Thanks for the U.S. prices! Overall, very reasonable, and judging from them, the battle packs should be the same price as they have been. AAT is a definite buy at that price.

I do a lot of cooking in that house you know. It may seem old, but it has a state-of-the-art kitchen. -

I used to have one, but I'm afraid I might have baked it into a cake. And now that key is probably in one of my diner's stomach... Hurry up Anthony, or we might freeze to death out here! Why must it be so cold in this village?! -

Aha! There he is! We've been talking about you, you know. What do you like to eat good sir? It would be an honor to make you a fine meal, we could talk about Mr. Sinclair's crappy lovely movies while we dine. -

That's just brilliant. So much detail on the walls and those huge kegs= . Great work on the tiled floor as well, it's just such a lively scene isn't it? Fantastic work! -
Don't worry about me, I got some new Pirates sets out of it! Thanks again for all of your effort Zorro!

Greetings! I am here today to bring you an exciting tale of drama, mystery and happiness. One that crossed continents multiple times and brought disappointment aplenty only to end with joy and much humor. Let us begin on the 1st of October when I made a post stating that I was in need of some Imperial Soldier torsos and red plumes for my PtV entries... One day later, Zorro3999 sent me a P.M. stating that he was willing to send me one of each torso and plume from Belgium. We made the arrangements, and I was very pleased. A week or two went by, and I opened my mailbox to find an envelope from Belgium. Excited, I picked it up and found, to my horror, the it was completely ripped open and the contents missing. I was shocked, and sent Zorro a message explaining the predicament. He then used a Bricklink connection of his in the U.S to send me 2 red plumes and 1 of each torso, once again, I felt happy and expected the shipment to arrive within a week. 1 week went by, then 2. Finally Zorro sent me a message, the contents of which made this story all the more crazy.... ==================================================== So, Zorro sent the contents of the package that came from the U.S., was supposed to stay in the U.S., ended up in Belgium, and was now en route back to the U.S. So, once again, I was happy and felt that this crazy story was about to come to an end and I would have plenty of time to finish up my PtV entries when they arrived. A week went by, they still hadn't come, but I thought that was relatively normal seeing as they had to go across continents. I was due to go on vacation for a week at that point, and figured the mail would be there when I got back, so I sent this message to Zorro. So, I had a nice relaxing week on the beach with no worries about mail or anything. Then I arrived back home and proceeded down to the mailbox, eagerly anticipating the mail that I had waited so long for. Alas, nothing was to be found other than holiday catalogs and bills. I was heartbroken, and figured I would never see the torsos that Zorro had been so generous to send me. However, I still needed Imperial Soldiers for my entries, and I heard that many people had been finding the new 09 Pirate sets at Toys R Us. Normally, I wouldn't bother going to a crappy TRU that's over 20 minutes away, but boy was I desperate. I got to TRU hoping very much that the new sets would be there, and I could finally get a soldier of my own. At first, there was no sign of any new Pirate sets, but then I spotted the impulse sets on the edge of the aisle. I proceeded to buy 4 Soldier's Arsenal sets and 2 Pirate Survivals, and I was pleased, even though I never got the old ones. So, I used the new ones in my entry, and all was well, however I still wondered what ever happened to the ones from Belgium. Then, long after I had entered my MOCs for the contest and 2 days after the contest ended, I found a big surprise waiting for me at the end of the street... It was December 1st, exactly 2 months after my original post saying that I needed them, when I got a mustard yellow envelope in my mailbox with the things I had long desired. So, that was that, the most interesting, frustrating and exciting mail story I have ever come across. Now, let's get that PtV contest finished! And whoever bothered to read this whole story gets a package shipped to them from Zorro! Thanks!

I thought '08 was a great year, especially because it was my first full year after my dark age. Indiana Jones was a great line, and one of my favorites especially for pieces. I always enjoyed Adventurers and Indy was no exception. Agents was a great surprise in my opinion. When I first saw prelim images from the toy fair, I must admit I was extremely skeptical, however, by the time I saw some reviews and picked up the Command Center, I was convinced that it was a great line with even better pieces for MOCing. I liked City pretty well, the first half I wasn't a big fan of, but the Coast Guard sets were quite nice. However next year looks even more promising for the line with the new farm sets Star Wars was decent, the first part of the year was pretty disappointing for me. As for the Clone Wars sets, the brought strange looking heads, but overall, the sets looked great, especially the lovely Republic Gunship. I definitely look forward to the rumored OT sets next year such as the Endor Base and small Hoth set. Castle was very good in my opinion. The Dwarves' Mine is fantastic and I loved the Tower Raid as well. Next year looks wonderful for Castle with the Market place and the great looking new figs. I've never been a huge Mars Mission fan, but this year's sets were certainly better than last year's. Speed Racer was just okay. I won't be missing it very much. 2008 also brought some excellent exclusives like the Green Grocer and the Taj Mahal, none of whice I have, but they look great in pictures! Overall, an excellent year, and 2009 looks beautiful as well with new Pirates, some nice looking Star Wars OT and Clone Wars sets, more Agents, many more fantastic sounding Indy sets, City Farm, hopefully some great new Space, and lovely sounding Castle sets.

Great review Zorro! I think this is a pretty good small set, the exterior isn't the most beautiful, but you get a nice minifig and a well stocked interior. The scroll piece is lovely! Thanks for the nice review.

My my Lieutenant Spencer, you certainly have a very stressed look about you! Come over to the kitchen later and I'll whip you up a calming 5 course meal. We can talk a bit about the mystery if you please. -
Now that's a fun way to display the lovely Castle Advent Calendar! I love the pictures and the rhymes are very fun to read. Great work, and I look forward to reading the other days!

Now that's funny! Great idea Sir Nadroj.

That's a great little Vignette Piotr! Your dragon coming out of the ground looks very nice, and the way you put on the tiles part way to give a "lifting up" effect adds so much. Lovely work!

Good afternoon ladies and gentleman. I am Chef Frederick Valentine but you may call me the chef for short , I am French and work in the fanciest hotel restaurant this side of the Atlantic, The Grand Chancellor. I enjoy a good wine, and also hitting the links with my chef friends. My favorite part about working in my restaurant is getting to shout and scream at those pesky waiters. As for my favorite foods, they would have to be fois gras, escargot, and chocolate mousse. I look forward to getting to know all of you a bit better... -
I have to say that I haven't been checking it out lately, but that's not because it's no good, in fact, I think it's a fantastic website. It's just that most of the MOCs that are blogged there, I've already seen either here on EB or on Flickr and MOCpages. But I will certainly be sure to stop by much more often and comment. I voted for building contests, as I think that they are fun and always draw a lot of attention, but MOCs from the community are what keeps a blog going, so don't drop those.

Very nice Sir Nadroj! Great usage of the new shark and lovely minifigs. Mr. Mandolorian, that torso is from some of the old pirate sets. Torso on B-Link Nice work!

That's just pathetic. I totally agree with what Greivous said about war-related video games. Those actually show people dying, while this little minifig is a freaking plastic toy! Like Badger said, they also didn't get any of the names right, plus they didn't include a statement from Brickarms. Overall, a very shoddy article...

Good news! Hopefully the others won't be far behind, the picture of the little trailer is already in the themes page. Sets are certainly getting more expensive though....
