The pictures aren't much of an issue for me - is it a possibility that the pictures load faster if you've already loaded them before? I feel like that's the case.

An armored dwarf with a formidable-looking ax. And a middle-aged dark-skinned man with a wizened appearance. "Well, then... ehem... Hello everyone, I am Hybros. I suppose we must begin right away. I suggest we make our way to the intermediate areas of the Fields right away to build up our Glory Points, then come back to the easier locations and complete the farmer's challenges. So that would make the Corn Maze or Apple Orchard good places to start, eheh. Does this sound good to everyone? Ehehm..."

Hybros looked at his name under the party chosen to fight in the Fields of Glory. "Party Leader again..." he mumbled. At least Guts wouldn't be there this time to scrutinize his orders. "Clerics last... knights first... or should I go first? Hmm..." As he debated the battle order in his head, he noticed that he didn't recognize any of the other heroes' names on the list. He looked around, clueless as to what they might look like.

Just so everyone going to or planning on going to the Fields, I intend to leave as soon as either Scuba or Sandy (or someone else...?) posts a new quest or as soon as Elphaba comes. I think that's agreeable, since there really isn't anything else to do at the moment but kill time. I would encourage you to come along and show off some Dragoon strength, swils!

Hybros wakes from a daze, dreaming of where his plans would take him next. The time for action would come soon, but for now there was nothing to do but kill time. He walked over to the Questboard and signed up for the Fields of Glory.

I hadn't even considered that. I guess 50 extra WP wouldn't hurt.

Anything to clear out some of the heroes in the Hall right now, honestly. I know I just got back, but I'm already itching for more. It seems like there are a lot of heroes and no new quests.

You can check the Treasury for item effects. Basically it summons an elemental jinn for one battle, three uses.

I really like it. I still loved Jun's SHIELD skill (damage=difference between two targets' health), but Slice and Dice is cool as well. I could definitely see Hybros taking that route if he ever gets tired of Insta-killing,
