  1. May your day be filled with friends, family, and most importantly of all- an infinite supply of LEGO! -Tarfful
  2. If you guys like these, you should check out his other work. Not if you know where to look. (Link provided above.) Nope, all of Wuzzupbob's helmets are custom castings. The only major visible flaw is the color of the helmet itself, which if you look at closely is slightly cleaner looking then TLG's white. -Tarfful
  3. Hey guys, I don't know if this is news for all of you or not, but StarWars.com has posted a brand new trailer for SW:TFU! Since I can't embed the trailer directly into this post, you'll just have to settle for a link. (And yes, I know the link takes you to YouTube. I just thought it was an easier web page to link to. ) The attention to detail, great voice-acting, and realistic looking combat just push this game to a whole new level. Plus there are loads of new characters, soldier classes, vehicles, and environments. It's almost as if they intended to make a movie, but somehow ended up making a game instead. This just might be the best game of the decade... -Tarfful, who thinks Sep. 16th can't come fast enough!
  4. Great first MOC, I especially like all the greebles. My favorite being the clever use of the pan. The general shape reminds me of a boat, this is not a bad thing but it's not great either. I think that if you thinned the shape out and added wings of some sort it would look a lot less like a flying boat and more like a hover/space craft. Other than that you have a great MOC on your hands, I can't wait to see more of your work! -Tarfful
  5. Ahhh, you can almost taste the nostalgia... A great review and an even better set, you get a five from me! -Tarfful
  6. 65% Target 15% KMart 10%Toy R' Us 10% TLG I hope that adds up to 100%. -Tarfful
  7. An impressive start to whats shaping up to be an imposing army! Keep thickening your ranks! -Tarfful, who just stepped into a whole new world.
  8. Spot on svelte_corps, that is indeed where I got the pic from. Your conclusion as to why it looks like he got it directly from TLG seems to be fairly accurate, and I think quite possibly correct. On a related note, today I begin my hunt for the First Wave! -Tarfful
  9. That is the first LEGO vid in a while that has actually made me go "Wow!". The music and all the little visual gags just made the video a pleasure to watch. Kudos to the maker of the movie, and a big thank you to Hotshot for sharing it with us. -Tarfful
  10. Great job on your fun and wacky creation, Jessica! The seemingly randomness of the choice of figs really adds a kind of Time Cruisers feel to the creation. Witch is by no means a bad thing. The photography is wonderful in the way it captures the feel of the scene, the facial expression of the Unfortunate Knight is priceless. The only things that I think you could work on are: 1. Get some (LEGO) scenery into the MOC, some sand dunes and a beach with some tropical foliage would match the palm trees in the background perfectly. 2. Although not that big of a deal, I think that if you introduced the Unfortunate Knight's real name at the beginning of the story it would have more of an impact on the feel of the MOC and add a greater sense of irony to the story. Oh, and one more thing, make an avatar! (No member is complete without one.) -Tarfful EDIT: I rephrased some of my sentences, and took the off-topic comment out.

  13. I just noticed that you said you liked the new Death Star set coming out (10188), that's a start. You should check out some of the other new SW sets coming out, they are simply amazing. Here's a link to show you what I mean- Linky. And yes, I know I'm a shameless SW eulogizer. Apparently not. -Tarfful
  14. Welcome to EB, Lord Doom. I pray that you do not (fully) recover from your sudden amnesia, so that you are not able to remember your plan to reap utter havoc; and as your name suggest doom! -Tarfful
  15. Hello and welcome, Bob, to EuroBricks! I hope you'll enjoy your time here with us. It's always great to have yet another fellow SW fan on the boards! What line do you like most PT (Prequel Trilogy), OT (Original Trilogy), or EU (Expanded Universe)? Or, do you like them all equally and unbiasedly? -Tarfful
  16. Hello and welcome, MoWo, to this wonderful site we call EuroBricks! I have one slight problem with your "Best Theme Line-up", Star Wars should always, ALWAYS, be at the top! The proper list should read as follows: 1. Star Wars 2. Star Wars 3. Star Wars 4. Star Wars 5. Indiana Jones nah, Star Wars! Anyways, I hope you enjoy your stay here with us. -Tarfful
  17. Sounds good to me. Would your interpretation of "Space" happen to include Star Wars? -Tarfful

On a related note, what version of the MF did you have, 4504 or 7190? Once again welcome to EB. -Tarfful
  20. Hello and welcome Lady Kay, I think you'll find that these boards are most accommodating. It's always nice to see couples interested in the same hobby, even if one is slightly more interested. How dare you insult our new member, shame on you Captain! Everyone knows that I have first dibs on insulting new members. Also, don't we all walk with the aid of our limbs? (I think you mean limp.) -Tarfful, who has severe EAD (Emoticon Addiction Disorder). <-- (Evidence.)
  21. Hello and welcome Dave, I hope (and think) you will enjoy your stay here with us. I have a question about your avatar- what was the inspiration for the fig? -Tarfful
