  1. is it possible to know whether you can see tire dimensions on your images? Not asking for images, just for information
  2. Here is one extra post about philosophy; how can you recognize philosophy student? Put halfway full glass of water in front of him / her. Then student will start to philosophy wether glass is halfway full or halfway empty and die of thirst.
  3. I was C++, C#, Delphi... developer, but last 15 years I work in education and mainly teaching software development but for web based applications (php with MySQL database, JavaScript, some python ...) I'm passionate about cars; most classic or some custom. Motorbikes, since partisans took away my grandfather's Zundapps I never got back to them. Currently I work on bodywork on my everyday car (removing surface rust and preparing for painting if weather will allow me...) Kind regards
  4. @syclone, I have spent some 10 years on software development (mostly for industry or banks ) and when you said that "we cannot test how / if mechanism works" you know you could not be more right; in real world only mechanical systems work can be predicted with certainty that you can relay on...
  5. Now I know why you like tractors (I have similar CV and I even dislike where automotive industry is going with all those adds and you can not fix anything by yourself). I always prefer to feel with own hands and everything you do you have to develop feeling (that is why education has all those problems since 1960s in western world and since 2000 in my country; we have packs of "politically correct" professors who know everything about every subject in theory but in real life they are unable to properly screw a bolt). The same thing here without real bricks it is hard to develop proper MOC. So IMHO ldd is only good to roughly found out what bricks are missing for your project.
  6. Actually you managed that ugly beast looks nice in Lego
  7. @Rudivdk just read my mind, so bring those forums back together
  8. I have found several unique parts with extreme prices like red 5 x 7 frames that were testing parts or similar; they got out Lego under questionable circumstances...
  9. I saw just this on on sale on bricklink and when I saw the price I almost got a heart attack https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=56908#T=S&C=5&O={"color":5,"iconly":0}
  10. Thanks buddy; I have realized that building at this scale (1:18) Unimog uses minimal amount of parts; doesn't have to add lengths etc to make it stiffer just one beam 6 x 4 bent per side at front and rear. Next one that I work on is also manual with few frames as base despite only 15 studs chassis width... to be continued...
  11. Finally first attachment is finished (rear is a little bulky) and drivers door is better now. From tomorrow another project will be continued...
  12. I think it is pin 3L because there is a plate between them...
  13. Part 65414 with red gear should fit, but it works with 12 tooth double bevel gear, not 20 tooth
  14. I was calculating to fit biggest technic sprocket wheel
  15. and now make this in 1:20,5 scale and you'll get new flagship
  16. I think this should be new standard
  17. I agree completely with @Jundis and envy you a little bit on 2 things: - time and - BuWIZZ
