  1. Ack, currently I'm working on about ten little projects, they should all be done by 2010 or so *sad* First and foremost is a rather large mideval keep. It spans SLIGHTLY larger than one of those large baseplates. The first floor is inaccessible from the outside, and is more of a basement. It contains an armory with secret room, and two bedrooms. The first floor houses the library, which takes up half of the baseplate, and a large fireplace and den. The entire floor is tiled in black and white. So far this is all I have done. The second floor will house the kitchen and dining room. Fourth and fifth floors will be bedrooms, while the roof will house a small barn for my pegasus, as well as a two or three story watchtower. Secret compartments and rooms abound! X-D After that I will still need to make a landscape for it, but after seeing his technique maybe I can just kidnap Norro and make him do it for me :-P After that is a large SHIP I've been designing for awhile. It's barely been started beyond a few prototype areas that will be implemented. It's meant to be a small battleship, with a unique design I came up with while on a train. Besides that there's a little assault mech that's not much larger than a MF that I have near completion, I just need to finish the torso and arms, but the legs were a real headache! Also working on two opposing fighters, one of which I don't have built but have designed, the other of which I have largely built but no design (don't ask):-D
  2. Pff, "rubbish" indeed. I'm currently trying my hand at some Bionicle/system integration that happens to be red-based, so two of your creations specifically stood out to me. First was your X-02 Glider which was just perfect. I hope you still have that around because I would like to know more about it's construction. Keep in mind I'm a complete newb to Bionicle, so to you the construction might be obvious :-P Even the way it curls up, it looks almost like a real creature! Secondly your BCC Entry 39 is an absolute monster! It looks so solid, I love it! I must know, where do you get your red parts from? Is there a specific set or two that is a treasure trove for red parts like those? Or is there a favorite BL store? Wonderful works
  3. A red mage, eh? :-D Those buggers are good at everything! Excellent as always, except for a magician it seems very empty. Try adding a few scrolls, filling it with books, potions, etc. Right now it looks like an old dude just relaxing in his house ;-) Still a great effect though. I wonder where you got the red hat from
  4. Welcome obnoxious Blog Assistant, I'm obnoxious Justin, nice to meet you :-D Welcome to EB, I hope you'll enjoy it here. Hanging out in the Non-system themes I'd imagine? :-P
  5. Is it just me? I don't see the Christmas banner, and haven't for awhile... *wacko* It's always fun highlighting your text to see what you typed though :-P Edit: Ah, I see what you mean, you use the 2006 skin? Sorry about that X-D
  6. Don't forget the skeleton ;-) Love those babies. Also some more gems, though the golden dish is easily the most appealing aspect
  7. Not bad, I found them for $0.20 each, and ordered 15 :-D If only Black Falcon torsos were that cheap :'-(
  8. This E-bay Auction would probably make most people fall out of their chairs! Just wanted to post this in case any of our members happened across a fortune :-P As for other information my Birthday is Sept 26 and yes I do accept early gifts ;-) :-D
  9. Guys, like I said I hope it was a joke. So let's let it drop, okay? Temporarily closed to prevent this from turning ugly ;-)
  10. Admiral 4J to Lord *vader*: I'm currently at an Imperial Base in the Hoth system refueling my entire fleet since it was all wasted going to Hoth at maximum speed for a rescue of The Kid. Fleet should be ready for departure to Kashyyyk within 3 standard Galactic hours. Though I've dispatched a probe this time to make sure he's really there before I waste more fuel.
  11. Oh my this is turning into a political debate, and those never end well :-D I do believe he was kidding about what he said, or at least I hope so. Let's just assume he was ;-) He can't be serious, he is a Rebel afterall, and Rebel and conservative don't exactly go together :-P So do you have any MOCs?
  12. Yes, I remember l2k showing me that pic, really a nice design. Unfortunately I've been convinced into purchasing some modulex :-P Not a huge variety in parts, but eh
  13. Of course it's not real, Lego would never give us anything that well built :-D 8-| :'-(
  14. This is quite possibly one of the most ingenious, creative, and complex things I've ever seen done with Lego. How long did it take you to build/design? How many pieces are in it? Can you make me one? ;-) Absolutely fantastic. And welcome to EuroBricks! You should introduce yourself over at the introduction forum :-)
  15. Wait, wait, wait, married? Why wasn't there a topic announcing it? X-O Or did I just miss it? Either way, congrats! And what says romantic Honeymoon better than an EB event? ;-) :-P
  16. Well, true humanity has only been around for about 100k years, and we've already almost killed ourselves countless times :-| There are species that have lived for tens of millions of years. Frankly I'd be surprised if we lasted another 1000 years without resetting ourselves to the stone age
  17. Nice use of turntable bottoms too...even if I don't like the MOC so much I'm keeping it to ste-er, remind me of techniques later ;-) :-D
  18. Personally I have a love of nature. That's why it's my favorite subject for my photography. People are fine, but eh, nature is just so much grander and beautiful. I guess it's reflected in the fact that I'm most awed by MOCs that best capture the look of nature. A realistic mountain, a waterfall, etc. Norro did this more beautifully in his most recent work than almost any other MOCist. It looks so natural, you can almost place yourself there, in a real version of it. That to me is the ultimate level a MOCist can attain. I take my interest from nature. Even the unnatural as inspired by nature (twisted vines of hoses and pipes in SHIPs for example)
  19. Oh, I loved that first one. Still have to get around to viewing the others, but for some reason that first film really captured the spirit of stop-motion animation, with innocence, goofy humor, and the spirit of bringing life to the lifeless.
  20. Yes, I think I've seen you, or at least your avatar on CS a few times :-P Welcome to EB, I hope you'll enjoy it here.
  21. OOC: why throw a red herring at your rescue troops? I wasted a lot of fuel going to Hoth >:-( :-P
  22. Thank you for your kind words, My Lord :-P In all seriousness though, that's quite a compliment, thank you :-)
  23. How fantastic that is! I just wish I could get some of my rarer sets to reproduce. I put on sexy music and give them chocolate but so far nothing :'-( Nice addition though :-P
