  1. Should I just leave at that size then, or should I enlarge it? I have an idea, I'll have what I've already built stay that size and I'll add a few more things to it, and then I can build one or two things on smaller baseplates like a hedge maze, and if we decide to make it an outer garden, I can add those to my already existing build. How does that sound? I think it would be fine to have a slightly unrealistic courtyard, as most of the modules so far have a lot of themed elements to them which I love, but aren't super-accurate.
  2. A hearty welcome to Eurobricks Mariann Asanuma! The things you've made are brilliant and it's good to see you joined the best web-site in the world. Enjoy yourself!
  3. Pardon me for asking, but what exactly is a "50 courtyard?" Anyway, I think I'll build a garden that is outside of the castle, because I think that it leaves a little more room to be creative, and a beautiful garden rather than muddy tracks is more what I had in mind. Like I said before, I'm not much of a castle expert. If I do build an outer garden, where would it rest in the general layout of the castle, and how big should it be? Lastly, if I do the garden, can i kepp what I already have built and just add some things? Thanks for listening to my endless questions!
  4. Should I build a fence around the courtyard/garden or whatever it is then? I think I want to somehow incorporate it in to the castle. I like the idea of having a separate area with a garden and hedge maze or something.
  5. That's another lovely module Thrash! I love the hot coals.
  6. Ho ho ho! Mine's now Christmasified if that's a real word.
  7. Hey, I'm not a castle expert! I still have a few more things to add to it, but I think Ill keep the flowers and such, and if we want to just consider it a garden, that's fine with me. But I don't think it really has to be 100% accurate, it is LEGO after all. Dennimator, I'll post close-up and white background pics of everything once it's all finished, but here's one of the fountain for you.
  8. I'm not sure a large maze would fit in the space. Did you mean change the level of the fountain?
  9. Sounds like a lot of fun! Good timing too, I just finished my first train MOC, so I might try to decorate that....
  10. I'll be shooting a new one tomorrow. I'm liking what I see so far!
  11. Unfortunately you can't anymore. To get in to this you had to sign up for the mystery raffle, which ended a few weeks ago.
  12. River Chase 100%. Lots of nice plant pieces, dark green crocs and great minifigs.
  13. I did it. It's great that TLC is doing stuff like this, and it's even better to put Eurobricks on the top of my list of websites!
  14. Here's a little WIP picture of the courtyard. I want to fill it up a bit more, but I'm not sure what to add. Let me know if you have any suggestions. ISC, I don't think I'm going to build anything for the CCCCCCCCVIIVSXS or whatever it is now. I'm not sure if I'll find the time and bricks to do it, but we'll see.
  15. Great entries secret contestants! They are all really creative and well designed, but in the end I had to choose the bakery, as I'm particularly fond of chefs... It also had a lot of creative ideas like the rolling pin and a nicely tiled floor. Nice work everyone!
  16. That's a lovely bignette! Your rocks are very well-built and the addition of a few plants provides great color contrast with the grey. I like the little "golden cave" as well. Great work!
  17. Welcome to Eurobricks Obxcrew! I look forward to seeing your MOCs posted here.
  18. Nice work on that cryptogram Brickster! I was searching Google for all it's worth.
  19. My first attempt at a train MOC, it's not great but I'm pleased considering I've never built a LEGO train before. I didn't want to use the red and black pieces, but I didn't have enough in white unfortunately. It seems the people inside are going to some sort of a weirdo convention... Thanks!
  20. That was fast! I've been looking on Dermot's computer searching all of the different ciphers and got nowhere! I wonder how we get to the chimney?
  21. Great review! The close-ups of the minifigs are beautiful, what type of camera do you have? This is a beautiful looking set with fantastic minifigs and pretty well-designed cars. It's great to finally see Indy in a different outfit isn't it? I suppose the U.S. price will be $30 then. Thanks for the review!
  22. What an odd note... I would assume it's some kind of a word puzzle, but we must figure out what type...
  23. I voted for the Trace hair, as I think it has the most overall uses and it's always great to see a new female hair mold. The Spalko/Claw-Dette hair is great for this reason as well. Some runner-ups were the Mutt hair and the beautiful fedora. I like most of the other ones too, but most of them don't have too many uses. Nice idea for a poll.
  24. Edit: Whoops! I didn't know NavyTrooperFenson had already posted the pictures. Great looking set, I love the minifigs and the cars look lovely as well. Sorry about that!
  25. I agree, let's head through the western door and see where it leads.
