  1. The odd thing is, you're talking. How would you know? Are you a communist spy?
  2. Blah blah blah. People, listen. The HUAC investigator was brought here because of the communists, so even if he's been quiet, he's probably not a communist himself. In some games... of life, the fact that anyone - regardless of origin - is true, but not this one. We have a mystery on our hands, and right now the evidence points towards Delores. Vote for whoever you want, but I definitely think Delores is a better choice.
  3. No. Look back remember what's been said, by myself and the Mayor. And I've got 60 some years, son. And yeah, uh, I do think we should look at the newcomers. The note did say "Beware of the newcomers", so that's what I'm doing. Delores just happened to be there for a poor, saddened man who recently lost his wife? Sounds like a communist plot to me. How about this: Let's assume Delores is a communist sleeper cell. She kills the late Ms. Jefferson, comforts the depressed Mr. Jefferson, they get married. Perfect disguise for a communist who wants to slip into the quiet life as a sleeper cell. Fast forward a few years, no one suspects that the best-apple pie-making step-mom in town is a communist. She is part of the plan to kill us all and/ or spread communism in our country, catching everyone unawares. My vote still stands. Communism is a disease, and needs to be contained. Best have this woman shipped off to D.C.
  4. So well, in fact, that I didn't even know he was in it until the credits. Agreed on that as well. Also, not to sound sexist, but I thought she was way too knowledgeable and snappy for girl of that age in that time. While not particularly annoying, I think that it was historically inaccurate. Not many people knew how to read or write during that time, especially women who were discouraged to learn. I think. It might've been earlier than when this took place. A lot, actually, thanks for your tips. I'll check into a few of those other Westerns you suggested.
  5. Whoops, I meant to add to my thought. I meant that the characters shouldn't be put in that unrealistic situation. If they have plenty of chances to kill or arrest Ventress, but decide not to, rewrite the script so that they're not even put into that situation. Agreed.
  6. Wow... Mayor, very impressive deduction indeed. I certainly haven't been paying that close attention as all of these conclusions have never crossed my mind. The make a whole lotta sense, though. Uh, I did? I distinctly remember wanting to put them in the armory, then put them in a jail cell since it was more secure. And for the most part, I've been given weapons. And no, any weapons I have on my person I'm not giving away. But Mayor, you make a good case. Which is why I'm going to vote for Delores. As I previously stated this morning, I thought that there might've been a love affair between Ms. Jefferson, Delores, and Mr . Jefferson. And Delores being a newcomer could definitely pass as a sleeper cell. Vote: Delores Jefferson / def
  7. And no disrespect, son, but you were probably still learning your ABCs when that case was open. In any case, I uh, see your point. Let's not jump on Ted for throwing the first stone, though. Where's the Chef? I'm hungry.
  8. No amount of minifigs is worth showcasing my romantic side to the whole world! Probably won't be joining this one due to lack of time and current involvement in other projects, but the prize is tempting. I'll be interested to see what my fellow builders have to cook up.
  9. I don't think that we should be voting an innocent kid. If anything, his step-mom. Maybe she killed Mrs. Jefferson in some sort of love affair? So that she could be with Mr. Jefferson, huh?
  10. Wow... Some of you have huge modular collections! Makes me wish I had the money to build a city in my house. I really like that Emporium extension, as well. Would you mind posting more pictures, gmsracing?
  11. I really liked "Nightsisters", for the most part. The background given to Ventress was good, at least for a kid's show, and I like how the second half of S3 is taking a darker turn (in atmosphere and storyline). I liked the lightsaber duel and the space battle a lot, althout I have to bicker about other things. A huge fail goes to both attempts to take out a character. First, Obi-Wan and Anakin had the perfect opportunity to slay Ventress. And if it's not the Jedi way, well too bad. You expect a Sith to come quietly? Where would they even put her, or contain her? She could always use the force to escape. Just kill her. Also, the assassins had the perfect opportunity to kill Dooku. But they waited for him to use lightning. Also, wouldn't Dooku sense them coming, before they used the toxin? Or even sense that Ventress was alive after the explosion? He's a Sith lord. He's powerful. He shouldn't be prone to these things. I agree on the comments about this episode not being as great because of the fact that we already knew Dooku would survive. But I guess it was more of a build-up to Savage. We don't really know what happens to Ventress or Savage yet (unless you looked at the spoilers). Also, I thought it was pretty funny that Dooku was wearing PJs. I've always imagined him as a cold, wise, and chivalrous Sith, so it was amusing to see him fight in his comfortable PJs.
  12. That was a fast change from Duke to Fellow to Regulator! Good to know that someone as dedicated to LSW as you is helping Kim and Stash. I'm sure you'll do a great job.
  13. Nice vig, I like the wall and floor detailing. Those layered arches are !
  14. Does the extension of HP month mean the deadline of this contest is extended, too? Edit: Sorry, never mind. The two contests have the same deadline.
  15. It's been done before, so it could work. Not the mafia spread across them all, but having different factions face off rather than town vs. mafia. Sounds interesting, I think you should go for it.
  16. Agreed! As my first Western flick, I was unsure of what to expect, but certainly not disappointed. The acting was great, I really liked the marshal character.
  17. Hm. Officers, please explain yourselves. Fields, what were you doing, and who did you see? Harrison, what the hell is your badge doing on a package to the U.S.S.R.? Very suspicious. I suggest you gentlemen explain right away. The civillians are on edge, and no need to ship you off to Washington for no good reason, eh?
  18. Saw that one coming.
  19. Puh. Lego gathering dust on your shelf? No way. Some people sure are thick. But, anyway, yeah I agree. Gluing them together is ridiculous. Now they really are going to gather dust, when the kid realizes he doesn't want to play with the same spaceship over and over again. He wants to use his imagination and build different ships. Then Lego becomes just like any other toy, by gluing them together I don't blame the mother on some parts, though. She probably didn't realize that gluing the pieces together would have more consequences than purists pleading to not ruin the pieces.
  20. First, please stop color coding everything. You're giving me a headache. Second, *sigh* The evidence is compelling, but I can guaranty that I knew for a fact that King was innocent on Janurary 1st. Could that have changed since then? Yes, especially with Jesus and all of his switching. But I still trust him, and since I know that I am not Sinister, and he's still defending me, he is innocent. I'm certainly not voting for him since I do trust him, but I don't want to say anything about knowing of his innocence as of today since it will mean I'm next on the chopping block if he turns out Sinister. And if he's innocent, I know who to vote for tomorrow. And, by the way, I can say that a little boy out in the garden told me that Martin's killer was a patient. If that helps at all.
  21. Something has come up, and I must unvote. Until further notice. Sorry, you'll have to wait for my reason why. Unvote: Nurse Pepper/ Bob TCM
  22. Agreed. If you were protected, it's still likely that you could've been blocked. Otherwise, in the sequence of events, a kill happens before the switch. Please do share. I don't want to vote off the wrong person.
  23. For what reasons? You're making no case whatsoever. The PR results were explained long ago, I don't even know why some people voted for me. So if you're so sure, see how many people you can convince. Go ahead. And if you happen to be successful, then that's too bad. A loss of another innocent, on your hands.
  24. That's too bad. Who don't you trust and why?
  25. Vote: Nurse Pepper/ Bob TCM
