Great to see you again Sly! This is an outstanding MOC. So full of action; I can almost hear the waves crashing in my head. That water has great texture. It's hard to accomplish water like that without it looking blocky, but you have made it look very natural. Thank you so much for sharing, and good luck in the contest!

Thanks a lot everyone! I'm excited to take this new position. It might take me a while to become fully acquainted with the Star Wars forum, since I haven't visited it too often in the past, so just be patient with me as I "learn the ropes" so to speak. I'm looking forward to meeting some new faces and seeing some old friends as well. And for all of you Pirates, I won't abandon you. I will certainly still hang around there and help if necessary. Here's a great post from Sinner that explains it a bit better. Section 3 is particularly valid in this case. I hope that clears things up; let me know if you have any other questions.

That reminds me of when I got some old dusty ship hulls from Ebay a few years ago. They came in an old Texas-Toast box, and it took forever to get all of the dust off. They were pretty gross looking when I first got them, but eventually they came out pretty well. I got a big tub of soapy water and scrubbed with a toothbrush like you said. Thanks for sharing your cleaning methods!
