  1. Hybros materialized in the Fountain Room, struggling to hold back his nostrums that he drank earlier. He was not used to such magic... or was it technology? He looked behind and saw Jun appear as well. Thinking it would be good to eat something to quell his stomach, Hybros pulled out the two chicken drumsticks he found in the kitchen. He didn't eat much meat, but it would have to do. He began to eat the drumsticks as he asked Jun, "So, how will we know which water is poisonous? Will we have to test it?" Battle Order: Hybros Hybros Jun Xut Namyrra Tesni Cinna Tarn Christopher OOC: I forgot to mention earlier that imps are actually mostly herbivorous, eating mainly leaves, berries, bark, and sometimes bugs. It doesn't really matter, but since you, Sandy, said earlier "imps aren't herbivores after all".
  2. Hmm, I think there are "generations", but they definitely do cross over enough so as to not divide people. From what I can see: - "Original" heroes: Remaining Test Questers, anyone who joined at the start of the game and is still active now. - Group of heroes that joined slightly after the start, like Skrall, Haldor, Jebs, Cinna, and De'kra (although I've always considered Skrall more of a first-gener). - A little bit later, maybe in the "teens" quests", Guts, Nerwen, Arthur, etc. (although Guts is almost at the same level as many of the original heroes while Nagure is still a basic class, I guess it depends on how active you are and how many battles you do). - Heroes that joined around the 40's quests, like Thalion, Wedge, and Dreyrugr. - Newest wave, with Brickington, Amma, herrJJ, etc.
  3. "Well it sounds like this is our solution to the fountain room... I have a feeling that we will also need to get the Unreastrained together with his wife, hehe... If I, eh, use this device to travel up there with Jun, the rest of you can finish the Holy Fire and begin opening the pipes. I can also try to have the Restrained up there follow me back down here. Do we have a plan? Eheh..." Without waiting for a response, Hybros pulls out the Gate Viarja and teleports to the fountain room with Jun. He also retrieves his weapons. Battle Order: Jun Hybros Hybros Xut Namyrra Tarn Tesni Cinna Christopher OOC: Sandy, I think you forgot to double Cinna's health due to re-equipping the rod.
  4. Yeah, shaman surprised me too. Sage would have been cool, but shaman is even better. You're only the second one, Chromeknight, so I'm interested to see another strategy/take on the class.
  5. Hybros nodded as his allies prepared for battle, then fetched the wrench and star coin from the Jade Crafstman with a snarl. Served him right - even a slave was there on his own will. He chose to fight, even if it was only when the heroes refused to release him. Coward. To turn his back on his own people, enslaved or not... although, his kinship was apparently against his will, he lacked freedom. Or did he? Was he just as free to walk away from it all, with or without the heroes? Hybros reflected on his past decision with Reno Bonaparte, nearly a year ago. That had changed in the course of the seasons. Many things had changed. Reflecting for a moment on what he believed, Hybros contemplated what he was doing in the Pagoda. To gain the trust of the Ji Pei... but he had not been the least bit loyal to Jun. "Can these people really help me...?" he whispered to himself. "...more importantly, can I help myself... heh." The Holy Fire swung its blade at Hybros, who quickly dodged. The 108-enemy battle was still going on, he had forgotten. Quickly pushing aside his thoughts for the time being, Hybros refocused on the matter at hand, gripping his weapon and preparing for a swift strike.
  6. "Okay, everyone focus on the Holy Fire now, except for Tarn who is focused on the Unrestrained. If we somehow defeat the Tiger and the Fire this round, leave the Unrestrained, for I fear he will disappear on us again, eheh..." (OOC: Conditional actions stating you will not attack the Unrestrained if your target is defeated.) Hybros drew his Eye-Poking Sai and attacked the Holy Fire from the front row, twice. Jun attacks the Holy Fire and the Green-Eyed Tiger from the front row. Battle Order: Hybros Hybros Jun Tesni Namyrra Tarn Christopher Cinna
  7. Waterbrick Down - Out of curiosity, are you still planning on having a live quest at BrickWorld?
  8. OOC: Well in that case... Hybros changes his mind. Instead of throwing his cog he runs over to the grey valve on the pipe that the Holy Fire is sitting on and turns it, before throwing his bladerang at the Jade Craftsman. Battle Order: >Hybros >Jun >Hybros >Cinna Tesni Tarn Christopher >Namyrra
  9. Sometimes, if they're nice... Other times, QMs will just take the characters they want if they close sign-ups first without discussing with other QMs. On another note, I would like to see that AC guide again, Flipz, if you can find it. I think a lot of people would find it useful, if only as a guideline. You don't have to use the same strategy for your class that would seem the most effective. Oftentimes the best strategies come from finding what works for your character in particular, not necessarily your class. Your items, experience, and roleplay choices all play a part in how you shape your character battle mechanic-wise, and I think figuring that out is one of the best parts of the game.
  10. OOC: Shouldn't Cinna redirect the fire ring damage to herself with the Pheles Rod? "Leave the Unrestrained, he poses little threat to us now." Hybros throws his Bladerang and Cog at the Craftsman again with renewed strength. Jun attacks the Jade Craftsman and the Holy Fire. Battle Order: Jun Hybros Hybros Cinna Tesni Tarn Christopher Namyrra
  11. That or the fact that you smell funny keeps people at a safe distance...
  12. Very cool world map Sandy - now QMs have a lot to expand on!
  13. "He is one of them, how can you not see that!? He begs for mercy, yet he still fights alongside them. Jun, what do you think?" Hybros shouted, clenching his wounds. He uses a Health Core on himself and a Grand Potion on Jun. Jun repeats his attack. Battle Order: Cinna Hybros Hybros Tarn Jun Tesni Christopher Namyrra
  14. 5. Duh-Nuh - madLEGOman - 1 point 15. Chicken Moonbase - vecchiasignoraceppo - 1 point 16. Froghead - Yatkuu - 1 point 36. The Source of All Ants - Ryclen - 1 point 37. rEvolution - zane_houston - 1 point

  16. "Not a chance, orc." Hybros tells the Jade Craftsman. "We are here to defeat every last one of you." Turning to his allies, Hybros commands, "Tarn, Jun, focus your strength on the Craftsman with me. Tesni will take the Fire, Christopher can handle the Tiger." Hybros throws his Bladerang and Cog at the Jade Craftsman from the back row, and Jun attacks the Crafstman and Holy Fire from the back row. Battle Order: Jun Tesni Tarn Hybros Hybros Christopher Namyrra Cinna
  17. Is it just me or have some of the mafia tags changed weapons? It seems like the Luger/Nambu has changed to a Lego revolver, at least for some people.
  18. Hybros leads the party through the second door. Same BO.
  19. I believe it was scrolls only. I see no problem with imbuing gems into shields. Minmax away - it's one of the best parts of the game, IMO. It's a great challenge and I like finding strategies that work.
  20. Turning to Tesni, Hybros replied "You might as well bring along a phoenix essence, just in case, but it is your gold." He then turns to lead his party through the next door.
  21. "We should probably stock up on potions, tonics, and Phoenix essences, eheh... Sham, I'll take three of your essences and two remedies. Then anyone not buying anything should follow me."
  22. Very impressive - especially considering you didn't use decals. I would be really interested to learn how you customized the bow (i.e. removing the "string" and arrow).
  23. "No need to worry about Sham here, Cinna. He is the son of Schazerade, and will not harm us. Although I think you will need that Golden Key to open the chest, eheh." Hybros picks up his Bladerang that fell near the cell, and tries opening the cell door. "Come on out, Sham." Same BO.
  24. Except the cursing scum didn't know us, so that was not the intention.
