I'll look for it there, and hopefully meet the builder. -
The updated version looks quite sturdy indeed. The windows here are really cool.

And our nice fetid swamps. (Still around and prowling, but focused on some Brickworld stuff.) -
Is it in Eddard Stark contrast to the Iron Throne? Sorry, that sentence in your description made me think of the pun. Nicely done!

Wow, great little vignette! The yellow flowers add a really nice bit of color, and the base is quite well done as well. Glad you're back in action!

[MOC] The Wyrm Fortress atop Mt.Mitgard
Hyler Talliwell replied to Erikur's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wow, really cool! Thye wooden parts work really nicely along with the stone parts, and the wyrm skull looks fantastic. I can't wait to see what else you build for the Guilds. -

I always did think that I could catch the scent of elderberries hovering around you. Perchance it came from your father. -
Hmmm, first of all, the wall looks great now. The haphazard look of the wooden part works perfectly. Now, do you have any more goblins? I think the moc would look much better with many more evildoers (who happen to look a lot like some of my loyal Nocturnians) on the outside. Also, do you plan on this being the last, middle, or first of the three or more builds?Just remember that challenge 6 requires a story. Great job so far though! Also, I would like to see a bit more variation in ground height. a few more plates creating an elevation rise could help out a lot. Don't disperse the grass as randomly, try to put them in more of a few clumps, with many barren patches. And lastly (unless I think of something else) do you have the parts to build some type of small siege engine, such a s a battering ram? It could make the scene if done well, and take up some needed space.

For lunch... I hear the Kaliphlin taste better in the summer, when they are have cooked by the sun. But that may just be a rumor. Either way, my dragon won't mind. -

Oh, well then never mind, I must be mistaken. I don't leave the swamp very often, so geography is not my strong suit. -

Challenge 6 is going on. You can read about it at the bottom of this page along with all of the other challenges and the HIstorica story so far: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=62242 Here is the map. Most have there land staked out, but I doubt they would mind you joining their area. S'dak'l'vil'th at least wouldn't. However, it is a swamp. :) Nocturnus starts east of the Kelra Labyrinth. http://farm8.staticf...0bfb1ce91_b.jpg -
The vines help, but maybe you could put some rounds or plates in the wall to break up all of the grey. Great start so far!

Guilds of Historica Character Location and Facts
Hyler Talliwell replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
S'dak'l'vil'th ~Currently: Amassing an army of allies from the four guilds to stave off the evil of Revolword. ~Background: S'dak'l'vil'th is an Illithid wizard of great power who lives in the far Eastern reaches of Nocturnus. Although he has few men to follow him into battle, S'dak'l'vil'th is easily capable of holding his own. He has some guards and slaves of varying races living under his power deep at his tower in the swamp realm, but if Historica comes to war, S'dak'l'vil'th's magic is worth much more than his few guards. Loyal to Lord Ssilyrrlith for the time being, S'dak'l'vil'th will prove to be a cunning and fearsome weapon in the war that may soon come. -

We'll see if I get involved. I still lurk around the forums, but lately I have not had a ton of build gusto. Maybe this will get me back into things. -

Ooh, Brickworld. I should get to work on that. -
Very cool! Wall is really well done. There is just enough detail to make it interesting, but not too fancy to be unrealistic. The battering ram is also a really nice size, and looks quite efficient. Great work as usual, Soccerkid!

Man, you guys are putting us original Nocturnians to shame. I really need to build some stuff. Great work here, the idea fits perfectly in Nocturnus.
-
Great work here. The scene could come from any countryside and shows off the leisurely Historica ways well. As for the pipe, would one of these in black work? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=424

Simply beautiful. It is a perfect mixture of graceful elvish architecture and strong defensive measures. The tree is a fantastic touch, and the small rock outcrop looks great too. WOnderful work.

This is such an incredible build. Everything looks wondrous, especially how the gate fits perfectly with the rock. However, I wonder how it would have looked to have the gate be the same color of the rock?
