I'm not familiar with the Denver stores. However, definitely look at the pick-a-brick wall because you can find some great pieces for a relatively low price there if you get lucky. Nice MOC! It almost looks as though it was made in LDD for some reason (the picture looks almost like from a computer screenshot.) You did a nice job making it full of action; the minifig poses are excellent. I'll just move this topic to the MOCs forum.

Simply amazing Derfel! It just looks so sleek, certainly one of the best LEGO ships I've seen. The sails are perfect, and I also think it was very smart to build such a nice base for it to sit on. It looks like a better version of a UCS Star Wars set. Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic work of art with us.

Personally, I would never paint my minifigs because I like them to be exactly as they were when they were made. However, if you feel like you want to customize them a bit more, nobody will come to your house and arrest you if you paint them. If you do decide to paint them, make sure to do enough research so that you get the results you want, or else you might regret it.

Beautiful MOC Dan Church. The way you made the water to look like it has different depths really makes the MOC pop. Another thing I love are all the little scenes throughout, such as the pig roast and the hammock (very clever idea!). Thanks for sharing!

I fixed the subtitle for you. Nice MOC. Although it is relatively simple, you executed the little details well that make it come together like the placement of the treasure. Interesting first photo as well; is that a sketch effect or something?

It is, and as you can see, we are dealing with it. However, regardless of age, it is a requirement to be cordial to all members even if you might not agree.
