  1. I like it! It looks small, compact, and sturdy. Perfect for barreling through lines of droids. I do believe it is Megablocks...my little brother received a Spiderman Megablocks set with that piece in it. Needless to say, poor quality, and he's a LOT more excited for the upcoming Spidey Lego set. But, this isn't the place to talk about that kind of stuff.
  2. That Bonesaw fig is really sweet. So there were oppurtunities to pick up customs at Brickworld?
  3. That's exactly what I was going to comment on! Lex Luthor's polybag art is really just fantastic.
  4. Gee, you should be sick more often! I'm kidding, sorry to hear about the food poisoning. But when you get time to MOC you sure create awesome things! I like the helicopter a lot, especially the windscreens/cockpit, the rotor, and the spots of dark green. And the base (the grass, etc.) is great too.
  5. @OG Legomaniac: If TLG produces the Mos Eisley Cantina, I absolutely need the Cantina band. It seems like a good idea, because they're such an iconic part of the cantina.
  6. Neat brick. I saw one pic before, and should've realized the size, but I didn't understand how tall it is until now.
  7. That sounds cool. Each fig could also come with an actual card. We should put this on CUUSOO! EDIT: Let's make them flesh-toned, as servants of the queen from Alice In Wonderland!
  8. Even if The Clone Wars ends soon, I doubt TLG will stop making Star Wars sets. After all, their license goes til 2023, and they could still make sets from the movies and the EU.
  9. Gotta agree with you there...although I'm a much bigger Superheroes fan than POTC. I'll recommend pre-ordering. You can re-sell the game later if ya want. Everybody get it now!! Oooooh, the debrickifier. Sending chills up the spines of minifigs everywhere!
  10. Wow, you're great at building with limited pieces! Your micro-MOCs are fantastic. I'd like to see you work on a mini-scale project without Creationary's limits.
  11. Somebody's got LOTR figs...I'm jealous! Wow, that clay head actually looks pretty good! Could you post a close-up of it?
  12. I'm a bit unsure if this is allowed, due to the fact that he's dead. But I think it should be, because in a place like Gotham City, murder is common. So here I go! The Late Ivan Hoffstadter While he was alive, Ivan was a fashion designer. He specialized in Victorian-era style clothing. Ivan lived a normal (as normal as Gotham gets), day-to-day life. He was a bit of a robbery target though, due to his riches from his designs. He had been mugged several times in his life, but on a hot spring night, this robbery took his life. He gave a brief description of the encounter to the police, right before he died: "I was walking along the road, just heading home from the studio. I was carrying my laptop with the latest designs in my hand. I heard heavy breathing and a pounding along the street behind me. I turned around to come face-to-face with a gangster teenager! In his hand he had some kind of knife, but it was more like a wolverine claw! He didn't hesitate to plunge it into my chest. He completely tore me apart. Then he grabbed my laptop, my money, and sprinted away. I laid bleeding in the gutter. Please man, help me survive? I need to make it through this!" Regretfully, Ivan died three minutes later. More pics: Side: Took this on a slight angle, so you can see the gaping hole in his chest. Back: And the vig: Price: Series 6 Bandit Torso: $0.68 Lucius Malfoy Head: $0.61 Minifig, Headgear Hair Long, Dark Brown: $0.79 Black Legs Assembly: $0.02 Red Acrylic Paint: Approx. $2.00 Total: $4.28 Hope ya liked it! C&C welcome (as always), and remember to vote!
  13. It's a good idea for some MOCs. This one looks pretty neat. The only thing I'd change: it seems a little bit bland. TLG's sets are usually full of stuff to appeal to a kid...so maybe you could add something more. Other than that, I like it! Any plans to brick-build it?
  14. I know everyone can get it, but it'd nice to have it in a set. Who knows what the price could do on Bricklink? But, it's not too big a deal, cuz I've already got mine. Well, off to Bricklink/eBay for you...Unless you're still gonna try to get one with the promo...
  15. I've been posting a few photos in the SW Photography thread so now I decided to do some licensed ones. They're all Batman themed at the moment. On the Edge Batman on a ledge, just like he’s fond of doing. The photo effect reminds me of how one might see him after being poisoned with a dose of Scarecrow’s fear gas. Kiss in the Rain Batman and Catwoman, maintaining their secret romance. Again, the bright colours in a slightly colourless photo, as well as the shakiness, remind me of the effects of Scarecrow's fear gas. And my personal favourite: Another angle of their kiss. I like the black and white effect a lot. Well, let me know what you guys think!
  16. DC...I honestly don't know what to say. It's beautiful. So good it almost doesn't look like Lego anymore. I love it. Someday, if I ever have the money, I'd love to buy an MOC from you. Out of curiosity, if you were ever to sell something like this Lifeboat Station, how much would it cost?
  17. Sweet building. The colour scheme looks warm, and it looks cozy. Are you gonna enter it in the contest?
  18. Awesome! You chose a rather unique concept by making a modular run by Ollivander. Your building is fantastic! The dark blue makes for an amazing roof. The interior just wows me. Is that Indiana Jones I spy going to get another suit? I love your entry. Keep it up!
  19. Thanks! Like I said, I highly recommend getting it. I'd try...but unfortunately I don't own the mech yet. It's high on my list though! I would take the armour off first. I think his printed torso will look amazing in the mech! Thanks just2good! It really is awesome. I'm kinda doubtful about an additional realease of this exact figure. But we can hope! I do like having an exclusive figure, but it'd also be great if everyone could get it.
  20. I just realized, I don't think I have enough light bley, dark bley, or brick yellow, to make a whole room. Is there any possibility I could use black?...I am doing a dungeon after all. I understand if that's not allowed. If it is, great, if not, I'm going to have to withdraw my entry from the CB. Thanks.
  21. Maybe it's a bit out of proportions, but I think TLG decided kids need BIG weapons to take down the superheroes. And, if it was smaller it might've been hard to fit all the Kryptonite pieces on. But it's definitely the printing on the fig that makes him sell. Thank you! I bet you'll love the polybag. Apparently I wasn't supposed to get mine until after I picked up the game...oh well, I'm happier this way. I wonder if they'll accidentally give me another one when I go to pick my game up. If they do, should I correct them or just take the fig?
  22. Just wanted to say great work. You captured the look of the real train really well. And the background (the trees and stuff) is really good too!
  23. I'm doing the same thing with Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter. The chore: sort my Lego collection!
  24. I was wondering, do reviews have to be RA approved to be indexed here and in the Set Index? If not, is there any chance my Lex Luthor review could be indexed? Thanks a ton.
  25. Oooo, someone doesn't like Superman, huh? That's a tough one. I'm not too experienced with things like that yet, but I'd guess $15-$20. Maybe someone who knows a bit more about it can help you, too. It's a new face? Thanks for letting me know! I'll have to change my information. I'm glad you liked the use of my sigfig, and thanks so much! Although the pictures could've turned out better if it hadn't been so gloomy yesterday.
