Werewolf Mafia Confirmation & Discussion thread
JimBee replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the discussion here. I was very pleased that so many people were following this game, even if they were dead or not playing at all. Please keep all further discussions in the Conclusion thread, thanks. -
Fiona and Penelope seized Ignatius, and took him out of the foyer to execute. The crowd crossed their fingers and held their breath. Soon, footsteps could be heard from behind the foyer door. The guests eagerly awaited the news on the most recent lynchee. However, it wasn't the two servants that came through that door. Instead stood Ignatius Conan, who dropped the decapitated heads of Fiona and Penelope on the floor. He was holding a sword. The crowd gasped, and everyone fled. Unfortunately, the Duke of southeast England, William Fairfax, was not quick enough, and the sword killer went after him first. As he stabbed William through the torso, Charles Synclair sprinted away. Ignatius withdrew his blade, and then chased after Charles. He caught up, and slit his throat. The teacher from Oxford fell to the floor, blood gushing from his neck. Samuel and Angela were backed up against the staircase, watching as their loved ones were killed. Ignatius approached them next. He grabbed Angela, and held her in front of him, towards Samuel. "Stay back, fiend!", shouted Samuel, conjuring green beams of light from his hands. It was no use. Samuel's magic was ineffective in this scenario, and Conan quickly killed Angela. Cornering Samuel against the staircase, Conan raised his sword and struck down upon his prey. The last remaining Synclair fell back, smashing through the railing and quickly bleeding out. Ignatius then ascended the stairs, only to have Arianna Jacques and Harriet Clive blocking his way. "You shall not harm another soul!" Arianna said, quivering. "The Fellowship will punish you for your actions!". Ignatius had no idea what she was talking about, but responded by cutting her down and pushing her over the railing. Next up was Harriet, who had pulled out a sprig of wolfsbane. "Stay back! Foul beast!" she said. She was confident that the plant would repel Werewolves. Unfortunately, Ignatius wasn't a Werewolf himself, so he continued his rampage by cutting her down, too. Conan ran up the rest of the stairs after Isaac Edgar. However, when he reached the balcony, he was caught by surprise when the baron came charging out of the hallway with a steel chain in his hands. Isaac threw the chain, and wrapped it around Ignatius' sword. Conan reacted quickly and with all of his strength, dragged the chain and threw the baron into the balcony railing. He broke through the wooden rail, and fell below to his death. "Who's missing?", Ignatius wondered to himself. Suddenly, Archibald Rynne charge at him, knife in hand. He lashed out at the killer, but the blade was quickly dodged. Conan retaliated by knocking the knife out of Rynne's hand... ...and stabbing him to death. Ignatius returned to the ground floor. That was it. He had killed all of them. Because of his wits, he was going to survive. Suddenly, Quinn Synclair, who had escaped his doom only days earlier, appeared behind Conan. He was sorry for things he had done, and returned to the manor to help his father and uncle. Upon seeing their bodies, he quickly grabbed the musket of Terrence that was stored behind the foyer, and fired. There was nothing left of Ignatius Conan except for a headless corpse. Quinn had defeated him, and had a tale yet to tell... --- Isaac woke up with a start. He was in his bed, in his room, in his manor. It was the morning after him and his guests had lynched the final evil-doer of the village, and everyone was finally safe. It was only a nightmare, a residual effect from the horrors that he had witnessed for the past eight days. Isaac arrived in the foyer to encounter the Villagers, all cheerful and congratulating each other on a job well done. The crisis had not been without its losses, but it was time to bury the past and move on. Isaac waled over to the main doors, and threw them open. The rain had stopped, and it was a beautiful autumn morning. The remaining Villagers returned to their homes, ready to start anew. --- Winners: WhiteFang, Alopex, Hinckley, Fugazi, iamded, Professor Flitwick, Admiral Ron, Lord Arjay, CallMePie, Sandy (Village) --- Thanks for playing, everyone! Please keep all remaining discussions concerning Werewolf Mafia in here (non-players are welcome to join in as well). I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I'll be very interested in what everyone has to say, and all questions will be answered. Also, this thread will be updated periodically with night action results, roles, etc. Discuss!

Vote Tally: Ignatius Conan/ Inconspicuous: 11 (CallMePie, Admiral Ron, Hinckley, Alopex, Sandy, Fugazi, Professor Flitwick, WhiteFang, Lord Arjay, iamded) The guests of the manor had decided to lynch Ignatius Conan. The servants seized him, and took him out of the foyer to execute. He went without a word, and shortly after, Fiona and Penelope came back with the results. Ignatius was the sword killer, and took on this role after the werewolf, Zed, died. He was allied with Zed, and therefore, was allied as a Werewolf. The crowd cheered, and everyone went to bed. Was it over? Only time would tell... Please send in night actions now.

I prefer the 2008 clean white CW boxes over anything, but if this means we'll be getting more Episode I sets, then I'll take it.

Although fairly obvious quotes, I'm glad you got them. There's also Anthony Hopkins in there somewhere... -
No. How many times must I explain this? "He" is a generic term. What do you call the monster under your bed? He. What you call that crazy-megablocks driver that cut you off? He. Nameless, genderless entity.

Night was upon the manor once again, and the full moon was shining, bright and lusty above the trees of the forest outside. The sword killer was roaming the manor, alone and without his prized weapon. Surprisingly, there were no deaths on the seventh night since the attack on the village. The guests and residents of the manor awoke, all thankful that no one was killed. However, now it was time to lynch. Would the Villagers prevail? Or would they kill one of their own? Only time would tell. You must wait 24 hours before voting. Rules: This game will follow the basic conventions of a Mafia Game. Each "day", you will be given 3 real days in which to vote for someone to kill. To convict, the player with the most votes will be lynched. If someone has been convicted, their loyalty will be revealed shortly after. After this the night phase will begin, which will last 2-3 real days. Then the cycle will repeat. Those players with night actions must send in their choices to the game moderator (me) within 24 hours, or they will not be counted. - Voting is to be done in the day thread, and should follow the following format: Vote: Character (Player). Please note the use of bold. This is the only format that will be accepted. To unvote someone, the same applies: Unvote: Character (Player). - A conviction is reached at the end of the day, in which the player with the most votes is lynched. If there is tie, the player who got the most votes first is lynched. - There is a 24 hour limit at the beginning of each day. You are not allowed to vote during this time. The game moderator may or may not announce when the limit is lifted, so pay attention to when the Day thread was posted. - You may not edit your posts. Violation may result in penalty votes and/or a mod kill. - Do not ever directly quote or claim to quote something the game moderator has sent to you via PM, whether it be your character information, night action results, or any other form of communication. Violation of this rule will result in a moderator kill. You may of course paraphrase any information you receive; if it is your own words then it is fine. - Do not discuss game tactics or "play the game" outside the game thread, including in the General Discussion thread. You may communicate privately via PM, but this is at your own risk, and should be considered part of playing the game. - Likewise, please avoid posting out of character (OOC) in the game thread. - No metagaming (specifically, basing judgment on how someone played in another game. References to past games and roles, not relating to any specific player, are okay). - Please be considerate towards the host. I will try my best to stick to the schedule, and your cooperation will help this greatly, particularly getting night actions in promptly. - There may be certain punishments for not reaching a conviction during the day. Said punishments are final, and are to be obeyed. - Night actions sent after 24 hours into the Night Phase will not be counted. Please send them in quickly, even if you don't plan on using your action. The sooner I get night actions, the sooner the next day can begin. - Lastly, this is very important: Do NOT reveal any game information or even communicate with other players concerning the game at all if you are dead.Yes, this includes speaking to other dead players about the game. If you're dead, then you're dead, so act like it. Absolutely nothing is allowed to be revealed until the game's conclusion is posted. MOC: Battle for the last living tree
JimBee replied to Captain Flint's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I like it! The concept is really neat, and I think you told the story well (although "torrential torrents" is redundantly redundant ). The posing of the figures is good, as well as the dead, black tree. I don't really understand why there's an arsonist (when I read the topic title and story, I was thinking the fires of war, e.g. unintentional collateral damage), but still a nice idea. Thanks for sharing. -
Vote Tally: Ruben Roland/ Rufus: 11 (Hinckley, CallMePie, Inconspicuous, Admiral Ron, iamded, Professor Flitwick, Sandy, WhiteFang, Fugazi, Lord Arjay) Before the day was even over, most of the village had already voted, this time lynching Ruben Roland, the local school teacher. The crowd prepared to seize their choice, but Ruben was already fleeing the scene. He began pounding wildly on the main doors that led outside, but they were securely locked and braced. Fiona and Penelope quickly tackled Ruben, and dragged him by his ankles. All the while Ruben put up a struggle, so the two servants eventually had to carry him. The baron followed them out of the room to watch the execution. He had just fashioned a makeshift guillotine, and wanted to try it out. Later, Isaac and his servants returned to the foyer, bearing the news of their lynchee. "It's clear that Ruben was a Rogue", Edgar said. "Well done everyone, I feel that we're very close to overcoming the villains in our presence". The remaining guests cheered and whooped, and soon drifted off to sleep, confident that they would live to see daylight again. Send in night actions ASAP, please!

Lego Mars Mission. I have a teal and a lime green one, too. More good ones. Cloney, seeing all of those strips with Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura, and the other new Jedi makes me want them so bad! Off to BL...

Write them down so you don't forget. Seriously, I'm very interested in what everyone has to say. And I'm glad you folks are still watching at home. -
MOD NOTE: The final picture of the first post in this thread is incorrect. I mistakenly misplaced the Ignatius Conan minifigure, and left him out of the picture. I was also mistaken about the number of players left, there are 12. I will edit the post with the new picture shortly.

It was nighttime, and naturally, there was more blood to be spilled. Ex-Admiral Reginald Greyson had somehow gotten into the liquor storage, and was nearly passed-out drunk on the foyer floor. "Drink up! Yo ho yo ho yo ho!" "W-well hello there. Wh-who are you?" "W-wait. Wait. H-hold on there. Just hold on... I..." It was too late. The pickax killer struck down the blabbering Admiral, and Reginald Greyson was dead. *** Later, Ebenezer Hewitt, the Chief of Police, was wandering the manor. He spotted Greyson's corpse, and walked on over to investigate. Cut through the torso, the Chief bled out and was no more. *** The villagers gathered in the foyer the next morning, all thankful that they were still alive. The same, however, could not be said about the Chief and the Admiral. Admiral Reginald Greyson was, like Terrence, Neutral. He had no specific alliance and his only goal in this ordeal was to survive. Ebenezer Hewitt, however, was regrettably a Villager. The survivors were down to a mere twelve, and now had to decide who to lynch next. You must wait 24 hours before voting. Players: Ignatius Conan (Inconspicuous) - Wealthy businessman and owner of Blackwood's general store. Harriet Clive (Hinckley) - Worker at the general store. Angela Fairfax (Alopex) - Duchess of southeast England, married to William. Archibald Rynne (Admiral Ron) - Waiter at the local Irish restaurant. William Fairfax (WhiteFang) - Duke of southeast England, married to Angela. Samuel Synclair (Sandy) - Husband of Beatrice, father of Quinn, and elder brother of Charles. Charles Synclair (CallMePie) - Professor at Oxford, younger brother of Samuel. Arianna Jacques (Lord Arjay) - Everyday citizen of Blackwood. Penelope Fletcher (Professor Flitwick) - Servant of the baron. Fiona Gates (Fugazi) - Servant of the baron. Ruben Roland (Rufus) - Teacher at the local school. Isaac Edgar (iamded) - Baron of the large manor on the village borders. Deceased: Zed Phillips (Zepher) - Werewolf, lynched Day 1 Dacius Nathans (Dragonator) - Villager, killed Night 1 Adam Sokern (Sok117) - Villager, lynched Day 2 Daniel O'Donnell (Def) - Rogue, killed Night 2 Raleigh Clifton (Ricecracker) - Villager, killed Night 2 Benjamin Cobb (Bob The Construction Man) - Rogue, killed Night 3 Walter Knox (Walter Kovacs) - Villager, killed Night 3 Quinn Synclair (Quarryman) - Rouge, lynched Day 4 Phillip Peers (Peanuts) - Villager, killed Night 4 Terence Lyons (TinyPiesRUs) - Neutral, killed Night 4 Sebastien Vaughn (Shadows) - Villager, killed Night 4 Beatrice Synclair (Badboytje88) - Vampire (allied with the Werewolves), lynched Day 5 Reginald Greyson (Rick) - Neutral, killed Night 5 Ebenezer Hewitt (Eskallon) - Villager, killed Night 5

Red Scare Mystery -Confirmation and Discussion
JimBee replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
"Old Man Jenkins" is a pretty (stereo)typical name for that old man sitting on a rocking chair on a wooden porch in olden days America. At least, that's the image I get. -
Vote Tally: Beatrice Synclair/ badboytje88: 12 (CallMePie, Hinckley, Alopex, Inconspicuous, Eskallon, Sandy, Admiral Ron, Rufus, Professor Flitwick, iamded, Fugazi, Lord Arjay) Harriet Clive/ Hinckley: 1 (Penalty) The last remaining sunlight was peaking through the trees outside of the manor. The surviving villagers had decided to lynch Beatrice Synclair, who is believed to be a vampire. Penelope and Fiona grabbed Beatrice by the arms. She struggled to get away, but the two servants held on. "Grr, you fools! This isn't this last you'll see of me!", she growled through a frown. The mob simply looked on, hungry for more blood. Fiona and Penelope dragged her out of the room, and prepared to execute her. Baron Edgar followed, to make sure they bound their lynchee well this time. No need for her to follow her son's lead. A few moments passed, and the trio returned, entering on the balcony. The Baron held Beatrice's decapitated head high, proclaiming the death of a Vampire. The crowd cheered. They were on a role, with many evil-doers already taken out, there surely couldn't be many more left. Indeed Beatrice had become a Vampire, allied with the Werewolf team after her first "death". Send in night actions now please!

Woah. My eyes sort of flipped out when I looked at that, very cool picture. Great stuff here from everyone, really, I follow this thread regularly along with the Funnies one. And after looking at all of these great photos, I decided to give it a try myself. By no means am I a professional photographer, in fact I'm just trying this out for the first time, so my pics probably are no where near everyone else's. But let me know what you think. Eh... I wish I would've moved that leaf.
