Hey Dragonator, enjoy a cold one, courtesy of me and your brand-spanking new ice cube tray!

So, I walked into Target today, and guess what I saw, Darth Vader's TIE! Needless to say I went ahead and bought it. That was the only 09 set I saw, but they did have the largest 2 pirate sets, the largest Power Miner and $10 Power Miner set, and the City Minifigure collection and Crawler Crane. I saw price markers for a few other 09 sets, but none were actually on the shelf. Plenty of empty space just waiting for '09!

I did this with the Coast Guard Kayak impulse. It's a challenge, but extremely satisfying.

Team Beta Community Build MOC's

Wow ISC, that's a beautiful model! So many great details and action, I love it! -
Brillant work as usual SlyOwl! The train track water is beautiful and the swirly water reminds me of this painting: I love the details in the skeleton area like the grey flippers and the torches as well. Is it really unstable considering the curviness to it? Great MOC!

That made me laugh. In addition to the humor, your MOC actually is very well-made. I especially like the way you made the gift-sucking lasers. I'm not really sure why this would get you banned though.... Nice work!

Fantastic work guys! It all looks so good together, and the round wall is beautiful. I love all of the little details you included like the cross and the seal on the floor. Great job! -

The chapel looks fantastic! I especially love the stained glass window. -
Although, it was difficult for us in America to get the Castle Advent Calendar, which probably worries some people. But if it's not released in the U.S., I'll just do what I did with the Castle calendar, ask my grandparents in Germany to send it to me.

So you hate me!? When I first created an account, it was without a 1, but somehow (I don't really remember) it got screwed up and when I tried to sign it it didn't work. But I never had any posts on that account. So I created another account and since Erdbeereis was already taken, I settled on the first number. So do you forgive me for having a "number name"?

This is for the new bandwagon theme on Flickr, IATTAR Ranger Rob rolls into the IATTAR in his Buzzer. His good luck charm is to never wear a shirt , and to wear his lucky hat and pants. He loves racing on desert surfaces. This is such a fun idea! More pictures on Flickr. Thanks!

If indeed we get a pirate advent calendar, I would be overjoyed. This year's castle version was excellent and I can only imagine how much i would love a pirate one. Perhaps we would get 2 different pirates and soldiers, some sort of female character, and perhaps a new minifig from a 2010 line if that comes. Some parrots and treasure chests of course as well.

Snow Box Derby Rules & Discussion
Erdbeereis replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
We need some sort of a blocking mechanism. His snow box is very nice though. Don't listen to those Men in a Dark Color! Support the only team which has both a sucky economy, plus food on a snow box! Now let's slide! -

Thanks both of you! I enjoyed making the wizard, I think he's trying to cast a spell to get himself in the tree. -

I think the only way I'll include a hedge maze is if I build it on a separate baseplate, because a 10 stud hedge maze would just look goofy. "Honey look! I made it all the way through the maze!" "Good work, but there was only one turn!" Thanks for the feedback guys, and thanks a lot Thrash for taking care of the thumbnails. -
Thanks for the reviews! I like the shuttle quite a bit, and I think Mace Windu looks excellent, even though he's in cartoon form. However, I can't help but feel that the set lacks both size and detail. The wings just look strange to me for some reason, maybe because they look so flat compared to the ship's body. The engine area seems weak to me with the tiny blue studs and all of the technic holes showing... But I'll almost definitely still buy it because it's not too bad and I would love to get Mace Windu. Thanks again for the review!

Review: 8961 Power Miners ~ Crystal Sweeper
Erdbeereis replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The instructions say to put a stcker on the screen, (normally it's just black) but I didn't want to put it on, in case I want to use the piece in a MOC later on. However, you can see the sticker that's supposed to go on the sceen in the picture of the sticker sheet. The one that goes on the screen is the one in the upper-right corner. I think it's some sort of scanning device. Hope thatt helps! -

Review: 8956 Power Miners ~ Stone Chopper
Erdbeereis replied to Derek's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for giving us a view of this set! I agree with you that this set somehow lacks character, but it's a good way to get a Power Miner and a rock monster at a small price. If you want to learn how to make great reviews, I would suggest joining the Reviewers Academy. Thanks again! -

Thanks for taking care of all of the thumbnails Thrash! Is the courtyard satisfactory? -
Wow! What an amazing set... One question, how many fish are included? Thanks for the pictures!

I believe my Target had one or two Fighter Tanks left last time I was there, but they are going very quickly.
