  1. Confirmed, and ready to play. Thanks, Zeph, sorry to hear about your disastrous week. Hopefully the game can start tomorrow as planned. (Is it Kung Pho or Kung Fu)?
  2. Yes, you're right, I forgot about Padawan.
  3. Very nice animation, a little choppy at parts (walking in particular), but other than that, great. The effects were really good, too, better than average for brickfilms. I especially liked the speeder chase, when the mountains in the background are 2-D but move in 3-D space (and fade out slowly), as well as the lightsaber effects. The sound is superb, too. However, the backdrops are a little boring. While it seems that you were focused on the action more than the scenery, more than just drab, grey walls would really make the films exceptional. In any case, good luck with the third part, please do inform us here when you are finished with it.
  4. Funny little fragment, thanks for sharing. The Jar Jar head looks pretty decent, much better than the old ones, at least. The animation in the clip is beautiful, though. The reflections on the Rebel helmets really stood out to me, and overall it had a clean look. Hopefully those who made it will work on more like it.
  5. Round III Darth Aiklimacz: 1 Mistotar Typha: 5 Low - 0 Parry - 0 High - 1 Low - 0 Mid - 1 High - 0 Kick - 0 Saber Throw - 1 Parry - 0 Kick - 1 Health: 0 Health: 3 Aiklimacz hangs on by a thread, and readies herself for a comeback. Swinging low, her attack is parried, and she knows it is already too late to win the duel. However, she continues fighting, sending a volley of attacks, inflicting damage on her opponent. Typha retaliates by throwing his lightsaber in a cunning arc, striking his enemy down. Not unscathed, Mistotar walks away from the battle, victorious. Congrats, Minxter, you've won the duel and advanced to Jedi Knight! Bravely fought, KielDaMan, if only you had gotten as lucky as you did in the last round, throughout the duel. Remember to update your profiles with wins/ losses and advancements. Thanks for playing!
  6. Sounds very interesting. I like the idea of character classes, and longer rank progression. Looking forward to the start of this. Sweet. But if we want to use the same character, do we just edit our post in the Databank (and if so, do we clear our stats and wins/ losses), or is there going to be a new Databank? And not that it looks like this will be the case, but can duelists go back and do V1.0 duels if they so choose? So it sounds like: Guardian will have high lightsaber stats, and low force stats. Consular will have high force stats and low lightsaber stats. Sentinel will have a balance of both. Am I right?
  7. Round II Darth Aiklimacz: 3 Mistotar Typha: 5 Mid - 0 Mid - 0 Low - 0 Low - 0 Parry - 0 Parry - 0 Parry - 0 Kick - 1 High - 0 Saber Throw - 1 Health: 1 Health: 5 The duel continues, and each contestant predicts each other's moves through the force, countering again and again. However, Jedi Typha senses his opponent's next move, and lashes out with his boot, striking Aiklimac in the abdomen. Catching her off guard, Typha quickly follows-up with a lightning-fast arc of light, slashing the Sith yet again. While Aiklimac hangs on by a thread, Mistotar is still as fresh as he was at the start of the duel. Can the she-Sith hold on while making a comeback in the final round? Send Round 3 when you're ready, please.
  8. I personally like the eagle one, but I'd like to see what this looks like if you decide to go through with it. Does the color scheme match that of your car? If not, would you spray paint it? Please share pics!
  9. Hoorah! I won! Fantastic dueling, Walter, I got very lucky that you didn't hit me with one of your Flurries. Otherwise, I think I might've lost. And lucky that I got a spot back into the tournament, even though I lost to Magma. Thanks a ton for hosting and spending all of that time adjudicating and writing out those vivid scenes, and for the prizes. You're awesome. (By the way, thanks for the updated picture with the lightsaber effect. Do you mind if I use it for my character profile)?
  10. Round I Darth Aiklimacz: 5 Mistotar Typha: 5 Mid - 0 Low - 1 Kick - 0 Kick - 0 Parry - 0 Saber Throw - 0 Parry - 0 Parry - 0 Kick - 0 Mid - 1 Health: 3 Health: 5 A fiery battle begins, between a Jedi Initiate and a Sith learner. These two new fighters are eager to show their skills, and both dive in to attack. Aiklimacz lunges towards her foe's torso, but Typha ducks a swings low, striking the White Sith in the leg. She recoils, and brings her opposite foot up to kick, but it fails. After a few more blocked attacks, the Jedi takes aim and stabs at his his opponent, and she flinches at the impact. The less experienced fighter is injured, but can she show her true potential in the next round? DS for Round 2, please.
  11. Oh cool, I completely forgot about this over time. It was a nice little surprise to find this afternoon, thanks Kim! And congrats to Mos Eisley for the crowd favorite, as well as ThatGuyWithTheBricks, Blackice, and JediJoe.
  12. Congrats to the winners! I didn't really expect to win since I only got 15/16, but at the very least this was a fun activity to do. And considering I'm not much of a MOCer, it was a nice change-up from MOCing contests. Hopefully we'll see something like this in the future, well done, staff.
  13. If Minxter accepts the challenge, I can adjudicate. Send in Round 1 when you're ready, please.
  14. craelegoboy: Heheheh. :P

Dan the Brickman: Thanks for the suggestion, but out of those 30 some programs you see, I only use about 3 regularly. And I'm too lazy to click more than once to get to a program. :P

  15. Well we've already had Galactic Paranoia, which featured Rebel and Imperial soldiers, so maybe, like I think you said earlier, a SW Mafia that features various alien species and occupations of the SWU. Jedi and Sith are the most obvious ones, but I'm sure you can come up with others.
  16. I know these are preliminary, but a lot of them, to me, are just okay. Not even close to being as cool as S1 and S2, but still welcome. I do like the elf, fisherman, and mummy, but the rest just seem mediocre in comparison to what we've been treated to.
  17. This one was definitely the hardest, I only found it after I decided to blindly click every review in every index. Luckily for me, I started from the top of the forum home page and worked my way down, so Batman was the very first theme I checked. You'd definitely have to know you're stuff about this one. I repeatedly checked every Spider-Man review because I thought it was referring to the character, Venom. This doesn't surprise me one bit. I knew it was in there, and I checked every page of every topic of that game at least three times each, but I must have overlooked the picture every time. I'm thinking it was because the picture was the same size as the one next to it, and it blended in. Ah well it only took up about five hours of my life. Thanks for sharing the answers, Sieggy.
  18. Happy birthday ISC! Have a great day!
  19. Wow, spectacular! Corvettes are by far my favorite type of car, and I can say that you've done an excellent job on recreating this version of the Stingray. The shape is perfect, and all of the little details are great. Wonderful work, can we be expecting any other Lego cars in the future?
  20. Well, not what I expected, but the new skin and banner are nice. They even match my new skin and wallpaper on my computer (image). I wholeheartedly agree. While I won't be participating in the contest or activities, I won't mind the small audience who will.
  21. Nope, no bother. :) I always enjoy profile comments. And yes, the new Snape is pretty sweet, definitely my favorite of the new line.

  22. Don't worry about it! If you don't have them, that's fine, but if someone does... well I'd just like to see them. Right, I want to see them all together. Oh, by the way, if you didn't check the topic link, these are the sets I'd like to see: Hoth Rebel Base (from 2007) Hoth Battle Packs Echo Base (from 2009, with Taun Taun) Wampa Cave AT-AT (2010)
  23. Since my question wasn't answered a few days ago in this thread, I thought I should ask in this big thread. My question is, does anyone know of (or would be willing to take) a picture of all of the official Hoth sets together? It seems that the craze for these sets is finally slowing down, but I never got a few, so I want to see what the Hoth collection looks like. Thanks for any help you can give!
  24. Heheheh. These gave me quite a chuckle. Great effects and sense of humor!
  25. I'm ready. Give me everything you've got. (DS sent).
