  1. I was wondering the same thing, actually. I've been hearing a lot of "reddish brown" and "frown" and "brown" around here lately. I don't know the difference. I know that a lot of the old brown (pre-2003-ish) had some problems with color consistency. A lot of my old brown pieces have varying degrees of milkyness.
  2. Thanks guys, these are really great. Will we always have to put in the code in the text box, or will they eventually be put into the emoticons menu? I like this one:
  3. From what I've heard from others who've seen the movie, people who didn't like the first three liked OST, and vice versa. I have yet to hear of someone (not on EB) who likes both.
  4. I just noticed my new one. I wonder how long it's been there... Forgetful Housekeeper: Given for forgetting to update important threads in the Reviewers Academy (I think?). I assume it was WhiteFang who gave it to me since I spotted him viewing my profile a few days before I noticed this. (New emoticons)?
  5. Nice entries so far, everyone. Lisqr, your Category B entry is great! I especially like the Cultist and the Tycoon. However, I do think that an Amazon Warrior would be cooler than an Amazon Worrier. I'm almost done with my Category B minifigures. I just need to design one more minifig and then the vignette. Some of my minifigs are similar to those of the B entries already posted, but great minds think alike, I suppose. I did design them previous to seeing the similar ones posted, at least. I'm looking forward to more entries!
  6. At first glance, your avatar looked like Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill series, because of the way the tree blends in. :P

    Congrats on fellowship, BTW.

  7. I recently watched Machete, which was refreshingly gritty. This is one of the few cases that I like the B-movie style of filming, because it really works here. Some of the dialog and acting was [more than] questionable (cough), but other than that, I really enjoyed it. You could also say it had an all-star cast, including Robert De Niro and this guy.
  8. Happy Birthday Sieggy! Hope you have a wonderful day.
  9. Nicely played by all. I followed this one more closely than the last few, and I enjoyed watching you noobs ( ) play. This was one of those rare games where it gets down to only a few players, and there's only one scum left, which are always exciting. Thanks to badboytje88 and Hinckley for hosting, as well, you two did great.
  10. Really nice review, Big Cam, especially the pictures. This is a nice little set, too, one of the better MINIs that I've seen lately, parts-wise. Not the best design, unfortunately, but you can never have enough dark tan.
  11. First off, welcome to Eurobricks. Enjoy you're time here. Second, a little friendly advice. Mentioning that you're underage on an adult website is generally looked down upon, as is improper spelling and grammar. Also, I see that you've made a few posts in the Buy, Sell, Trade, and Finds forum, but be aware that you cannot communicate privately with other members via Personal Messenger until you've accumulated ten posts.
  12. Happy Birthday Nick!
  13. If you look back a few pages, it is clear that Barnes & Noble is not a reliable Lego retailer. They apparently do these big Lego promotion things saying you get XX% off, and then cancel the shipments. They must make money off of it somehow (S&H costs?), but it's happened more than once in the past. I like the sound of that, hopefully it will live up to the standards set by the first three films.
  14. I just have one question for Category B. Rule #9 says this: Does this mean that new prints from S4 are forbidden, too?
  15. Nice ones, Brickdoctor. I really like the crisp red in the Imperial Guard shot.
  16. It also played a pivotal role in determining what happened with the Imperial fleet finding Shipwreck Cove and whether or not Will would be able to lead them there.
  17. I used to try to get at least some of the small sets from every theme, but now I'm more focused on what appeals to me rather than try to "collect them all". There's no one theme that I like the best at the moment, but if I see a cool set with good pieces and/or minifigs, I'll get it. So yes, you could say I dabble.
  18. And I was thinking you two already had the tag. Of course, both are well-deserved awards, congrats Def and Rick! I look forward to seeing the both of you in future EB mafia games.
  19. Oh! Sorry about that, I guess I spoke too soon...
  20. Piss of Hinckley, and you're digging your own Gravins. ...sorry, I just had to.
  21. Happy (Belated) Birthday!

  22. I've decided to enter Category B after all. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be to come up with 16 different designs until I started, especially since I don't want to create a similar version of one of the past CMs. But it's all very fun, to mix and match different minifigure parts. Also, nice entry, The Spark That Bled. I like the funny troll doll minifigure, as well as the fortune teller.
  23. I'm jealous of your haul, Lego Otaku. Thanks for the spreadsheet and pics. It's amazing how little you paid for that amount of Lego, and even more so when compared to the BL and S@H prices. You could make a lot of money by just stopping at PaB and reselling the pieces on BL. Looks like I'm going to have to make a stop at the Lego store soon, I need those new pieces.
  24. This: It's a remix of the original song, but it's better in some ways. I also think the video is awesome (specifically animated for this music video, I think).
  25. Which printing? As you can see in my pictures, the soldier torsos luckily are not pinked, though what you're experiencing is not unheard of. This was actually pretty common with some Star Wars clone troopers, and it does suck that this happens.
