  1. Little do they know, by picking the toaster tag you're also admitted into the official toaster salesmen club. Don't ask me how I know that. Congrats to the winners!
  2. This episode was "meh" for me. It had it's moments but I also have a lot of complaints for it. Have you seen Episode II? Where do you think they come from? Agreed. One could argue that he slowly develops into a cold-blooded killer by the time of the OT, but that's just BS for me. He didn't actually cry when Jango died, but what unaltered clone wouldn't mourn his father's death? Anyway what we saw in this episode was a completely different character than in Episode II, or the OT for that matter. I also didn't like how childish and "humanized" the cadets were. They're not supposed to be nervous (when they're called on for target practice). I thought they were supposed to follow orders without question. And really, arranging a tour with two of the most important Jedi? I didn't know Windu and Skywalker had time for that when they're supposed to be fighting on the front lines. Oh well, plot holes, plot holes. Or minds, for that matter. I kept thinking that he would've sensed mischief in Boba or even recognized him, but I guess that would've made for a less interesting episode. One of the worst episodes yet, IMO. Oh, by the way, did anyone notice that the smarter cadet was named Jax? I wonder if it relates to a character further on the timeline in the SWU. Or EB member Palin Jax, who based his name off of a SW character, I believe.
  3. I've never really been scared of most horror films. Maybe a few, but to me they're just really bad movies in general, and some are even laughable. What do scare me are movies not really considered horror, but different phenomena, or something like that. "The Knowing" was definitely one of them, I was looking over my shoulder constantly for weeks after seeing that. I also recently watched the Marble Hornets videos on YouTube. If you don't know what the Slender Man is, just watch them first and research after. Some of the concepts were pretty dumb, but I was scared nonetheless. (Just click the video and follow the entries).
  4. I liked "Welcome to the Black Parade" (the album) a lot, but this I'm not so sure about. Maybe I've just heard it too many times on the radio, but I don't like their new stuff as much. I've only liked a few of Green Day's songs, mostly from "Dookie", but this is a pretty good song that I haven't heard before. I like the beginning. I'm listening to Tool right now. IMO they're a band with real talent. They often play in uneven time (3/4, 7/8, etc.), and they're lyrics have pretty deep meaning. Not to mention they're videos are just captivating. Enough talking, watch for yourself:

  6. Allow me to add one more thing, even though the hospitalized Seantor said not to. In case it wasn't clear, I was planning on voting for Sandy. Unfortunately I dozed off... er, meditated for too long.
  7. Love them! They're all very nice, but I like this one the best: "I... hurt myself today...." Now I have to try this new Lego trend.
  8. If that were true, I would think he would've just laid low up until now. But no, he's been incredibly indecisive about giving out information. If he really was scum, he wouldn't have exposed himself like he has numerous times already (even on Day 1 he did this). I am convinced, for now, that he is neutral and finds it easier to eliminate the scum than the townies. And rightfully so, since apparently there were only the two Godfathers to begin with, meaning even with conversions the town greatly outnumbers the mafias. For now, that is my theory. If Sandy is voted out today, and she turns out to be town, then obviously Stash was lying and we will have found ourselves another mafia member or at least an impartial that is against the town.
  9. Indeed. I am not the protector, but I know who is, and it was not Sandy who we saw protecting Stash on Night 3 when his life was on the line. And as for investigation, not many of you know this, but Godfathers are immune to such actions. Meaning, they always appear as innocent to any investigator. Keeping her alive another night will only allow for another kill and a conversion. I am convinced, because Stash, like the other bold accusations, would not throw his life on the line if he knew Sandy was innocent. If she was, then he would know that the mob would be knocking at his door the next day.
  10. Well, hoorah that we killed a Godfather, that means no more conversions for the Fedelinis (I think). However, it's too bad we lost another pair of loyal townies... we need to be extra careful in these coming nights if we are to survive. Also, can anyone make any sense of what happened last night? From what I can gather, James Nutter's death was not normal, at least that's what I think based on his appearance early in the night. Why would it matter that he sat down to watch TV? Does this mean he chose not to use a night action, or maybe was too late? And more importantly, what was Alice doing talking to him? Yes, he was her son, and my condolences, Mrs. Nutter, but there has to be another reason you tried to seek him last night. Can anyone (Stash...) shed some light on what happened?
  11. Well now that I've finally been able to catch up on the half of Season 2 that I missed, I can finally read these. I like them a lot, especially when there's background information (I checked here to see if that really was Mon Mothma). As for the show itself, I know it bothers a lot of people about the plot holes and whatever else is wrong with the show, but come on, it's a kids show. I usually don't notice some of the smaller details, such as appearance discrepancies, and I find the show entertaining for what it is. The only thing I don't like, as has been mentioned before, is the less action-y episodes (specifically the Padme-centric ones). They just don't fit in, and are not very exciting. The real-world references are somewhat annoying as well. If anything, the show has kept the LSW alive, and I do like some of the new or sort of unknown EU vehicles and characters the show brings.
  12. Congrats cralegoboy, and what a bloodbath. Thanks for hosting Shadows, these are always fun. I don't think anyone noticed, but I lied about who I killed on Day 2. I killed def, but said I killed a band member. On Night 2 I investigated Fugazi (he had approached me about helping him kill a band member, but it was too late so I decided to investigate him). Turns out both of us were killed anyway. Who killed me?

The front one is even appropriate to the site, although a little late for Sesame Street/ Muppets week. Very nice work on these, how did you carve them?
  14. Was going to post that, Peppermint! I do like MM a lot. Anyway, I'm listening to Nine Inch Nails. Personally, I never liked them because I only listened to their mainstream stuff. But some of the songs you don't normally hear on the radio or even songs that most people don't know about are pretty good. Such as:
  15. Yeah, that would sum it up pretty well. I personally don't consider them mafia games, rather Shadow's variation of a forum game that is a nice distraction during theme months. They take little time to play through (and even to plan, I would imagine), and are extremely fun. The sheer number of night actions and fast pace of these games make it that way.
  16. They look fantastic! However, wouldn't all of those materials have a lasting effect on your bricks over time? Please share with us if you notice anything.
  17. Well I think it's a lot more interesting-looking than the Sears Tower or the John Hancock Center. Those were just stacked bricks. At least this one has some cool SNOT techniques. I'm going to try to build it myself, though, just like the others. I'm not quite ready to fork over what they're asking for some basic bricks.
  18. Oh, that's right. And it was amusing.
  19. I got my night action in literally seconds before the day was up, but I guess it doesn't matter. Sorry about that Shadows. Fun while it lasted, but I have no idea who's the last band member. By the way, I killed you, def. Yeah, it was stupid, but I thought it would've been more amusing (but no descriptions this time ). Oh well, I wasn't really playing to win.
  20. How about, we listen to the voices of those deceased, and all villagers investigate tonight. With any luck, the band members don't even have the ability to kill, and like The Ferkin Idiot said, they can just protect each other until everyone else kills themselves. And how are we supposed to kill them? Well, I think one protection blocks one kill. So if two people aim to kill one person, and he/ she is protected by only one person, they will die anyway. But don't kill tonight. Investigate, and share results tomorrow. Also, don't do anything to screw up someone's result.
  21. No, as soon as you hit 200, for every new picture you add, the oldest one(s) will become hidden. All deeplinks of the hidden pictures still remain (meaning they won't disappear from EB or any other site, ever, unless you delete them from your Flickr), and all hidden images will reappear on your account if you decide to get pro. I think it's a great site, and I personally do not need 200 pictures at once, especially since the ones ready to disappear are ones from at least 10 months ago. And if need be you can always re-upload from your hard drive. As for EB hosting it's own images, that takes a lot of space, and that costs money. It would probably end up costing you more than a Flickr account.
  22. Well, someone must have spiked your drink, because I targeted him last night. Unless someone spiked my drink, except I don't require liquids.
  23. Of course, and that's all I was saying. I just can't believe someone would want to spend that much on something like this. I'm not worried that he took them all, by any means. I know that I can buy one for myself whenever I like, and that wasn't my point.
  24. While it's impressive to see this, I have to rant a little. Does anyone really need that many of the same minifigure? I'd be plenty happy with just one, and I can understand why some MOCers would want 20 or 30, but this is over the top, especially if you hoarded bought them just to take a few pictures and show off. It just seems really pointless to me. And it was probably a lot more than 600 USD for these, because there's a good chance he didn't get them all from the store. Considering they're about 8 USD a pop on BL, that's about 2400 USD, not including shipping. That's a little more than my entire Lego collection. I'm not saying it's wrong, but to me it's ridiculous, especially considering he's not the only one in the world who wants some of these short-supply beauties.
  25. Very nice creation, I'm liking all of these winter village MOCs, it reminds me of the hand-crafted glass houses that we (my family) put up every holiday season. I like the choice of colors, the new PoP color blends well with the browns and tans present in the rest of the cafe. Great siding textures, and the decorative posts are neat. The interior has a nice rustic, cozy vibe. The only things I would change is to perhaps top off the roof with a point to make it look more solid and finished, and maybe a staircase on the inside (although it might make it too crowded). I'll have to take a look at your other village additions as well.
