[SoNE V] - Preparing for the Mission - Hangar 29
Nom Carver replied to goatman461's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
The "shameless" sounds like it is intended to go against me, the ashamed tree lover , it certainly looks menacing and makes a more Endor related element vital to this challenge, and that shuttle is an absolute plus, this time the empire is going to win for sure (I hope). -

Thanks for your comments guys, I will improve my technique but this challenge proved to aim towards my weakest spot. -

This is so amazing!!! , it really puts you into the perspective of those guys (I mean you ofcourse), the details all over the walls look great and those vehicles are pure genius, are you and Marcus competing against each other? because one always tops the other and so on, I dont know but keep it up going, I wonder what takes so long to the judges to score these creations. -
That is one wierd vehicle, especially because the stormtroopers are suposed to be carried like that, it is pretty accurate but I think you could use some creative licence here, nice job .
-
No it isn't! now go back to work ST-D15C0, they need you on sentry duty .
-
Those TIEs look great in red! my only complaint are those fins on the wings(?), I know they are there for accuracy but I personally dont like them in the original vehicle, and that gate is really menacing, you got the shape of the robed sculptures very nicely but their body seems a little small, I would recomend extending it a little to the bottom.
-
Nice try on your little walker, I would suggest to beef it up a little bit, some plates to protect the crew and more details and adding some complexity and details on the legs should do good.
-
As long as his status is M.I.A. and not K.I.A. he should be arround, if I managed to escape she should have done so too, I will not be satisfied untill I see her burning remains , seriously your creations have been some of the most amazing around, I hope you will come back but if you dont, you will always be remembered as a worthy warrior among rebels and imperials alike, oh, and those little builds look great too , Ninja Nin keeps kicking @$$ after death.

[SoNE Episode V] Ashamed of the empire

Thanks BEAVeR, those ideas are quite good, I may give a try on those tips you mentioned on my next build because this one has been just disassembled, I will keep in mind the tan in the chopped trees and the slopes for the roots, and regarding to those ground patches, they are an absolute fail (I ran out of green plates). -

Thanks VK, I would really like to be rotated from my current service, "I have a bad feeling about this", and wood is no longer a useful resource, its barely used to make some very fancy and outdated furniture (unless you are a wookie), regarding to the dirt patches, I hoped no one noticed them . Thanks Lobot, I would like to keep trying to emulate natural environments, they are far more challenging, that is what makes our objective more challenging. -

Thanks lego3364, this is my first try on organic/natural structures, and since I have very few brown and green bricks, this was the best I could come up with, thats the problem when you collect only SW vehicles to provide your bricks (lots of grey ). -
"After barely surviving the battle at Sollust, I was reassigned to a secret location, a forest moon on the outer rim, our mission; brining down the trees to make space for some kind of shield generators, I have made many things that I am not proud of but defiling this sanctuary is the one that I am most ashamed, you may say that the life of a rebel isnt too different from that of a tree but I say these trees would harm nobody and the empire should keep its business away from primitive and beautifull places like this in order to avoid disturbing its inhabitants or interfere in their development and evolution, I have never seen one of them, I guess they are afraid but I think they are lurking in the bushes, some times at night, I look through my NVGs and see that we are surounded by hundreds of eyes, are they seing us with fear or are they waiting to attack?" I see, it was because of the link, I thought it was the same video than the first one.

I see no new droid.

Thats a nifty little vehicle, it looks really nice, especially with the turret.

I am glad you are on our side, i say that because of your shooting skills, nothing else . -
ItΒ΄s good enough for its times and good for SW video game standards.
-
The details on the walls look great, this reminds me of the Republic Commando video game.
-
Keep doing so, star wars is more like space fantasy than science fiction, which does not mean that I am not a big fan of the second.
-
That room looks amazing, especially with the planet on the back ground.

Some extra trees around would help but it certainly looks like the bunker under construction, and deep linked images are also usefull . -

Those vehicles look great and the hangar details are amazing too, you have been improving on your building skills a lot. -
Nicely done "lego3364", the posing of the figs looks great and those L bar pieces give a whole different feel to the bridge.
