You should try for a Chevy Silverado. At least back when I bought mine, it was even made in Canada.

2013 Friends Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Mr Copperhead replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Don't they though!?! It just cracks me up all the toys they have. No idea what the turreted building is, but a mansion would be nice. I also looks like it could be a library to me and they could use one of those. -
That's great! I think you could add a big silo for your cows during the winter.

Why don't you make some male figures with cod pieces and see what response you get? I wonder if it would be different or not? -
Now he's perfect!!

That's actually really cool. Thing's maybe a little small though...

Nice review! I just wish I could ever find these polybags around here, I bought mine on Amazon for around $10 when shipping was added in

I was quite unsure about the line when it was first announced, but once the Friends were released I've been hooked and bought all of them except for one polybag I can't find except on Bricklink from Europe at an exorbitant price. I even bought doubles of the treehouse and I'm thinking of getting an army of Karate Emmas and a few more squirrels. The sets have great variety and I love the fact that we're getting normal stuff that I actually deal with in real life like houses, shops, restaurants, cars, boats, pets, etc. It's not that I don't like the police or the fire departments, but those are two things that I don't really want to deal with in real life! Call me boring, but... The new parts (especially silverware and other kitchen tools) and animals have been very useful and cute. Part count/dollar in these sets has been very good too. And... it's always good to have new colors! To top it all off, I really like the minidolls, just need more guys so we can have a slightly more well rounded Hearlake City. But I'll keep buying them even if they keep making just girls. Overall I completely love these sets Even to the point of putting off other LEGO purchases in order to get more Friends!

Set Falling apart while trying to build.

Sure, the gazebo with the Winter Village post office kept falling apart while I built it. Worked fine in the end though! -

I'm really hoping they make that light house. I like the Creator one, but it just doesn't seem to fit with the Friends for me. -
I really like this one, especially the shutters for some reason. Are you going to post pictures of the cellar and the other half on mocpages? I would love to see those!
-
It already is affordable and you can buy custom parts made by others or design your own and have this place print them for you. A search for LEGO turned up 492 parts. Mainly minifig related, but some interesting bricks there as well. http://www.shapeways.com/search?q=lego I haven't had any LEGO printed by them, but I have had some scupltures I made in Sculptris printed and they were quite amazing.

I like the transparent sections in the door quite a lot. I may have to do that to mine!

I like the little camper a lot, very cool!

Hah! I like that seagull stealing the fish.

That's very cool! I also like how you added more ties to make the track look better.

2013 Friends Sets - Rumours and Discussion

These sound pretty cool and I'll probably buy them all. I still hope they make a zoo though. TLG will have enough new animals to do it pretty soon! -
Well, actually LEGO could start selling licensed mascots. The sets wouldn't use any unusual bricks and LEGO wouldn't have to change the sets for years. Each big school has a huge and constantly growning fan base when you take in alumni, new students, parents, fans, etc. Everyone loves LEGO, even those who don't buy it normally, but when you throw in a passion like sports or school spirit you give them a reason to buy, and for an inflated price. On top of that there are companies that fulfill large retailers' online sports shops that carry everything in large quantities. Plus wholesalers of this stuff for all the mom and pop fan shops out there.

How about some Friends sets? I skipped the superheros and went with Friends instead for all the new stuff like knives and forks and some different colors for MOCs. Plus you get cool looking little animals and the hair is great. I like to put Stephanie's hair on a bearded minifig, it makes him look like a pro wrestler with a bleach blonde mullet.
