Sorry sorry! We're not all Star Wars experts here! I can't be sure I like them, but I can form a decent opinion from a small picture. I find that I like the different color, and the fact that they are a bit different from the usual black white and grey. Satisfied?

Hmmm... I can't say that I love the design of the Venator. It looks very stubby and all of those exposed technic beams look like they came straight out of Mars Mission. The blue clones look great though in my opinion, but Palpatine looks a bit odd. I can't judge this completely from the one image, but my initial impression is not all that great. Many thanks for the picture though Legomilk!

They're actually yellow... Although the fleshies come in both white and brown. -
Power Miners: New Sets for 2009

If that costs $50, I, and a lot of other people will not be happy! It really doesn't look any bigger than the thunder driller which was $30... I guess we'll find out soon enough. -
Mystery Manor - Chapter Three
Erdbeereis replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh my heebie jeebies! What just happened?! Poor Mr. Blackwater, he looks like a piece of meat on a fork.... This certainly is a strange clue, perhaps we must pretend we are seals, while waving a nazi flag and shooting muskets? I agree that we should check out the hole in the ceiling left by the fallen chandelier. Give me a boost Mr. Sinclair would you? -
And then another! Alles gute zum Geburtstag! Happy birthday to both of you!

If that's not it I don't know what is! This is a tough one... It was cancelled on the 17th of September like Sandy said. -
SNOT stands for Studs Not On Top, which basically means that the studs on a brick aren't showing, or are being built sideways. This would be an example of SNOT water: Hope that helps!

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread
Erdbeereis replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Sorry that I haven't been producing any new modules lately. I'm currently in the process of taking apart all of my MOCs from the past few months, to resupply my pieces a bit and clear some space. As soon as I get that done, I'll begin work on the kitchen. Just to clarify, I might need to take apart the bakery, so I wanted to figure out what I needed to do before. For example, do I need to make instructions? -
Hmmm... Tough choice, especially since I don't own either! When you look at the minifig and piece count, Peril in Peru is a much better set value-wise. However, I just don't find myself getting excited about it, primarily because it played no role in the movie, and all of the minifigs I have multiples of from the other KOTCS sets, except for the uber-exciting pilot. On the other hand, every time I see the Flying Wing, although the piece count and minifig count suck, I just love the way the plane looks. For me it just has such an upper hand in the excitement value, which draws me to a set. Sure, the pieces aren't that useful for MOCing, but I can handle a few sets for mainly display purposes. I also like that it played a main role in the movie, unlike Peril in Peru. So, in the end, my closely contested vote goes to Fight on the Flying Wing. I'll make sure to pick up the Flying Wing at some point in the near future, but I think I'll pass on Peril in Peru. I'm liking these Indy Face-offs Brickster!

Which is mightier - Black Seas Barracuda OR Brickbeard's Bounty?
Erdbeereis replied to Captain Zuloo's topic in LEGO Pirates
You just said that 1 post ago... I frankly don't think it looks so bad, of course, the BSB is for the most part better with the real string, larger crew and such, but the new one does include some really nice pieces and design elements, plus some great new minifigs. Both are great sets, and the LEGO world has room for more than one beautiful ship. -
I think he just meant the tiled sidewalk.

I'd better watch my step around here, wouldn't want to run into a land mime. I had never heard of that policy. Thanks everyone!

Pillage the Village Contest - WINNERS - LARGE DIVISION!
Erdbeereis replied to SlyOwl's topic in Pirate MOCs
Agreed. By far the best contest I've ever been a part of (even though that list isn't gigantic. ). I enjoyed every minute of it. -
Extremely creative. It's things like this that make me think about all of the many uses for LEGO elements. I look forward to seeing the entire MOC!

B-V-4E Give him some loose change, he puts on quite a show! Flickr Thanks!

Brilliant! I simply love all of the color, especially the nice flag banner. The little market stand and waterfall are also great little touches. Beautiful MOC!

Pillage the Village Contest - WINNERS - LARGE DIVISION!

Congratulations! Capt. Kirk, enjoy your Black Seas Barracuda! Nice work SirNadroj and Lord King of Everything as well. Although I think SirNadroj might not want to ask himself for a prize, especially since he's supposed to get skull island not saber island (the link is correct though). -
That looks very nice so far Brickster! The Flying Wing fits in really nicely with the Adventurers and the other desert landscaping that you've made. I'm excited to see what this will look like once you add those ruins. Nice work!

In New York City, but that wasn't where the Market Village was shown for the first time. I believe that was at BrickCon.

I voted for number one, simply because I thought it looked simple, but elegant. I may need to change out one or two of the parts I don't think I have though, that's okay as far as I know right? In the large opening in the side of #1, are we supposed to include a door, or just leave it open?

Mystery Manor - Chapter Three

Now we're getting somewhere! I agree that we should look in the history book on page 318. Perhaps that will lead to another clue, or a pass code.
