  1. I had thought of something similar, too, but what is basically comes down to is freeing up the spot you would use for Counterstrike Gloves. Ah, foiled. I'll have to think of something different, then.
  2. It's not often we get a new member living in Africa - very cool! Welcome to Eurobricks.
  3. Hybros retrieves his Bladerang and throws it at the Ugly Prince again. Jun repeats his attack. Same BO.
  4. I also agree with Shadows' point about this game feeling a lot like the earlier mafia games - similar to the days of Noir and MCII for me. It might have been more lenience on metagaming, quoting, and roleplaying, or some other factor. But for better or for worse it was a really good feeling and another thing that added to the fun.

    Post your own art

Hilarious journals, as usual def. And really cool sculpture, Anticyclone! Yes, there are many LoZ fans here, including myself. I haven't played SS yet, but the mixture between Wind Waker's cel-shaded animation and Twilight Princess' realistic art is instantly recognizable.
  6. Oh, and we knew that the watcher was Big Cam as soon as Hinck/Scouty quoted the PMs. Theres.nothing.like.Cams.phone.posts. And I hate to add insult to injury, but even with TinyP contacting Alopex (after Shadows did), it was still a poor claim. You got the wrong team, and made a claim that we knew would be false from the beginning of the game. Sorry.
  7. Oh, I wanted to say this to you Cam: while in this setup you allowed the scum to win, in a normal setup you would've been a huge asset to the town. I've played watcher or some variant of it at least three times, and I've never been really effective with it. If the scum teams didn't have to unite, you would've killed a lot of scum with your strategy. So don't feel discouraged.
  8. I have to agree with def here, at least about the tailor role being balanced. The role says specifically that a tailor "tailors" the cop's results to his liking. So, reversing the results. We did know exactly what the role would do, that was NOT luck. We got lucky targeting the right person at the right time, and that has nothing to do with game mechanics. Now onto some personal thoughts of several players I had interaction with - Alopex, you lurked in thread, which is usually frowned upon but it worked for you this game, at least for most of it. It was my fault that you got killed, ordering the block on Pandora instead of Big Cam at the last minute, but you still won with us. I wish that you and Amy had expressed your thoughts and advice in PM a little more, it felt like I was on my own for a little while. But during your time getting lynched, you were very helpful and helped us to victory. Iamded, same thing with the lurking and being kind of quiet in PM. I would have appreciated your thoughts a little more, although I understand if you didn't really know what to do. It just would've been nice to have someone bounce ideas off of. It was still fun playing with you, though. Tammo, I was so glad when we were able to convert you. You were more active and expressed yourself a lot more in PM, so it was really nice to have someone to talk to (more often). I'd say you've really improved your game over the last few. Adam, I was also very impressed with you, for the short time you were with us. I remember you being a good player back in the old days of EB mafia, before you left for a while, but I wasn't sure how well you'd do after such a long hiatus. You did great, and you saw things that I did not, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Really nice job. DarthPotato - Uh, congrats on winning? Sorry you were with us for such a short amount of time. Hinckley and CallMePie - well, I didn't get away from all your suspicions, but I still feel bad for duping you. I still meant what I said in PM, besides the fact that I was town. Shadows, Nightshroud, and Badboy - glad we could win together! You already know this, but we didn't trust you until the very last day. You guys also played a great game, and killed wisely. The biggest thing that could've done us in this game (besides revealing ourselves to a townie) would have been you killing us. So good job not doing that. I am curious about your claim that all of your messages were on Steam, though. I think that's everyone... Scouty, I already addressed your suspicions on me.
  9. Dumb luck. We were actually trying to frame him, thinking that he was town. That's why we played so offensively instead of defensively; our reasoning was that we would protect any of our other teammates from investigation OR frame townies by targeting other people instead of ourselves. We actually did know most of the power roles by Day 3 or so. We knew Pandora had something important, either Cop or Vig, Trumpet was probably the vig, TinyP we figured was the protector or tracker, Socuty had already claimed day doctor, I got miller out of Pie... That left Hinck as the blocker (who had died already), but that wasn't important by the time we realized it. The town gave us a lot of information this game. As for your second question, yes, we figured only vanillas would be recruitable. Tammo and Adam seemed vanilla to us. So did DarthPotato, but we also used our converting role to investigate, as well. It was useful for know which players were either scum or had a power role. I know it was scummy. And I knew you'd think it was. But not Pie. He trusted me too much.
  10. And like, three of the town pegged as scum, too!
  11. Oh, yes, I remember catching wind of your suspicions, too. Good thing you were dead. The "beacon" was unintentional, a scumtell, I guess. Hey, when did I say bad? You helped us greatly! But seriously, it was Tammo who first thought you were the vig. You went after badboy in thread one day, and the next night he was dead. It also seemed like the vig didn't quite know what they were doing, with the targets you picked. No offense, of course. We were still afraid that you had hooked up with the town block after that badboy kill.
  12. Oh, I wasn't being sarcastic. I knew I'd have trouble with Scouty since he first expressed his suspicions about me, and I'm surprised I didn't have more. It seems that he was the only one, though, and maybe Pandora. You, though, Pie... I almost messed up our whole game on you. I thought for sure that you were the sword killer, and I almost revealed myself. Good thing you trusted me and didn't ask any questions. Oh, right.
  13. Ah, so TinyPies was the vig? Good thing we didn't rest on that because we had it pinned on Tumpetking the whole time.
  14. Assassinate who? Exactly, except Docken's SP wouldn't help one bit. All I need is to get that Cobweb Cowl back. I forgot how badass that party was. Gruffington part II coming up? Anyways, no idea how Hybros got brought into this king of Eubric stuff. He has no intention of ruling anybody, either.
  15. Woo! How was that last day for a twist? I won't go into detail about everything until a little bit later, but I just wanted to say thanks so much to def for hosting. I really had a blast playing. The game itself, along with your great MOCs and hilarious narrative, really made this game special. And sorry you had to put up with some of our (my) shit. The frustration wasn't directed at you, but believe me when I say that all things considered, I really had an awesome time. Of course you did. You should have lynched me when you had the chance...
  16. "Sham?! Captured again, I see... eheh. Do not worry, we will get you out. Tesni, I think that Pale one could use a taste of Zoot!" Hybros throws his Bladerang at the Ugly Prince from the back row. If he fails the first time, he will try again, but otherwise will throw his Cog at the same target. Jun attacks the Pale Gaoler and the Hairy Star from the back row. Battle Order: Hybros Hybros Cinna Namyrra Tarn Tesni Christopher Jun
  17. You're right. Are the scum bluffing? Do we still have a chance?
  18. What. The. Hell. It's over then?
  19. Oh... I have always rounded down... Guess I need to change because I've always had a hard time remembering that. As for the SP and back row thing, if it's not in the FAQ could it please be added?
  20. Hybros looks through the crate of vegetables for anything useful, then leads the party through the left door. Jun follows. Same BO.

    Lego and cats

Not a problem if you post videos like that. I have two cats myself. One is older and pretty calm/lazy that never had an interest in my Lego pieces, but my year-old energetic (and fat!) cat steals anything he can get his paws on. If I leave pieces on the floor unattended some will go missing for sure. He even jumped up on a shelf with Lego displayed once, which is a big leap for such a fat cat. He also likes to steal other things, like remote controls and food off the table ( ). I've never had a problem with the cats chewing or swallowing pieces, and I get them back eventually. Usually they're only the smallest parts, too.
  22. Oh, I was under the impression that there would be one guaranteed Hex (on the target enemy), and then 1/2 for all others. 1/2 for all makes things simple, and I suppose it's worth a shot.
  23. But even that seems very powerful. Originally I was going to say that doing the extra dice rolls would add more to a QM's checklist when running rounds, but then so does having Hex last three rounds.
  24. Poor you guys. Maybe the Lucky Die has a hidden jinxed effect in it, and they're not as OP as we thought? Yes, versatile but not powerful. Choose one. But yes, I see what you're saying now. The main problem I have with an AoE Hex is that it might be too powerful. Would having the Hex last three rounds be reasonable?
  25. But that's exactly what I'm saying - the class is so versatile and powerful in it's other aspects that it's Shield doesn't need much of a boost. And those aren't really fair comparisons. You can fight from the back row, too. Many enemies are immune to OHKO, so Assassins are severely crippled in boss fights, and I think one enemy in the history of Heroica has been immune to poisoning so far. You can hex one enemy any time you roll shield, but by no means do assassins cut through enemies. The gold is nice, yes, but it looks like Witches will be getting that soon, too. Without OHKO, an Assassin is next to useless because they don't deal a great amount of damage, can't heal, and can't use shields. Witches can also use scrolls. Each class has its own strengths and weaknesses, and while I haven't played as a Witch, I think they can do a lot of things for all situations, even if they're not the most powerful. IMO, they trade strength for versatility, so I think maybe that's why Hex is considered underpowered. I was going to suggest you buy nostrums as a substitute for SP, but I forgot you had a lucky die. Even that's not helping.
