Not my castle army but one for sale on eBay. How does 1.25GBP for a castle figure with helmet, weapon and shield sound? The only catch is that you have to buy all 1,200 of them! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/huge-amount-castle-l...=item255b12fe7c

Just the Indian left now I bought these before I found out about the barcode trick. I can absolutely guarantee that these are the minifigs in the packs. The barcodes are very specific and not ambiguous at all. So, rather than try and return them to the shop and exchange them, I thought i'd offer them to you guys and gals at a cheaper rate of £1.75 each. Reply here or PM if interested. Cheers! I am on the Straightshooters list (4-rating)

What i'm more surprised about that we're not getting reports of extra or random Assassin Droids in sets There are tons of those lying around but I bet TLC can't even give them away!

When I searched some time ago, I expected to find a few but there are surprisingly few large LUG's in the UK

World War 2 damage patched by LEGO bricks.

Definitely not DUPLO - the proportions are wrong but in a situation such as this, any brand of brick is cool with me ...unless it's MegaB -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
chris_austin replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I know we're all pretty sure that there will be a 2nd series but it can't be confirmed by this. Nearly every collectible that comes out, be it cards, stickers, games or toys always says series 1. Makes it seem more worthy to invest in. If the Zombie and Dummy don't have accessories AND the parts are random, this should mean that there will be an overall excess of accessories. I think patience will be the key to collecting these. There are going to be tonnes of parts that people don't want. I'm really excited for these but I won't go over the top if there's just a few parts left that I need. -
That kid reminds me of those "LEGO Maniac" adverts from the 90's! Great ads. I'm not very impressed with the idea of using these minifigs for anything other than what they are intended. Can we possibly see a picture of one with yellow/flesh head/hands? Thanks for the thorough review.

I like the look of this set. It's reminds of sets from when I was younger and not the very forgettable period from a few years ago. So, thanks for the review. I actually like the little wind sock accessory but i'm not liking the extra long curved slope piece. Do we need one piece that's so long?

It's nothing major and i'm sorry if it has been mentioned already (first post hasn't been corrected so I assume not!) but sure that this word is supposed to be Parkour, lots of SNOT to encourage Parkour play within the set. Just like the game and movie. I'm not sure why that particular word has been chosen and not some other word/s.

I haven't checked the jeep because it's almost certain that those parts in green are not new. The utensils however are available in the set for the first time ever in green: Rifle, Briefcase, Metal Detector, Binoculars, Radio and Stretcher. Am I the only one who doesn't really like this set, even for the torso's - aren't they too green to look right?

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
chris_austin replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
For me, it's because I love to see massive armies so it's even better when they are my own. Like most people, I do have a large MOC in mind aswell or perhaps one day, i'll get together with an opposing army and create a huge battle display for a Eurobricks or LEGO event. I've rarely make a purchase outside of Bricklink as it's nearly always cheaper when it comes to Star Wars. I've always bought loose minifigs instead of BP's and I always wait for a low price. I'm hoping for a new Battle Droid BP at some point because BD's are nowhere near as cheap as they were when sets 7654 and 7655 came out! -
That's what I got. I thought it looked cool but then it said "LEGO Universe Multiplayer Online Game" at the top of the poster The jumbo bee looks cool but i'm not sure what trans part to use for wings. The one in the poster doesn't exist yet.

LEGO in Film & TV: Index of Appearances
chris_austin replied to Izzy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Just saw a really old advert on the T.V. that I remember from when I was little. It's exactly the same except for the pricing information! It was such a nice surprise to change the channel and see this! Hope it's not only in the UK. There's nothing like a good LEGO advert to inspire you -
Can someone test this connection for me?
chris_austin replied to Carbohydrates's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm sorry but it doesn't hold it as you would like. The thickest part of the plume will stay but this requires it to be upside down in the lever base. Nice idea though. What is it for? -
Keep trying eBay - i've seen loads on there over the years. If you find one on eBayUK but they won't ship internationally then give me a PM

Simply amazing Love the stone brick work but i'm curious to know how you made the brown roof that way. Is it very stable?
-
Will both pilots have 'visor' faces? Seems strange that one would and the other wouldn't...
-
Lovely design and excellent minifig pose! Are the stickers your own printed ones? I'm curious about the technic pins. Are they representing something? Or in your 'LEGO universe', are they classed as building materials, like a steel girder or building brick in the real world?

I was outbid on this set: 7121 Naboo Swamp I'll go to Bricklink and buy a MISB one for less, thanks.
-
Lol, I wonder what this does look like - 21 months later! Must be huge by now...
-
On eBay UK there are several Medieval Market Village for sale and they are all well above RRP. I'll get mine 30% cheaper direct from LEGO, thanks. (cheaper shipping with TLC too!) Zorbas, what was that auction? It has been removed now...
-
It's not really a minifig that needs a lot of detail anyway, especially the face! Easily MOC'd
-
That would look amazing, even if it was just one of those and then attached to a non-trans-clear version. Great technique for connecting the panels btw

The word cherap doesn't usually go in the same sentence as anything! There are 122 lots for sale but there are several thousand of that piece for sale. One seller has 1400+ for $0.47 / 0.31 Euros / £0.28. They are relatively cheap for Bricklink. So $470 / 310 Euros / £280 not including shipping from the US You could buy from multiple sellers (minimum of 3 it looks like) but this would only save you around $50 and you could possibly lose some of that on the extra shipping costs.
