I changed the title from "The trap" to "The Pretzel Thief" once I completed the MOC so now it is more open ended than what I initially had in mind. Looking forward to seeing your next build.

Thanks! I don't think its AAG that Puss needs to worry about. (hint: whos in the trunk?) But I'll leave that up to BB.

Thanks! I'm glad you got the BB feel as that was what I was aiming for. Thanks! I had the whole seen in my head and I was wondering what Puss had that the werewolf would want and then it struck me: the pretzel. Thanks! Thanks! Enjoy the build, not the photography. Thanks! I'm sure the trunk and shrooms would fit in perfectly if I enlarged the scene. This scene is a transition from open fields to shaded woodlands. Imagine a small pond in a forest a bit southwest of the trunk.

Although he had not yet accomplished what he had come to Antyria to do, Puss “No” Boots was quite pleased. There was so much in Antyria to see and do! He left Crown Point, munching on one of Paula's pretzels, so delighted in the delicious taste he was quite oblivious to his surroundings. Unfortunately for him, his peaceful bliss was about to be disturbed for he was not the only one who enjoyed Paula's pretzels. Edit: I am presently borrowing a camera so am not familiar with the options. However I think that the pic did come out clearer than would have with my camera. I am not nor ever will be a photographer so enjoy the build not the photos.

Mike S replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Guilds of Historica
Sorry guys, I had to take some time off from building because work and family but my planned builds are still underway. Continuation of Meriths story will hopefully be up Sunday and I'm working on more adventures of Puss "No" Boots. -

Exactly what I was thinking.... -
This is some brilliant Historican lore and the build is really great too. If it hasn't already been done this needs to be put in the wiki where it won't get lost.

Yes I was thinking of doing another small MOC featuring Puss called "The Trap" continuing where you left off with him leaving town munching on a pretzel quite oblivious of his surroundings. Hes not the brightest of fellows but he always manages to get out of trouble by sheer luck or stupidity. My creativity is however currently blocked and I can't seem to think of the details to finish the plot in a humorous way. So if you don't mind, I'll just get him into trouble and let you get him out of it?

This is awesome! I think my favorite border so far. Great idea!

Ahh I see now. Hes much younger than Zakon. Must be his son....

Great work! I really like the pic with the hand soldier coming out of the shed munching on the rib!

Great intro! Also like the color contrast on the wall in the 4th picture.

I have a bad feeling he may have strengthened his banishment by the use of his ex-girlfriends account.... -

I wonder what percent of Historica has actually been MOCed.... So much more here to be discovered without having to create more land. -

You know I was just thinking that it seems we already have everything that we need to attract new members. All we need to do is get building inspirational MOCs. -

Prizes are cool but probably not a motivating factor for me and I think I would rather have a custom tag than a brick built trophy unless the trophy had some rare parts I could scavenge. I agree that the challenges should be opened up a bit more. Even with the time extension, I fear I will not be able to get 3 builds done for challenge 6. This challenge really made it hard on members with time constraints. -
Great intro! Welcome to GoH. I too was wondering where u got a hold of white hoods and I must say u did a fine job painting them as I could never tell.

I agree that 5 guilds is more than enough. Perhaps the Guild system can be reinvented so that it isn't based on location. This could also help balance the guilds out I think. Keep a maximum of 4 guilds (we could always reduce to 3 until we have built up an active member base again) This would also immediately allow members to move to Varlyrio right away without having to divide the guilds into 5. Perhaps the guilds can instead be based on business enterprizes... @Skaforhire- Other than the 5 guilds I think everything you proposed is agreeable and kudos for you taking the time to try to organize things.
