  1. That's really great work, I love them all!
  2. Looks great so far! You're combining my two favorite hobbies of paper models and LEGO.
  3. My oh my! That is absolutely wonderful!
  4. I don't think LEGO will do MLP, but if MLP hits 10K on CUUSOO, Hasbro might. They might even do it if it doesn't. Especially with the LEGO Friends and the Megablocks Hello Kitty sets out there, they can already piggyback on the brick compatibility and colors in two other girl themes and have these things out making money in every Walmart and Target in the country. Not to mention the rest of the world. You've already got MLP "CMF"s in stores, why not make them building block compatible and sell some bricks along with them?
  5. I'm very impressed! You've given us some really nice pictures and a lot of great ideas. I especially like your tile roofs!
  6. I love the interior vignettes. Just a really great job!
  7. This is a great job! I used to ride the HK buses every day and I love seeing MOCs of them!
  8. That's a good point, and nope, I'd never heard of them. I bet you're right and they did get some donations this way. Hmm, now I know what to do if I lose my job, I'll just need to find something to become indignant about
  9. Cool, yours looks much better than the set. That clock sticking out just bugs me!
  10. That's just amazing. One of the coolest things I've ever seen.
  11. Well, I'm coming at this from a different angle now. I'm a middle age guy with no kids, but I now have all of the Friends sets including the poly bags, and I love them! I built them all and have now taken them all apart to try and make a Friends modular beauty shop or maybe a restaurant. While sorting, I've found there really isn't a lot of pink, more tan and white by far. But now my problem is there aren't enough male figures!! I think I've got 22 girls and only one guy. I hope they release some more guys, and I wish they'd give them that rubbery hair the girls get. Poor Peter...
  12. That is really cool. Brings back memories of the house I grew up in with it's coal room and chute in the basement.
  13. A modular train station would be great!! I hope the next train LEGO does is the Darjeeling and Himalayan Toy Train. Won't happen, but I think it would be really cool.
  14. Awesome work! I love double deck buses and you did a great job on this one.
  15. The nostalgia line with the old 4.5 volt is actually a really cool idea! I think you should keep them and do that.
  16. 13) 4 points 15) 3 points
  17. I'm not sure it's just more money. It allows them to do the buy one get one 50% off sales, give you points if you are a club member and still make a profit. If you wait for those and buy things of equal value for your 50% off item(s) you can come out ahead of Walmart or Lego Store prices (even including Lego Store's points). Although I still normally buy at the Lego store, they have a better selection and it's fun to buy from people who really like Lego
  18. I didn't even know about this one until today, but I'd definitely buy it. It's a great looking MOC and would really add to the modular line. I added my support to Cuusoo.
  19. Very cool! I love what you're doing for these dolls, the lifestyle change is dramatic
  20. That's a great looking bus. You should try a double decker one day.
  21. This is my favorite MOC today, great job!
  22. I really like this one a lot. Thanks for posting the pictures!
  23. You're interiors are excellent. The treadmills really caught my eye!
  24. That's a great job! I love the cobblestone street.
  25. I was just at Walmart at lunch and looked at Lego sets of course. I went over to the girl's aisle and almost all the Friends sets were sold out, but I'm realizing there are a lot of new animals in those sets. They even have a hedge hog! The series seems to be doing well and they've done a vet, a dog wash, a dog show and a pet patrol in the first batch of releases. Little girls love animals at least from my experience and I bet we do see a zoo within a year or two, but I think it will come out in Friends. Even if they are cartoony, I'll use them. It's not like mini-figs are realistic!
