  1. He should grow up and stop hating and find some other amusement
  2. So how to make it 3 studs narrow and hide motor inside panels?
  3. Agree Mack is impressive indeed, boh in size and as detailed MOC
  4. Your truck is impressive indeed. So far I have managed to make proper rear tandem tires; if you remembered solution with 43.2 rim that I have emailed you a while back, but front wheels cause me a problem because I do not have another pair of 68.8 x 24 wheels... My idea was to make something like your M.A.N. hook loader truck, but my version would probably be Volvo or Scania...
  5. OK, but you have to learn that if you have to complain on something you have to be in position to make it better to prove that it is possible and nut just to say this is wrong, or that is wrong... BTW good luck with your MOC
  6. and did you show him your solution prototype to have acceptable stiffness?
  7. So if you are so certain (and you know better), you could give some advice instead of just criticism (due to limitation of LEGO parts, best solution for lower part is with this panels) https://bricksafe.com/files/nathan/lego-reviews/42035-mining-truck/IMG_8907a.jpg
  8. @Yevhen I think the best would be for you to use @Sariel's scaler to see how much does his creation fit real proportions. It is simple as that; sometimes yopu can not make it narrow as you wish due to missing particular dimensions in single Lego Part or parts that can be used...and like everything in life this is compromise, question is just can you live with this compromise or not...but as I say try @Sariel's scaler to see the difference...
  9. Well real machine has "fat" backhoe as you can see
  10. It is good mix of them needed and new style beams, actually beams allow tighter construction and technic bricks allow more stiffness..
  11. That was my thought... It is impressive, but my truck MOC will not be so big despite 1:15 scale...
  12. As I can see you are creating s monster (again); it is really big moc, I assume bigger than Arocs
  13. Mate, this one is the most realistic plane that I have seen so far, despite that I really like @Rudivdk's P-38. You is so smooth and without holes... It is great that you decide to finish this model despite the fact that your project was actually screwed by parts arrival
  14. JCB can be done with other tires like 49.5 or 62.4...like on this one #2 connectors are here
  15. I have found an article about new defender with 5 images (only it is in German...) https://www.motorsport-total.com/auto/news/land-rover-defender-2020-was-wir-ueber-die-neuauflage-wissen-19031304 ...it is about short wheelbase (model 90) and long (model 110). Defender is based on discovery platform and will have inline 4 cylinder gasoline, diesel engines and hybrid...off course they write that model will have same off-road capability as classic which was produced until 2016
  16. It could be done with black also... I won't be spoil sport, but have feeling that gear rack housing is light bluish gray (because we already have it since 2017...)
  17. @Ivan_M that sounds interesting, I was hoping to get some news during Bauma fair...
  18. Yesterday I was just looking on my 42030 in the box (sections are taken apart to fit in box) to see what i can use on my one (of few parallel) projects from 42030. It is actually very realistic set with lots of very nice details. Looking forward to see your improvements
  19. Very nice modular and clean built. This could easily be official set
  20. IMHO it is even to nice to be ever took apart
  21. it looks to me that on truck posted in this post sidewalls are much lower that with panel 11 x 3; perhaps just one beam over panels to gain 2 studs overall height and not 3 studs...
  22. @sirslayerlets say that I know something about Baja 1000; example Robby Gordon (1999 Indy 500 winner) won event in 2006...
