  1. spring type is determined by vehicle weight, so if it will be heavy as Unimog U400 you can expect it (I have the same in my Unimog U400)
  2. Passat could make 200.000 miles I think that motorbike in winter here is not healthier choice...btw perhaps we will get some new motorbike next year
  3. Good choice...I have 2006 Fabia 1.9 SDI with over 400.000km and engine needs less than 2dcl oil per 1000km, so for next 5-10 years I do not think of another everyday car... Just my thoughts, Landy will be similar to discovery...
  4. Something that is using on small and tight places like botanic gardens to transfer rooted plants etc...it is yellow
  5. Try using hubs (despite small turning radius) because under such weight axles will bent I'll wait to see how will it look when can and hood are on schedule because I had to make huge number of changes on my Fastrac to gain appropriate good and cab shape and proportions Regards
  6. My friend we all know about traditional names because tradition is experience that is collected for decades and we think that something never changes...I was also wondered that Volvo cars belong to chinese manufacturer...so I decided to keep my current car until breaks down ...but I steel like classic Landy, somehow I like classis products anyway (only modern machinery are impressive IMHO - great challenge for MOCs) ...as @Saberwing40k notice that I'm old fart
  7. It looks like this question goes to India... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_Rover
  8. @grum64 and I thought that was the reason feet smell ? It could be, but from this spy photos it looks very boxy - excellent choice for LEGO
  9. That reminds me to reduce amount on beans I'll be in summer...
  10. Interesting how we manage to turn 2019 sets topic into 46ers
  11. Samer, we are children of oil crisis (1973) (Of course it is just coincidence, we actually never met in real World, just here in virtual...)
  12. At least were born by yourself as Chuck Norris
  13. @suffocation your small build gave me idea for one of my (desired) projects and yesterday I have made chassis with all wheel drive and all wheel steering using 49.5 tires. Width over tires is some 13 studs and wheelbase is 15 studs, more in the future
  14. that was the first thing that crossed my mind
  15. mathematically yes, but it does not have to be. In the past some numbers were skipped...as you can see here
  16. 385 * 0,65 *2 + 22,5*25,4; but there are tables with exact dimensions; this example was for Continental HS3 tire... you're welcome
  17. No, my parents best man was from Graz (Austria) so I had a chance to enjoy LEGO and learn that in western world there are dozens of (excellent) chocolates at that time Of course there was no regular electricity in Yugoslavia, not to mention LEGO....
  18. Real Arocs has mostly 385/65 R22.5 tires which are 1066mm overall diameter...
  19. What a coincidence, I was 7 in 1980 when I got 851 set
  20. IMHO best way is to compare tires; CLAAS Xerion has 710/85R42 tires (2.15m) and 2150/107 gives some 1:20 Scale and Mack Anthem has some 1016 mm tires and represented with 49.5 tires is roughly 1:20 scale...RTC has 94.3 tires and real one has about 1850mm and here 1850/94.3~~20 (19.7), so it can also fit 1:20 scale...
