  1. I have to agree with the others that said this series is a little repetitive, and while a few of the figures are really nice, a lot of them seem like fillers. Off the top of my head, the fitness trainer, snowboarder (that's three now?), clown, and the monkey keeper. I do really like a certain few of them, though, like the British solider, mobster (love that violin case), and the Gladiator. Wonder why light blue is the color choice, though. Seems a little nonsensical considering S2 was blue, and they could've done purple or red. Ah well, I'm not really one to complain about package design, and it doesn't really matter, just thought I should point it out.
  2. Good to see that TLG is going in the domestic-style direction again with Castle. The farm and windmill set looks pretty neat, I like the color scheme. It's nowhere near the caliber of the MMV, but still nice.
  3. Great idea, thanks for putting it together Sandy and Draggy (as well as others behind the scenes). I was beginning to worry, because as EB mafia games progress, more and more people want to play. And there simply isn't enough room for all of the vets and noobs who want to play. Nope. Ricecracker, I think said it the best. You receive it after showing dedication and skill in mafia games, hosting or playing. And even then, you might not get one. It's really up to Draggy and Shadows.
  4. Remember, I did say that I may or may not be around to announce the start of the voting period. It started about two hours ago. And Hinckley, I'm going to let your edit slide this time, but don't do it again. Same goes to anyone else.
  5. Thanks Draggy. I always like to look through the index at past games. And I just realized... only three games were in between Werewolf and Dystopia. That feels like it was so long ago.
  6. No. Whenever I say "his" (in a situation like this), it's an ambiguous term just like "you guys". I don't mean to sound sexist, it's just an old habit.
  7. Yay! Welcome Mrs. Rufus Pandora! Hope you become active here, whether it be MOCing or just discussing this great hobby.
  8. It was pretty early, but Day 2 has been posted. If the schedule is too fast for anyone, please let me know, but I figured with the 24 hour no-voting period, everyone would have ample time to catch up.
  9. During the late hours of the night, Dacius Nathans was out of bed. A figure approached him. "Here, I made some silver bullets for you", it said. The figure walked away. "Wow, what a good samaritan", Dacius said to himself. "I could find out who needs these to kill werewolves!". A hooded figure sneakily approached Dacius from behind. Dacius only knew it was there after it got so close that he could hear its breath. Before he could turn around, the hooded figure swung his pickax into Dacius' back. Dacius collapsed to the floor, crawling away from his attacker. "No, please, no!", he begged for mercy. The hooded figure just stared down at Nathans, and prepared to swing again. The pickax came down again with a soft thud, right into Dacius' chest. He stopped shaking, and his body went limp. The hooded figure's work was complete. --- The next morning, the villagers woke to find Dacius' bloody corpse laid out on the stone floor. A few gasped, others sobbed. After the defeat of Zed the Werewolf, the villagers had hoped that they would be alright, but this just proved that everyone was still in immediate danger. The baron addressed the guests. "It is unfortunate that Dacius Nathans was killed. Even more unfortunate that he was one of our own, a loyal Villager". The crowd exchanged glances, saddened by their loss. "However, we must continue to pursue his murderer, as well as any other evils that may be present among us", Isaac said. "We shall lynch again after breakfast". Rules: This game will follow the basic conventions of a Mafia Game. Each "day", you will be given 3 real days in which to vote for someone to kill. To convict, the player with the most votes will be lynched. If someone has been convicted, their loyalty will be revealed shortly after. After this the night phase will begin, which will last 2-3 real days. Then the cycle will repeat. Those players with night actions must send in their choices to the game moderator (me) within 24 hours, or they will not be counted. - Voting is to be done in the day thread, and should follow the following format: Vote: Character (Player). Please note the use of bold. This is the only format that will be accepted. To unvote someone, the same applies: Unvote: Character (Player). - A conviction is reached at the end of the day, in which the player with the most votes is lynched. If there is tie, the player who got the most votes first is lynched. - There is a 24 hour limit at the beginning of each day. You are not allowed to vote during this time. The game moderator may or may not announce when the limit is lifted, so pay attention to when the Day thread was posted. - You may not edit your posts. Violation may result in penalty votes and/or a mod kill. - Do not ever directly quote or claim to quote something the game moderator has sent to you via PM, whether it be your character information, night action results, or any other form of communication. Violation of this rule will result in a moderator kill. You may of course paraphrase any information you receive; if it is your own words then it is fine. - Do not discuss game tactics or "play the game" outside the game thread, including in the General Discussion thread. You may communicate privately via PM, but this is at your own risk, and should be considered part of playing the game. - Likewise, please avoid posting out of character (OOC) in the game thread. - No metagaming (specifically, basing judgment on how someone played in another game. References to past games and roles, not relating to any specific player, are okay). - Please be considerate towards the host. I will try my best to stick to the schedule, and your cooperation will help this greatly, particularly getting night actions in promptly. - There may be certain punishments for not reaching a conviction during the day. Said punishments are final, and are to be obeyed. - Night actions sent after 24 hours into the Night Phase will not be counted. Please send them in quickly, even if you don't plan on using your action. The sooner I get night actions, the sooner the next day can begin. - Lastly, this is very important: Do NOT reveal any game information or even communicate with other players concerning the game at all if you are dead.Yes, this includes speaking to other dead players about the game. If you're dead, then you're dead, so act like it. Absolutely nothing is allowed to be revealed until the game's conclusion is posted. Players: Ignatius Conan (Inconspicuous) - Wealthy businessman and owner of Blackwood's general store. Daniel O'Donnell (Def) - Owner and manager of the local Irish restaurant. 10. Still waiting on one person's night action (which is still acceptable until 7 PM CST), but I appreciate everyone's punctuality.
  11. Yum! Very tasty looking, Madi. The ginger looks especially well-done, clever use of the propellers. Love the other little touches, too, like the wasabi and spilled soy sauce.
  12. Are these finalized? If not, I hope they refine Ki-Adi Mundi's head a little more. I've waited so long for TLG to make this figure, and I don't want it screwed up. The tall head piece just looks tacked on, unnatural with Lego pieces. Worst-case-scenario, I'll probably replace his CW head. Same with Maul and Oppress. In this case, though, I think I'll just stick with the 2007 Maul. Everything else looks good, though. Especially Padme and those Wolfpack troopers. And those Ewoks are so darn cute! Also, it looks like the new Qui-Gon face is a recolored version Ashoka's (PoP) face. From what I can tell, I much prefer the 2007 version.
  13. Oh, and, I don't know if I've said this to everyone yet, but I would really like it if everyone kept sending their night actions to the same PM conversation. Use the character PM if you like. It would really help me stay organized. Thanks.
  14. Vote Tally: Zed Phillips/ Zepher: 18 (Dragonator, Shadows, Hinckley, Fugazi, badboytje88, Alopex, Sandy, WhiteFang, Professor Flitwick, Peanuts, Rufus, Admiral Ron, CallMePie, Lord Arjay, Quarryman, Eskallon, Inconspicuous). The sun dropped below the thick forest, and the moon was already on its way up in the sky. The room grew dark and cold, and even with a roaring fire in the parlor, the cold autumn chill pierced the stone walls of the manor and into the solitudes of its residents. The guests at Isaac's manor had decided to lynch. The vast majority voted for Zed Phillips. A crowd surrounded Zed, his back to the cold, stone wall. "No, you don't understand..." he said, trying to remain calm. "Please, you don't know what you're getting into". The crowd ignored him, and moved in closer. "No. No. No!". The moonlight shone through the windows, and suddenly, Zed growled. The crowd backed off. Zed supported himself against the wall, groaning. Right before their eyes, Zed's body hair grew long almost instantly, and his teeth grew to points, dripping saliva. He turned around, growling and preparing to pounce. By now, his upper body was covered in fur and his suit was tearing. Suddenly, a crescent of silver flashed from the crowd, and entered Zed's abdomen. The blade went almost completely through, and blood spattered out from his back. Zed was caught by surprise, and stumbled backward, hitting his skull against the wall. A sickening crack was heard, and Zed fell to the floor. A pool of blood formed around his unmoving form, and it was clear that he was slain. It was also clear that he was a Werewolf. The crowd let out their held breath, and soon everyone became positively gleeful that they had lynched a werewolf... on the first day! Penelope and Fiona dragged Zed's body out of the parlor, and cleaned up the mess he had made. The group celebrated for a while, and eventually went to bed. Not without fear, though. There were still other dangers that the villagers needed to overcome if they wanted to escape this manor alive. Please send in your Night Actions ASAP. If I do not receive them after 24 hours, they will not be counted. Even if you do not want to use you night action, please tell me that. Thank you.
  15. Good luck to you and your family, CM. Hope everything turns out alright.
  16. Double post, I know, but I was reading TBB and saw this: FYI, if I had the bricks, talent, and time, this is what Baron von Count's manor would look like. Just saying.
  17. Well not anymore, but thanks for pointing out my mistake. Sorry about that iamded.

  20. I know, it sucks. There's really nothing I can do about it, but I understand your struggle.
  21. Vote Tally: Zed Phillips/ Zepher: 15 (Dragonator, Shadows, Hinckley, Fugazi, badboytje88, Alopex, Sandy, WhiteFang, Professor Flitwick, Admiral Ron, Lord Arjay, Quarryman, Eskallon, Inconspicuous) There are less than 25 hours until nightfall.
