  1. Its listed on the front page of the shop. It automatically adds the points when you checkout I think.
  2. I like it! Its simple yet detailed enough to give a good representation of your ruined islands. And the photo is definately not any worse than mine
  3. He's back? I thought your heroes washed him away... Seriously though I think you should keep him around forever and he can become a legend in Kaliphlin something like the Yeti... My flagship is progressing fine. Still waiting for an order from Lego Shop at home to print out a new Kaliphlin Times edition. My Black Pyramid project got put on the backburner when I started working on my flagship but I intend to get back to it soon. And of course the Hitchhikers Guide to the Siccus Badlands is long overdue for an update. However I think I have a few more new pieces to collect before I will work anymore on that.
  4. LOL thats some crazy photoshopping... but your WIP is looking good. I really like the idea of the swamp village. I've always wanted to make a mysterious village but never really tried as yet. If I ever do I'm thinking it will be modular like yours.
  5. You guys need to gett this guy to join Nocturnus ----> The Voice of Evil
  6. I wouldn't worry too much about comments... If you are satisfied with your creation then that is what matters. In my opinion your caravell fits its intended purpose perfectly. I think that comments here are a lot like in the real world. If a bunch of people are walking in the dock district, they probably won't comment on any of the many cargo ships in port but when they see that majestic ship of the line anchored across the bay, that is what is going to draw the comments.
  7. Is Yvonnel getting a group together? If so Mikel might join the group. He has recently discovered an ancient Drow tunnel entrance and would like to become more aquainted with Drow history. (He has other motives too... he is looking for something.)
  8. Btw I haven't heard anything from the High King concerning recent events... Wasn't he supposed to be visiting all the guilds? Sorry for the double post... thought I was editing my last post... @DaMaiximus - Glad to hear Menshe Isra Ar escaped unharmed!
  9. Thanks Gabe! I have more ideas and plan to post a new edition every week or so until at least July 4th. For the heads up, each new issue will be posted in the same thread as the last... I am also working on a new flagship. My first in fact. I have had several ideas and have a few skeletons of ship projects laying about but this one actually took off to the point where I should hopefully finish it soon. I have about 8 or 9 large unfinished MOCs now and everytime I go to finish one I find an interesting piece, get a new idea, and start a new MOC. Hopefully my Kaliphlin Times will be an outlet for my extra creativity as I tend to think on a smaller scale for that.
  10. Well said. I just am not sure that Yvonnel fits the bill either as she is too ambitious. I say if you combine the level headedness of Lord Ssillyrylith with the charisma of Yvonnel, Nocturnus will have a perfect leader. In other feudal kingdoms, two powerful families would make peace by merging the two families through marriage but it isn't going to happen here. I suspect that Yvonnel may end up be killed off or banished if she doesn't curb her ambitions.
  11. I guess I could enter the Kaliphlin Times print shop depicting the various guilds picking up shipments of newspapers... And since I can have more than one entry I wil try and think of something else to submit as well.
  12. Yes I did read the description... that was just a lame joke lol
  13. As already stated in his article, Menshe Isra Ar has no direct relation with Kaliphlin Times other than writing guest columns... Clive Harper, Chief Editor and Founder of Kaliphlin Times @DaMaximus - I updated Kaliphlin Times with links to your articles...
  14. Yes, I am planning to add that under a guest column heading.
  15. Clive Harper came to see me and convinced me to help finance his Newspaper. I agreed and Kaliphlin Times will soon have an official facility. (MOC nearly complete) Inspiration struck and I also designed a printing press for him. He just came out with a new issue. You can read it here: Kaliphlin News
  16. Nice array of war machines you are putting together! Btw thanks for training my Knights of Aslan! I've been too busy adventuring and haven't had the time to battle train them so its good they get to practice with your soldiers.
  17. As usual, a supurb creation!
  18. Nice story and simple build to go with it! Keep up the good work!
  19. Haha sounds like my LEGO workspace... Anyway your WIP is looking great!
  20. !!!Latest Issue!!! Issue #5 by Clive Harper Beaches of Kaliphlin Elementals and weather ruining your vacation? Come to Kaliphlin where we have the finest beaches in Historica. Watch the sun rise each morning while listening to the sea waves rolling up to shore and sipping on your favorite cold beverage. Think paradise... Kaliphlin paradise. Mikel has sent me news that he has observed a large Vampyre army on the march during his journey into the deep tunnels of Nocturnus with Lord DaMaximus and the Alleenridders. Where they are marching to or what is their purpose, he was not able to say. I will now finish my series on Legends of Historica. A Legend of Avalonia: The Forest King The Forest King also known as the Protector of the Forest is a favorite tale told to Avalonian children. He is said to protect all that is in the forest and should you lose your way, he will see to it that you find your way back again. That is unless you are of malevolent purpose, in which case you will most likely never be seen or heard of again. It is not known whether such a being exists or even what he looks like but it is common for artists to portray him as a jovial grandfatherly type with a golden crown with a magnificant pair of antlers. He is often portrayed holding a giant hammer with which he dispenses the fury of the forest on those who wish to cause harm to the forest. A Legend of Mitgardia: The Valkyrie The Valkyrie is said to ride the clouds and to descend on those fallen in battle to carry off the brave and noble to a paradise beyond the skies. It is also claimed by some that have battled in the snowy peaks of the far north that at times the Valkyrie will even intervene on the battlefield and prevent the death of a brave and noble person. Whether this is a halucination caused by the thin air at those altitudes or is true, all tales are unanimous in portraying the Valkyrie as a beautiful female warrior. 21. Yes I had printed that out but I left the paper home. I hadn't really looked at the details so did my best to recreate how it was supposed to be done from memory...
  22. I like that design! NiceMarmot - I meant large cup... I think I was only able to get 139 in each and filled remaining space with 1x1 round plates.
  23. I did my first pick a brick the beginning of this month and got 5 large cartons of light grey 2x4s and now I have 2 orc forges on the way.... its been a pretty good month Legowise for me.... now just waiting to see the intro for challenge 4. I'm heading home soon so maybe I'll have to wait until tomorrow...
  24. Its always a day late! Anyway I think everyone is expecting something soon since there are so many members on right now....
  25. The first pic is just awesome! The whole MOC is beautiful! Whatever your doing with the lighting is working out well.
