  1. I am! I'm Sicilian! ...why are we sharing our ethnicities? Anyway, nice to see you again Pelly. Any riddles for us? No, just kidding, I hate your riddles. You should've been around earlier, though, there was puzzles and solitaire and more poop!
  2. Not with Cam though, he probably pooped in the pillow cases.
  3. "Perhaps that gong does something...." Hybros plays the gong and attacks the Heavenly Vision again. Battle Order Namyrra Hybros Hybros Namyrra
  4. In my opinion it doesn't hurt to speculate, so long as we're not dead-set on the first conclusion we reach. A might big assumption that I made because you showed no deliberation in your posts whatsoever, and mayor'd Flare pretty early in the day. How would I know that? I usually go inactive when I'm doing other things, but again that point I made is the least important. To me, it just seemed like you were lurking. I can see you just trying to catch up, but it seemed like a very long time of you reading the thread without posting (as in, all day). I still don't find that good reasoning for mayoring him though. Especially considering you can't unmayor. Nah, you're names are similar to me. PD/DP, I get them mixed up. And you're both decent new players. But I've got it straight now, I think. I find this confusing as well. TinyP's mayor vote was somewhat justified (as he explained earlier), but Zepher? I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind it.
  5. Recently discovered these guys - some of the best new music that I've heard.
  6. To clarify about my confusion on PirateDave/DarthPotato, Piratedave did bring up Flare as one of several of the quieter ones among us for a mayoral candidate. My thoughts exactly... at least we know what's up now. With that cleared up I will Vote: Darkdragon ...with good reason. Better reasoning than with Flare or Big Cam in my opinion, at least. She's been saying some really odd stuff, such as wanting to discuss an SK/psycho more than a scum killer, claiming one is more of a threat than the other. Really, there's no reason to not discuss anything. I can sort of see where she may have been coming from by wanting discuss something in particular in order to get a read on other people (and their thoughts on the SK, or whatever killer we're assuming it to be), but not saying that discussing the scum kill is a waste of time. Then there's the business with Flare and how she and Hinckley both mayor'd him right away. I still don't understand why you'd use your single mayor vote right away without second thoughts. On top of that, some noticed that she was online all of yesterday but didn't really say much. I know this is a secondary concern, and something that should not be read into too closely, but I know that when I'm "busy" I'm not clicking on EB at least once every 20 minutes so that I'm on the active user list. Again, not very important, I know, but something worth at least pointing out.
  7. The Packers' loss was really disappointing. Now the only team to root for is the Ravens.
  8. Hm? So you're saying that he posts normally in the night threads (we'll have more after Night 0 I assume), and posts nonsense in the day threads? Did I miss where he said this?
  9. But you did bring it up? Or was that PirateDave? Gah! I just don't think either lynch candidate is a good choice. Big Cam because it looks like he may be a victim of a roleplay action, and I think Flare is town whose death won't give us much information. The only other alternatives that I would be willing to vote for are those who were quick to jump on the bandwagons today. Darkdragon, and Zepher, i think it was for the Flare mayoral vote, badboy and Big Cam (although the latter, again, with the RP situation) for the Flare lynch vote, or some others who've been flying under the radar. I want to try to confirm that Big Cam is in fact a target of an action (that makes him useless) before I make a decision. At least I'm being careful with my vote, and not gambling it away.
  10. So, lots to catch up on. No football and Gangster Squad during mafia? Maybe the latter would count as mafia.... Anyways. These all seem like really good points to me. I have no problem saying that def would be a total dick for putting an action in the game that forces the target to be completely useless and unhelpful the next day. I think it's more likely (yes I still have some faith in you, def ) that Big Cam is using it as an excuse to be unhelpful. However, I think he's trying to tell us something in this post: Maybe the action does prevent him from saying anything? Big Cam, if you agree with that, pee your pants. Or something... I will have to agree with TinyP and Dragonator here, I don't see how lynching Flare would be beneficial to us. It's not his fault for being elected mayor, and in no way was he trying to be it before DarthPotato, Hinckley, and Darkdragon brought him up. Yes, his actions have changed and have perhaps been more suspicious since then, but maybe he just has no idea of what is going on. Even so, I would have no problem lynching him, but I still don't see how telling it would be of people who voted for him for mayor. So let's cry about it? Being afraid of being scrutinized or not listened to is still not an excuse for not speaking up. I think I'll hold on to my vote for a bit longer. I'll wait to see if Big Cam pees his pants or otherwise confirms that he's forced to be useless today. If he can't do that, then maybe Flare is our best option for today, even if it's not a very good option at all, IMO. We've seen some telling behavior from the people around him, maybe lynching him will clear up some of those suspicions. I still don't think he's scum, though.
  11. Why is everyone so keen on dooming us all? Hybros wondered. "Cinna, Namyrra and I can handle this. The less chance that bard has to disarm us, the better. The others will need your help, too."
  12. The emerald picked from the tree glowed in Hybros' hands. He was certainly starting up a collection of the gems that held a power similar to that of his ancient ancestors. "Now would be a good time to split up, eheh... Namyrra and I will take these two, the rest of you should move on." Hybros nods at Namyrra, indicating that they will use their strategy that they have used in the Pagoda. He attacks the Heavenly Vision from the front row with his Twin Kunai with both turns, directing one blade at his target and the other at the Iron Flute. Battle Order: Namyrra Hybros Hybros Namyrra Cinna Tesni Christopher Tarn
  13. I agree, and it gives random people more power. Def said we'd be playing a better game tomorrow, but I'd definitely be hesitant to wager my vote. In other news, what's up with Big Cam? Why has he been talking like a baby all day? Too much rum in the Pirates forum, or a result of a night action? As hilarious as it is, why do have such an action in this game, if that was the cause?
  14. Fair enough. I do admit that I was sticking around trying to solve the puzzle, as were a few others including yourself. I had the same hopes to solve it before anyone else, but no such luck. Like I said earlier today, the only way someone would've gotten the right answer when we had so few pieces is if they had piece(s) of their own, so that's why I think the scum got it tonight. Or, of course, they read PirateDave's post and Googled it/Dave solved it.
  15. Very cool! The trans-clear pieces add an unexpected element that add to a certain artistry of the MOC.
  16. Yes, thank you. I get the D's mixed up. Yeah, you are a tool. If you recall the reason why I thought it would be a good idea, it was so that the town had a better chance to piece the puzzle together. We're all alone, and the scum's best tactic, I would think, would be to withhold their pieces until later or not at all. Since the separate scum teams are working among themselves, they had an advantage if they had more than one piece of the puzzle between them. Since some people already started to reveal them, it would be the best interest of the town to reveal the pieces and solve it as quickly as possible. I also put myself under the suspects category by claiming I didn't have a piece. I was hoping to narrow down the number of people withholding pieces so that we might've gained some suspects. Well I'm one of them, so, uh, good on you for accusing me? I also find it suspicious that you withheld your piece for so long, and then decided to reveal the puzzle pieces you had put together. If you really had disagreed with me about revealing all the pieces, then why did you do that?
  17. Or he could be scum playing in front, a common and valid tactic. Let's not rule out any possibilities here. By no means do I think Cornelius has given us a towntell... but I think it's worth a shot to just elect him anyway. It's not an all-powerful role, and maybe it will tell us things as far as behavior and actions. Who knows? Mayor: CorneliusMurdock Erm, no one has heard of the psychopath role? It's not on MafiaWiki anymore as it's own page, but it's definitely a variation a Serial Killer that can be "cured" by the psychiatrist. It's been used on Eurobricks before, too. If I may share my own personal, general thoughts right now, I think Darkdragon's behavior is a little odd. I agree with Hinckley that not wanting to discuss certain things because they're a waste of time, or whatever she said, is pointless. Discussion is everything, and that's exactly what we do with our time so I don't really see how we'd be "wasting" it by discussing the SK (who, according to DD is of higher concern...) instead of the scum. I also agree with TinyP that we cannot eliminate the possibility that DarthPotato got the correct answer before posting his advice. He could have been entirely transparent, or it was a scum ploy to seem transparent. That much is unclear, but I'm not letting my suspicions down because of this action.
  18. I think Cecile was killed by an SK because of the psycho killer business. Plus, death by chandelier seems more manical than by chainsaw, but that's just me.
  19. The 1970s music is too much for me to handle! And we're down two townies before the game even started. At least we can hope that a townie putting the pieces together got the immunity tonight... However, given the limited number of pieces I'm led to suspect the scum kept the pieces for themselves, and waited until enough townies revealed pieces in order to solve it. I, for one, could not see the question, which seemed to relate to 1977, I'm guessing it asked what song from Talking heads.
  20. The 96 Dell in the corner has MS Paint, I'm pretty sure.
  21. Foooooooooog! Congrats! I know you'll continue to do your best.
  22. Or maybe def made me the only one without a piece just to watch me burn. That is, if everyone had a piece and decided to show it. In all seriousness, though, I think it would be the most beneficial if everyone showed their pieces. The scum will try and take advantage of this as much as they can by not showing their pieces, and having the advantage of more pieces (if they have pieces, which I would assume they do). The best we can do is to share them out, narrow down who claims to not have a piece, and hope a townie gets the immunity for Night 1. Magic wand is your friend!
  23. I think Seattle will destroy Atlanta. The Falcons have been having easy schedules, it's no wonder they're in the playoffs all the time. The NFC South was pretty bad this year, too. Disappointing, at the very least. I will root for the Texans, but honestly I have no idea of either team's chances. I'll lean towards Denver for their explosive offense (as good as Baltimore's defense is, they didn't look all that great last week). As for the Pack, Saturday's game will be a tough one. The 49ers and the Giants are the two teams that seem to have us figured out, but at least this time around we'll have Woodson, Nelson, and Matthews (as well as most of our other good players). A rematch between Seattle and Green Bay is what I'm hoping for. Revenge for Week 3.
  24. Yes the puzzle is coming together nicely now... does that Dell have Myst? I wanna play while I wait for more pieces.
