  1. Here's what I'd like to see: Animal Battle Pack - Totaling 14 points. 1 x Saw Shark = 5 points 1x narwhal= 5 points 1 x parot brace = 1 point 2 x seagul = 2 point 1 x toucan = 1 point gotta make some parrot braces but maybe to alter the Epaulette to include a stud at one end, genius!
  2. wow I would deffo get a few packs of these, pack out a zoo, :D tho if they did some other birds other than the different coloured parots that would be ace deffo need seaguls and albatross's
  3. I was not being totally serious about the whole religion thing. just that people will state a particular item or set would never be produced, when Lego will basically sell whatever they want if it will make lots of money and not get too many parents upset. at the end of the day they are a business. tho I think they should make an ark. as it does appear in so many cultures it is not really religious and there could be a non named minifigure, he does not have to be named Noah. but I doubt it would happen due to parents perception of the story and therefore Lego will probably never do it but never say never.
  4. see you all in the morning bright and early. anyone knows when we can get in the arndale center? or which door opens first?. thanks all see you. :-)
  5. The texture does look like LEGO of days gone by, the older bricks pat pend era type are all like that, and they dont all have lego writen on them, it could be real, If it has Pat pend stamped inside i imagine it will be real....
  6. Ok I understand why they will make most set's the prince of persia was a bit iffy and however cool it would be to have a Shaun of the Dead set I back there stance not to make it. However Religion is there biggest downfall. Advent calendar's (starwars, city etc etc every year) lets have a look wikipedia says "An Advent calendar is a special calendar which is used to count or celebrate the days of Advent in anticipation of Christmas." Oh well what is Christmas? again wikipedia "Christmas or Christmas Day (Old English: Crīstesmæsse, literally "Christ's mass") is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ,[5][6] celebrated generally on December 25[2][3][4] as a religious and cultural holiday " Oh look its religious, also Santa Claus also known as saint nick lets see what a saint is: wiki again "A saint is a holy person.[1] In various religions, saints are people who are believed to have exceptional holiness." Oh look same applies to valentines day as its a saints day. Also Birthdays if we look at the history of such again wiki.... "The Romans enthusiastically celebrated birthdays with hedonistic parties and generous presents.[14] In revulsion, the early Christians rejected the practice as inherently pagan." Also marriage is a highly religious thing just look at the debate in the UK between the church and government about same sex marriage in Churches So Lego now have to stop making Christmas specials, santa minikits, advent calanders, mini-kit hearts or roses for valentines day, no more birthday, cards invites etc etc Wedding favours the bride CMF. town hall set LEGO have let themselves down.
  7. for the cost of two quid why not just build it if you like it, and sell it on for £20.00 as new built your still quids in and get the joy of building a set, or if your really skint stick it on a online auction site with some good photo's. It is a bit ugly as far as sets go but because of the rare coloured pieces could be a better option on Bricklink
  8. Hi All i just got a postcard from lego informing me of a new lego store in Manchester, not like they need another one, Surely there are other cities without a store unlike Manchester which has a store with a Discovery Center. Just thought I'd let everyone know. Also The card entitles the first 500 purchases made by people with the postcard to grab a special gift, (i assume its a minifigure store opening set like the others have had) and the 1st 100 purchases of £25.00 or over each of the 3 day event will get a differnet gift, with or without postcard. (I assume some mini kit) What time do people normally get there to ensure they will get the free gifts, will people camp the night before its only a few mini-figs but would like a set and would hate to miss out, I wont camp to get them but happy to get there a few hours early if there's a few other afols about to chat with etc. Also would hate to get there two hours before opening and look like a complete looser all alone. Anyone have experiences of attending store openings and length of queuees to get in? thanks

Well got the latest account shut down but he sold 6 items or so and payapal wont stop the money going in to his account as they have to abide by there rules and cant interfere till a dispute is opened, I cant open a dispute till the itme has had time to arrive, despite the fact they can see its a scam he wins he will get his money, i will get my money back and so i win, but they lose out by paying him and me, looks like crime really does pay, and paypal couldnt care less!!

  20. not sure what your asking but, keep it a shallow slope. use only 1 plate height differnce to start the slope with in a track piece (16 studs) then 2 plates height change each 16 studs after that. and that should be fine for most trains to climb.
