I suppose you're right. I am by no means an expert at Bionicle, I can only remember the Rahkshi and before. I remember seeing all of these shooting mechanisms, specialized weapons ans parts, and even light-up parts... I just think Bionicle lost it's charm after that.

Thank you. I meant all of the little gimmicks they have to throw in with the new Bionicle. Back in the day, arms moving up and down were all the charm of the Bioncile sets. Now, with the specialized shoots and moving parts, and all of the specialized weapons and armor... it's just too much.

Those are great, thanks Forresto! I did think of using Henry Jones' Sr. torso, but some might argue that it's too modern. The one in the middle is perfect, though.

Hmm... these look like an explosion of KK2, Ben 10, and Bionicle. Terrible themes to begin with, IMO (Bionicle after 2003), so mixing them was... bad, to say it nicely. I would really appreciate a line where you build figures like these, except without all the specialized parts and play features. So pretty much Bionicle 2000-2003.

(Sorry it took so long to reply). I meant your desert layout in the Licensed forum, with the ruins and train tracks. It looks like you used a lot of tan parts here, so I thought you took apart your desert layout.

There was a discussion about this a while back (can't find it...). I think that the reason is still unknown why some of the flags have "inverted" bends compared to the others, but most people speculated that it was an error in the mold, or the mold got flipped around somehow.

Of course it's a clue, young man. I'll hold on to it for now if you don't mind, save it for when the occasion presents itself. Hmhmm.

Hey folks, I recently got into Victorian times and styles, and I was thinking of doing a MOC or two based on this time era. However, I can't seem to get a good idea of what sort of minifigs to use, particularly torsos. I was thinking of some Castle figures, but most of them are either military dress or not in the style I need (a peasants robe, for example). So I was wondering what torsos could be accepted as "Victorian". Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Bad news... Unfortunately, I can't go this year... I just found out that I'll be traveling starting Friday the 18th of June, and I can't go on Thursday, either. Man, this really sucks, I was looking forward to meeting all of you in person for the first time and seeing all those amazing MOCs... Why can't BW be scheduled around my life? I would say I'm hoping to come next year if I wanted to jinx it. I hope that everyone else has a blast, remember to tell how it went once you get back!
