  1. Well, I'd expect the price per piece to double in chrome, due to the expensive process it has to go through. For a list of all normal prices, you can check the Brickforge link I posted earlier in this topic. Needless to say, if I do buy any, it'll be maybe 1 great helm, and maybe a couple hero swords.
  2. Nope. I own his silver :-P He recently announced over at CC that he'll be coming out with a line of chrome everything. Edit: And an official pieces test: And his own version of C3PO:
  3. You own one? Or are you referring to a pic? I never bought any of his non-medieval pieces. Too busy saving up for his chrome ones :-P
  4. There are two places currently. The first is Brickarms, a site dedicated to modern military Minifig accessories. The second would be Brickforge, formerly known as Armothe and Red Bean. They concentrate on medieval weapons and accessories, but also carry some World War II era custom parts.
  5. For me it was probably winning my first Yellow Castle off ebay awhile ago. It went for about $130, which isn't bad at all for the set. It said they didn't know how complete it was, so naturally I prepared for the worst. Not only did I get the box in great condition, and instructions in mint condition, and all the minifigs it was supposed to come with...but there were about 2 or 3 extra knights (an extra grey helm and an extra black helm IIRC). Also a bunch of accessories (swords, lances, etc) X-D
  6. A small bl order, my last for awhile me thinks. Some caps in rare colors, bunch of trans-clear parts, two black hailberds, some green books, etc.
  7. Exactly. Already posted, topic closed (but thanks anyway) :-)
  8. Except the legs are at 60 degree angles
  9. Each turret had it's own gravity ;-)
  10. Correct. Well, as long as it was a lego shirt :-P
  11. Hi there, pacific493. Maybe you should introduce yourself a bit? I'm sure you'll enjoy EB :-)
  12. I think that he meant on the secondary market, bricklink and such, the price will be higher for first edition, which is definitely true.
  13. Hm, that promotion hasn't been available for years. I'm surprised small shops got any, let alone still use them
  14. Don't laugh so much, I'm actually considering this idea :-$
  15. As shown in my topic, here, I mix my clones with custom troops:
  16. Damnit...I'm not rich, I wish everyone would stop making me want sets :-P Excellent review. And now...unfortunately, I'll need to buy this. *walks away cursing*
  17. I haven't been able to find the link, but you sound like it's up and working?
  18. Just to clarify (even though I think you get the point...I still don't want to mislead anyone), there are only 10,000, randomly distributed. As for which sets, I think it's the summer ones only
  19. It already is ;-)
  20. Yes, or you could (like most people) buy the entire new lineup and not get it at all :-P
  21. Ah, hadn't seen them before. Haven't looked too much at new City beyond the small pictures.
  22. If you look at the picture here you'll notice what appears to be new pieces (at least to me, anyway). What is this piece that connects the bronze droid arms to the body, and the guns to the bronze droid arms. For a second it looked like bley versions of the new gun mold, except they have holes near the butt of the gun. So...any idea? Also, sorry about not inserting a picture, even right-clicking on it won't let you view the image.
  23. I think a MISB First Edition MF could easily go for $5000-10000 US in 10 years
  24. I see you've moved on to higher forms of thievery ;-)
