  1. Oh. In that case I will just attack the Spear Guard from the front row. Is this okay?
  2. Hybros followed Eric's lead and took out his own bottle of Venom. He poured out the whole bottle onto his scythe, and stowed the glass container. I will attack the Shadeaux Guard (Spear) from the front row.
  3. So forgive me if this is obvious or has been answered, but assuming you combined enough gems into your weapon, could you potentially be super powerful against all types? Or would the strengths and weaknesses of all the elements cancel each other out, and defeat the purpose of having gems in the first place? Also, are Mages the only ones who can cause damage to an undead monster, since normal attacks are ineffective? Even if I fused a Light gem into my weapon? Oh, I forgot their price and thought they were 300 at the time. Thanks for answering all of my questions, I know it's a lot.
  4. Plus, even if Petr died last night, I would still think that you obtained a result on who targeted him. Vote: Ruxana (Roncanator)
  5. There's no way you could've known. I thought for sure we would've defeated those vermin right away.
  6. Well, those last two rounds weren't so great. Somehow we had the worst luck that time, especially with Rufindel going first and scoring Miracle, before we took damage. That's just our luck, though. On to the second aisle, then.
  7. Oh, no, that's horrible! Whoever the poisoner is, I advise they be more careful next time, townies are dropping like flies now. RIP, Barbara. I still think Ruxana is the one to be lynched today. She's had plenty of opportunities to speak up. I've even seen her reading the thread watching us talk without saying a word. I think she knows she's as good as dead. Still, I would like to hear if she has anything to say.
  8. So the term witch, here, I take is gender-less? Thanks for telling me though, I'm really looking forward to those advanced classes now. That reminds me of a few questions I had regarding item swapping: - Since you're allowing it between players, could someone sell an item for more than what it would sell for at the shop, but less than for what it would cost to buy at the shop? For example, I gained an elemental gem from quest three, but since Rogues generally have no use for such things, could I sell it to a Mage for 200 gold? I'd be making a profit, and the Mage wouldn't have to spend as much. - If someone wanted to make a new character, could they, as the old character, give all of their items to hold on to, then the holder would give it back to them as the new character? I'm guessing not, but you never know what someone might do.
  9. By the way, I've just noticed that Stanislav was "disoriented" after walking in front of the deli last night. Why is this, do you think? Could he have been targeted by both the hitman and the poisoner?
  10. Yeah, exactly. The two sides are not symmetrical, but I still think it's a cool design.
  11. Apparently it could be felt all the way in Milwaukee... but I didn't feel a thing. Glad to hear there was minimal damage, though.
  12. Thanks for the review, Masked. I personally don't mind the asymmetry of the ship, but I'll still pass. Back in the day (AKA 2005) this set would've gone for 10 USD, but I know it's never going to be like that again. The only reason I would get this set is for the minifigures. The prints have greatly improved over the previous CW prints, and I wish they were this good when CW sets first started in 2008. Anakin's is especially nice, and looks more like an improved version of his 2005 torso than one of the CW version (which is a good thing. I still prefer a hood to the small horn headgear, but that's easily fixed. Not that I ever liked the idea of a Maul clone, but now I'm just ranting.
  13. Great review, Inky! This is truly a classic set from one of the four evergreen themes, with many play features and cool minifgs. I absolutely love that unique baseplate, and you sure can't go wrong with conquistadors. That helmet piece is probably one of my favorite headgear accessories of all time. The chrome armor is nice, too. Oh, now I get the joke.
  14. Thanks for the geat review, Rufus. All of those colorful basic bricks would definitely come in handy if you needed more colors to aid the building of a MOC. I also really enjoyed viewing your unique creations. My favorite was the dragon on his pile of treasure. I think the red head looks fine, I seem to remember one like it from somewhere...
  15. Nice review, as always, Cloney. It was really interesting to see the contrast between this Hogwarts and the new one almost a decade later. It really goes to show how much Lego, or any product for that matter can change in a short period of time. In some ways, though, I like this castle better than the newer versions. While it may not be as smooth-looking and sophisticated as the new Hogwarts, it still has that retro charm with all of the play features and details.
  16. Thanks for the review, Fangy. It seems you have quite a different opinion on the set than I did in my review, but that's the purpose of having more than one opinion, right? This will remain my favorite PotC set for the time being, and now that you mention it, it would go well with the MMV. Now all I need to do is put my MMV back together, along with the big castle from the fantsay line so that I can make a nice courtyard and castle town. Maybe the new mill set from the Kingdoms line would go will with this set, too?
  17. I thought the same thing. As I was reading down the list of classes, I thought 'It's gotta be one of these three', and I ended up choosing Rogue. It seems the Knight is pretty powerful though, so I can't blame those who chose it. True, I never thought of it that way. Though from the hints we've been given about advanced classes, the Necromancer (Cleric/Rogue hybrid) sounds appealing. Maybe once they're all revealed after someone reaches level 15, we'll see a change in class choice.
  18. Well, it seems we've had some interesting revelations already today. I, for one, am inclined to believe Samuel (and Stanislav) at this point. And with this new information, Ruxana seems like the likely suspect. Denis is a bit suspicious as well. As for the killings yesterday, Ruxana had to have been lying about Donil killing Yuri. Maybe he had targeted her, hell, maybe he was telling the truth about being a reporter, scum though he may have been. But if he had killed Yuri, that would mean that the Russian Mafia has two killers, since it has already been determined that Max killed Elena. Which I find to be highly unlikely, though we can't cross out that possibility. One thing that doesn't fit here is Dmitri and his claim of investigator. If Stanislav knew he was the investigator, why is he sure that he's scum? I wish Stanislav would've explained this more before he died (RIP). Of course, I'm inclined to believe Dmitri now since he claimed to have investigated me and found me innocent. Maybe that was his intention, maybe it wasn't and he is telling the truth. I don't know, but I think we have bigger fish to fry than him today. Meaning, more likely suspects.
  19. Thanks for the updated statistics, Sandy. What I found most interesting was the number of people who picked the same ages. What is also alarming is the lack of Clerics. Perhaps an incentive for more people to join as Clerics would be the fact that they would get into quests easier (since there are so few of them).
  20. I will attack the white rat from the back row. (Seeing as they'll be defeated even if we hit them from the back row, there's no point in taking extra damage if we're attacked).
  21. Boomingham, I think you're forgetting about the free hit that any un-targeted enemy gets on us. I think we should each target a different one, with an extra hit on the big one (which I'm guessing causes more damage to us). I will attack the Brown Rat from the Front Row.
  22. The feck?! Donil was Mafia?! Oh, how I was completely and stupidly fooled. I'm a complete idiot. :wall: He had me going that entire time. Why oh why was I so stupid? I am sincerely sorry for my idiocy, friends. I know that because of my actions yesterday, I may be the target for today, and so be it. I have nothing to hide, I did trust Donil completely, foolishly. And now Stanislav and Petr are dead. Feck! At least, I must thank those of you who were smart enough to see through Donil's lies and smartly lynch him yesterday. I am glad we are rid of his plague, for I am sure that I would've been manipulated by him further.
  23. Thanks for the review, Cloney. I've vowed not to buy any more Lego sets for at least a while, but I'm having a really hard time resisting this one. The models are fantastic, as well as the minifigs. Obi's face and torso prints especially. Such a great set, SW is definitely improving.
  24. Apparently so! Good thing Zepher rolled Shield, otherwise I would've been toast.
  25. Ow, that hurt. Thanks for healing me, Rufindel. I'm happy to let Atramor have the Chain Whip. I agree, Aisle 1 seems like the most logical choice.
