If you want classic dune / beach buggy rear suspension (based on Beatle) it has rear trailing arms with only one universal joint near differential; similar to 8860 set rear suspension)...but honestly I don't know how to make it without falling apart...I know how to suspension for some tractors or trucks, but maybee @Zerobricks has some ideas. Usually he comes up with interesting suspension ideas... -

Whenever I see ZIL inspired MOC, I think about this one. What I'm mostly impressed are cab lines that I find very good accomplished. -

I saw your Kodiak a while ago, but I also need 11L gearrack length based steering... My initial plan was to use 7 x 7 suspension arm from McLaren, but I had to reinforce it because it bending under weight... My problem is that I need 3 studs wide part of chassis / axle so CLAAS tires will not hit anything to have decent steering angle -

Problem is that my mobile phone scales it (visually) so I see two of them on screen one above another + text and web browser frame - all together under 3800 resolution (vertical)... Asap I'll make another photos and upload them to mt brickshelf folder...and probably landscape photos brickshelf cuts...- 625 replies

I know it is a bit wider...but stud lower...it is a problem to fit if servo is in up position...perhaps I'll make kind of swinging servo... ...i have used this 6571 part because new 3 studs suspension arms were on the way at the moment... ...and I use CLAAS tires on that axle...so there are some differences -

I also look for as compact as possible solution...I'll see when I'll have hour or two time to post it in my topic and we can compare them...If your is one studs lower than I have solution for my problem...because of slack in CV or universal joints on 4 steering model aftont and rear axle are not allign after some time... -

Nico, I made similar axle for my upcoming project with CLAAS tires and it worked with daytona differentials, they are just fit inside curvature of PF servo motor, but lower suspension part should not be angled, but straight (I use Unimog uirque tube and 2 black 5 x 7 liftarms)... But your idea us also great -

This one? ...or this? ...or was it smaller scale model? -
When discussing with friends that bought Zetros , 42099 and Audi to their kids, it seems like PF large motor was a bit better than large and XL PU motors. Yes PF XL and buggy are much better; buggy motor is even better solution than coupled XL motors. And as time goes by more and more people lack simple physical controller - to connect wires and play (not plug & play with your nerves)
-
I have all Lego PF motors and no 3P (I won't considder CADA Dominator because set is assembled and not canibalized for parts). Since I have no PU parts (the only - controlled via mobile device solution that I accept is BuWizz, but in that case in my experience with IR receivers on it PF Servo works smoother than over mobile phone), I start to think about 3P like buggy / BuWizz motor...or some proportional servo if I would not be able to fix my 5 servos with wire issues during advent...

Screwy Wabbit is the guilty one... Nice that you finish the G wagen buddy. -
Extraordinary build, just fascinating how you manage to squeeze all that electronic in such tight space.
