Does this mean you're going to make an "after" poll to complement this "before" one?

I'm sure you've seen the new arm molds. I'll gladly trade you any of the new ones for the "inferior older ones" though X-D

You're gonna make a wonderful hermit one day :-P

Would you like to see Bionicle expanded into SPACE??
Starwars4J replied to johnsocal's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Pirateghost Space Bionicle Ships? I think you're giving GregF a run for his money :-D It's very creative, but just doesn't seem to flow with the same mystique as the originals. Then again they're going for machine guns so who knows what will happen :-P -
Would you like to see Bionicle expanded into SPACE??
Starwars4J replied to johnsocal's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Sure, just figure out a way to do so without advanced technology and it might not be half bad :-P Except there's nothing to do in space...except explore other planets...which really...yeah, not working so well :-$ -
Just a minor update: It's now the number 1 seller on US S@H

Would you like to see Bionicle expanded into SPACE??
Starwars4J replied to johnsocal's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Yes, but the Jedi weren't introduced as inhabitants of a jungle with absolutely no semblence of technology nor modern society (the technologically advanced lightsabers alone is proof of that) :-P -
Honestly, I think both sides have their place. Like most of life, this issue isn't black or white (or in this case studdy or studless). Castle MOCs in general look better with studs, as they also tend to be simpler builds while maintaining an elegance. Space on the other hand tends to look better studless. This is not to say however that these are absolutes. tiling floors is becoming a common practice in castles these days, as is a new method in space building where the entire thing is covered in studs (to give greater detail). I have seen many creations in space that are all studs and amazing me, while the reverse is true in castles. But more importantly I have seen MOCs that to both and blend to great effect. I think that any creation can look good with studs, or totally studless. It depends on the ingenuity and talent of the builder, to determine the worthiness of the MOC. Ultimately studless vs. studdy is pointless to argue, as it just comes down to personal taste anyway :-P

I never said I was in love with the new Mission Mars theme either :-P It leaves a lot to be desired, and the constant conflict is something that wasn't needed for Classic Space, and I think is still unneeded. If you want to make them fight you can. If you want to make trading allies you can, etc. But the main reason I'm opposed to Bionicle in space is because the whole thing originally started out being a mythological type of adventure. Finding these magical masts that endowed them with special powers. Fighting demons and demi-gods on an island in the middle of nowhere. Metri Nui was a bad move IMO, and making it more technological would bring Bionicle just too far from home for my tastes. Then again nobody said I have the best tastes ;-) -
Brickshelf find: Mini fig scale Milenium Falcon

I saw that a bit ago, and it is impressive. However it needs more dark grey. An impressive feat for something entirely in old grey. Sigh -

No, Norro, I believe you're right about that. Normally they're parallel to the door. And thanks for that pic of the dish, dill. It's a real beauty *wub* -

Starwars4J replied to johnsocal's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Oh god no, I don't even like the direction they're headed while on whatever planet they're on :-P The last thing they need is to get more technological. And moved to the correct forum -
I'm just annoyed that the cockpit is completely sealed off from the body...just like in every other rendition of the MF |-/

Why Are The 2007 SW Theme UK/Europe Prices So High?
Starwars4J replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Another reason I'm all for the next EB get-together to be in the US X-D -
It's not my say, but I think SW tags would be a bit much. I mean then we'd need tags for everyone's favorite theme, and it gets a little crazy *wacko* SW takes place in Space, I consider it a part of my space tag anyway :-P

We were mainly just kidding around, Thrawn, it's not that inappropriate :-P But thanks for posting the link And in Valentines news, I had to shoot down one of my best female friends coming over here to eat dinner with me because I have so much work :-( Developmental Biology Lab due tomorrow, Physics Exam on Friday, Developmental Biology Exam on Monday...

Starwars4J replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Even still, taxes don't make THAT big of a difference...I'm just glad I live in the US :-P -
Yes, the Kirby one ;-) Though Miriam got a real kick out of it :-D

Nah, nothing so far, though I did make two women's day by showing them this: There was another one, but I'm not sure how...appropriate it is >:-)

Absolutely fantastic designs as always. Your talent for this always makes me jealous ;-)

yeah, they're exactly like the skelly arms. I wish they were bent though, I mean who holds their arms out so stiff? Even droids :-P
-
I haven't personally, but they're a big site. Quality is at least as high as official Lego pieces, if not higher. And they're very reliable. You can always contact the owner if you have specific questions or problems. And while I'm not much into conventional weapons, I might end up buying a gun or two..

Thanks 007. The SI? That piece o-er, I mean even better parts pack now? Meh, at least I won't feel as bad for buying it now :-P

I'm bad with set numbers :-$ Is it safe to assume those are: MTT JSF w. HD ring N1 fighter?
