Nice one Martinsuper! Congrats on your nice find, and for helping out C-P at the same time. -
I think the skeleton heads in the Cemetery set might be reversible, thus only one skellie head. I may be wrong though.

Oooh, I like that Town contest idea. Sounds like a great contest.

Hehe, good idea Etzel. You did a very nice job with the little shack. -
Join the club Ricecracker! I placed a B-link order yesterday of: 4 of the red and white striped sails from BB's Bounty and 2 reddish-brown middle hulls sections for a future Pirate project. Also some Pirate minifigs and parrot for my brother's birthday party. LEGO pirate Cupcakes baby!

REVIEW: Indiana Jones 7197 - Venice Canal Chase
Erdbeereis replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh yes, Svelty is at it again! This is an excellent review of a fittingly excellent set. The minifigs like others have said are just lovely. My favorite new piece has to be the fez, I see it being useful for just about any MOCing theme, but the Elsa hair and the torsos for all of the figs are superb as well. It's nice that TLG didn't seem to go down in design of anything; the boats and bridge are also very nice looking and have some good parts as well. Indiana Jones is certainly one of the best lines LEGO has ever made in my opinion. Thanks so much for the review Svelte! -
Ah yes, I usually don't have to worry about change-overs as normally we just travel from the airport to where we're staying. One thing I do like about trains is that they are usually quite smooth rides compared to driving. I look forward to seeing your pictures!

Legs are mysterious things Sly... Bricklink says I have 490, but including B-link orders and other random sources it's probably a bit more.
-
He's back already silly. Glad to hear you enjoyed it Jim, what was wrong with the trains? I always love riding the trains in Europe (at least the ones I've ridden in Germany and Italy).

Space and Perspective: combination of minifig and micro scale
Erdbeereis replied to Bonaparte's topic in Pirate MOCs
That's an excellent MOC Pirate Cat! The perspective idea is brilliant, and you pulled it off very well. Your ship design look lovely as well. I really hope to see more MOCs from you here on Classic-Pirates/Eurobricks. Welcome to the community! -
That's fun to look at. The water is really well done, nice and smooth yet with some great texture. I love the idea behind the MOC, very entertaining.

Wow, there are still some low prices there. The Magna Starfighter is only $20 at the moment. -
That's a really fun entry Svelte. I love the design of the building, especially the dark red storage thingies on the roof. Good work on the minifigs as well, but stop making us jealous with your new pieces. Good luck to you!

Excellent review Svelty! This really is a lovely set, and very reminiscent of Classic-Town I must say with the open backs and simple construction. Classic-Town fans must surely be thrilled by this set. The 1 x 2 cheeses are interesting, I don't know that they are really necessary, but who knows, they may turn out to be quite useful. That bus is simply outstanding. It has a great modern look, with some nice lines. I can't wait to get my hands on this set, thanks again for the perfect review!

Haha, it looks like Svelty's latest review has brought in some new recruits! I look forward to seeing your reviews guys. -
Could be. Say, why don't you survey a bunch of Americans and find out? Ok, back on topic now! I really do hope that the swordfish will be included, as it looks lovely and would be a great new addition.

I think many people in the U.S. know what it is, but I may be wrong.

I never got a whole turkey in my Castle Calendar... Just a leg or two. I'm still hopeful that this will be a lovely item. Last year most people didn't like the City calendar, but I still greatly enjoyed it.

This should be a fun thing to have. While I agree that I would have been nice to get a new minifig, we can't totally rule out getting one. The picture did still say prelim. Even without a new minifig, I always am happy to get some more pirate pieces, and also a soldier or 2.Blackmoor, how do you know what accessories will be in it? All we can really see are the minifigs.

Thanks for the new pics! I believe that it will be 110 at TRU, and 100 at S@H... Not a great price, but I think it's still worth it.

I got that this morning as well. I never open a link that doesn't have some text explaining what it goes to, especially if the member only has 10 posts.

8% for me. Apparently I'm so good I make bad people squirm.... I have killed a mosquito many times though I will admit.

That's a lovely collection CopMike. Where did you acquire all of those? My last buy was the 2009 Green 12.99 Creator Car. Street Speeder I think it's called.

Thanks for the scoring update Sly. Yes, there will be something to look forward to, trust me...
