  1. Perhaps some advance technique using frames could do the trick?
  2. It would be in scale with RTC (every day I pass one twice) and just for info it has tires with 1.85m in diameter like most if RTC. @Ngoc Nguyen Xerion has 2.15m tires... so RTC, Xerion and Anthem are roughly the same scale.
  3. I know, just my version will be a bit bigger to fit inverted V12 engine with typical fake engine elements made by TLC...
  4. Silver arrows from 1930 have (usually) V12 at the front, but with limited amount of panels I do not think how much more realistic you can make
  5. that is why i'm thinking of this one for longer period of time...
  6. @Rudivdk first of all I can say that I'm sorry to here that you had car accident (I know the feeling; I had accident 6 years ago due to brake failure on my car due to car coach workers envy that my wife is ex.model and he is drinker...) with ~~ 50mph direct impact and lots of financial consequences... what I'm glad is that your model won first price...now you are tempting me to make same single engine smaller war-bird with smallest propeller and to steal some of your ideas...but I have only few light bluish gray panels and several yellow (red is IMHO more for show plane or acrobatic plane) Regards
  7. @gregorski904 I can say just one word - beautiful It is a proof how just one small detail can make huge difference
  8. Dump bed looks very good . At least someone is not stuck in his projects and that is very nice to see it develop...
  9. Very nice rough terrain (Mack Anthem size) tow truck
  10. Agree with real life; real truck that transport cars have 22.5" tires and cars have tires with some 70% of truck tire size
  11. Perhaps here you can find some inspiration
  12. that is more likely...and then when you at least expect you found out that you need few extra...
  13. Trust me there is never enough of LEGO parts
  14. Perhaps tracked truck will go nicely along Arocs...and there are cool tracked dump trucks
  15. Little update; axle is finished, but steering system is IMHO very wobbly. When I sort all other parts needed for second axle I will see how it behaves when I connect them to chassis to test steering and suspension under weight... (I have used hubs from Xerion as @jorgeopesi suggested)
  16. Before several years I had complications to build desired model due to missing appropriate colors, but gave learned that if you can not build it this moment, there is something even better on its way...my example: for years I wanted to make particular John Deere tractor with independent suspension and everything I tried ended to wide or to flimsy...and in 2016 LEGO made Xerion with (finally) proper tractor tires and ended up with Fastrac that even (someone like) me got pleasantly surprised as it turned out. Point is that cut, painted...parts can not be used for another model and perhaps you should have tried to build it in another color before you plan to cut it...it looks that you made clean cut but I am not going to make "my" parts anymore...
  17. You can use wheel futuristic 70 * 28 for zero offset with 94.8 tires, but you can not use hubs Bf definition it depends primary on wheel but you can add parts like wedge belt wheels inside Porsche hub to have wheel with negative offset
  18. I had the same problem over and over again and (to) wide LEGO tires are not helping...
  19. That depends on offset. Currently 56 X 34 wheel has 1 stud negative offset and (I think) Porsche wheel has positive offset... Short explanation can be read here https://www.lesschwab.com/article/what-is-wheel-offset.html
  20. Today my obligations allowed me to spent few hours on Syn-trac project, so I could implement wheel hubs and make proper suspension. Tomorrow I need (something like) fine adjustments to steering system and first axle (which could be both front or rear because it is completely the same) is done. Images are here (width in level of shaft is 21 studs) Sorry for bad photo quality
  21. @suffocation that could actually be the solution, but if I remember correctly there were discussing about new hubs with reduction?!?...so instead if portal axle hub we get those new hubs?
  22. Not that much, but can make them w bit better and since complete axle is red I assume that it uses red shocks with hard spring like Porsche set 42056. Of course images are not as on CSI but as you correctly mentioned I'm also thinking like you and it looks to me like there is usage of double bent liftarms due to length and thickness of axle or could be some new part like (for example) frame in Liebherr
