  1. I agree. If you want to check peeron, which will have it if it does exist, then do a search for parts with the word wedge or slope
  2. I could make a suggestion but I need the third dimension. Your diagram is actually quite helpful but it only gives 2 dimensions. Can you draw/explain a side view?
  3. I clicked the link to have a look but it had been sold so I assumed you had decided to buy it! I'm sorry that you didn't get it but if it was a bargain then it was always going to attract attention. There are hundreds of people browsing bricklink at any one time so it may not have been because of the link you gave. I try to keep a special reserve of money for cases like this; when I see a bargain that I know won't be there for long!
  4. There are several boxes of each on the shelf and they're all empty, so somebody definitely didn't steal the bricks! My Woolworths isn't a huge store so I can't imagine that they've got a stack of unopened sets out the back which they go and get. This is the same store that has Agents Mission 1 at £11.99 instead of £7.99 and Mission 2 at £11.23 instead of £14.99 I was going to buy the Droid Gunship to find out what the deal was but since it's priced at £10 more than Lego.com, i've bought it direct from LEGO instead.
  5. I went to pick up a box of the AT-TE to have a close look and it was as light as a feather (or as light as an empty AT-TE box). I looked at all the other sets and all their boxes were empty too! Obviously an anti-shoplifting idea but this is only done with the new CW sets. Somebody must have told them that the minifigs are highly sought after! I can totally understand why Woolworths chose to do this but I wonder what happens when you buy one the sets. Take it to the checkout and they go and get a new unopened set or does someone bring out the bags to put in it. I don't like the idea of my set having been opened by someone else first! Is this happening elsewhere?!
  6. I would like to but one of the sets but I just can't justify the prices with myself! UK prices on LEGO.com Magna Guard
  7. This may not be new. £19.99 for the Y-Wing on lego.com
  8. I don't know about that, lol but i'm seriously impressed with the alternative models. That's a lot of variation and playability for one set. LEGO did an excellent job. Thanks for the review because I wouldn't have even seen this set otherwise
  9. I know what you mean. I'd love to get the new sets straight away but I may have to wait until I can get them on bricklink for £5-£15 cheaper (from the US) even after shipping costs. I'm pretty sure that the LEGO AT-TE is £59.99. The Hasbro AT-TE is £99.99.
  10. Get your AT-TE early minus the figs http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRAND-NEW-STAR-WARS-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  11. If we do get another droid battlepack, does anyone think it would be cool to have an arm variation for the Super Battle Droids like we got with the regular BD's when the new MTT was released? I'm fairly content with them just raising their arm to shoot but it might look better if their arms were horizontal past the elbow like in the films and animated series'
  12. If the AAT and Attack Shuttle sets are coming and look like that then I can't wait sexy Tried my Woolworths again today and they told me that they have the new clone wars sets but the lady told me that it says 'do not open until 26th July' on the boxes. I guess they're sticking to the rules in Yeovil. Fair enough. Won't stop me trying though!
  13. I went into my Woolworths again today to ask a different employee if they had the new Clone Wars LEGO sets in but they weren't sure. I mentioned that they're on sale in another Woolworths (thanks again Mutley!) so the employee phoned their stock room and they said they didn't have them but there is a delivery of new LEGO stock on Monday so it's either more Agents or Clone Wars Pestering Woolworths employees on!
  14. Sorry everyone, I should have said that it's not my video!
  15. Totally mindblowing. I'd love to see more pictures of this. I'd also like to know how exactly they raised money from this
  16. You're very lucky Mutley! I've tried my Woolworths (Yeovil) and they didn't have any out. They told me that if they had any then the sets would be out. Had some Clone Wars action figures on the shelf though. They had the new agents sets out today in a special display. First time i've seen them. Weird prices. Mission 1: Jet Pack Pursuit is £11.99 Mission 2: Swamp Raid is £11.23 Mission 2 looked like it had way more pieces so one of the prices is wrong! I don't want to hijack this thread but i'm very short of time so can someone say if either of those prices are correct. I'm going to be in Woolworths everyday checking for LEGO Clone Wars!!
  17. I received my UK Lego club magazine a couple of weeks ago but it's really behind with regards to what we know here on EB. More importantly for the UK though is that Argos has started it's end of catalogue clearance sale today. There are a couple of sets on sale but the new catalogue is out on the 26th of July This should contain the new Clone Wars sets (or whichever ones they'll be selling). Although they may not be available until a later date, it's worth keeping an eye out for and trying to buy them anyway
  18. The Argos 'end of catalogue' clearance sale starts today. I've just been in and Rogue Shadow is now £34.99 and the AT-AP is now £24.99 The new catalogue is out on the 26th of July and this should contain the new Clone Wars sets
  19. My current project is learning MLCAD. I don't have the space to do a lot of building so i'm using the almost unlimited virtual space! The software is excellent The project i'm working on with it was my SWCW competition bignette but I was taking too long to build it so now i'm focussing on a decent Ewok village. There are some excellent villages out there but i'm sure that I can do a better job
  20. Thanks for the info Karto. It's a real shame that the information isn't as accurate as it could/should be. I don't think i'll be buying this straight away, if at all.
  21. My nearest TRU is about 50 miles away and I don't drive. So i've ordered it. £39.99 (plus £4.99 delivery ) seemed an ok price to me - some hard to find figs and a rare set. Wasn't it more expensive when it was first released? I am supposed to be saving for the Clone Wars sets though but i'll be so glad to finally get this set Like the amazing new Death Star playset, I thought it would be a set i'll never own!
  22. - Sorry, no Sarlacc in this one, just the location of it. I may not have mantioned that this book comes with lots of great info on characters and locations along side the pictures. There are 8 cross-section books available that I know of. The details you need for this book: Inside The Worlds Of The Star Wars Trilogy ISBN 1-4053-0539-8 Published 2004 Website www.DK.com
  23. Is it only available direct from them?
  24. Sorry for the late reply. I've just moved house so i'm having to use the free internet at the library. I'll get you all the info you need and post back tomorrow. I was surprised to see this book myself as usually it's just the vehicles and not locations that get cross-sectioned
  25. This thread is 7 days old and there are only 25 pages of posts Like most, if not everybody, this set has exceeded my expectations - if I wasn't in the library looking at these pictures, I would definitely have been more vocal! Holy shizzle that's a lot of minifigs. I'm glad we weren't slowly fed fuzzy, blurry pictures of this like we have with the Clone Wars sets. I much prefer the clear and detailed pictures. The potential price of this thing and the reality of whether i'll ever own it starting to sink in now though
