  1. cant figure out the last one looks like a load of Bee's
  2. If the axles / boogies are on turntables or technic pins then it should go round bends, if there fixed then probably not. the coupling may cause problems if it is being pushed rather than pulled, you could try a friction pin at one end to see if that would work, HTH
  3. Ok lets compare one big sets to 3 smaller sets of the same brick piece 1 Big set = more likely to include exclusive pieces be it chrome/printing etc, only one product to advertise to display on a shelf/webpage, maybe 2 instruction books if its complicated aimed at younger audience or very big. 3 / 4 smaller sets = more packaging and instructions (at least one per box) and more shelf space is needed as well as more advertising / webpages / reviews and a higher price per brick, its therefore not economical! If they were modular like some of the old castle sets that had Technic pins in the end wall to join up, they could be a great thing, as add on's for bigger sets. Also can youimagine who would byy the friends bathroom, much better to have one big house with a modular extension/conservatory. Just my oppinion.
  4. Are my vulture's lego, It looks like maybe an old lego piece but no markings, but then I cant see any on the other birds, Also its about the right scale and has great grip to the stud (better than one of the owl's but its not to tight?) I can't find any reference to one, so what is it if its not lego, I know its a bit dirty its come from a huge collection I got mainly of 70's - 90's lego there were some non lego branded stuff mainly warhammer a few toy cars and a handful of megablocks here's some pics! thanks with there animal friends Tail feathers side view top and bottom Thanks again in advance!!

  6. I'm having it made by a shed company, its a standard design and should be in situ Friday, Will take a bit of time to fill (silicone?) any gaps/crevices snd put in insulation, then its time to sort out shelving, boxes, baseplates, cupboards, desk, chair etc etc, then put lego in!!! Will post some pics when its done tho will prob a week or two till its got any order to it or lego built up!
  7. I agree, tho I have far too many snakes!! theres loads same with rats/mice/spiders, but others are just too rare/expensive I have quite a few horses, cows, birds and a couple of the pigs, polar bears, dragons fish, scorpions, ostrich's, dinos etc. I think we need a City Zoo. to bring down prices or a Noah's Ark but even if you have 10 horses it is still very little, drive past any farm with horses you can often see 5 - 10 in one field and as for cows pigs sheep many farms will have hundreds and then they are all in the same pose. at least new horses are coming.
  8. Unfortunatley there really is no room in the house, I may have some things in the house on display and some lego for the kids, The shed will be newly built, so there are no criters as yet, it will be sealed where possible to keep wind and bugs out (Tho I'm not sure of the best way to do this, thinking expanding foam if needed and silicone sealant), then it will be insulated and will have an alarm and hidden at the back of the garden, there are two other sheds and a greenhouse for bikes sledges mowers plants pots etc, so this is just mine. Its not perfect, but a lot cheaper than a conservatory or brick built out house, but at the moment with a 8 month old baby I cant get the lego out inside very ofen as like most young children he just puts in in his mouth. I did consider the loft (attic) but its very cramped up there about 4 foot high at the highest point and sorting / storage would be a pain at least the shed is 8 foot high and 6 foot at the lowest point, lots of shelving!!
  9. No I'm not getting a shed made from Lego, tho that would be great, I'm getting a new shed just for Lego, It will be insulated, sealed and it will have power and an alarm and lots of storage / sorting / display type stuff, its 80 square foot and hopefully gunna get lots of use. I'm not trying to make you all jealous just thought I would share. Also it might get very cold / hot outside any storage tips for extremes of weather, tho in winter I may have a small heater on when im in there. Still strugling with the whole storage and sorting thing tho, I have far too much to just do it by colour or set, theres over 700 mini figs currently and probably a few hundred kilos of bricks, Arrghhh I need to sort, but YEAH I have somewhere to sort
  10. fantastic work, but why the double crossover track almost instantly after a point, it seams unnessasary, you could use one or the other, is it for show or is it how they are in real life? just curious
  11. epic work, love the tyres I didnt realise straight away and then it hit me, there was like nearly 30 tyres in there, well done
  12. I bought an extra 64 pieces of ebay at about 10.00 posted (cant resist a bargain) but I like the 9v trains i have so I try and avoid them. but with the double crossover's I bought (they were new and only £22.00 for a set posted) I may just move to powerfunctions and limit the 9v to one loop or so. I wouldnt as yet buy anymore on there own but maybe in the future!!
  13. As already said its far better than either official set, I own the white R/C set and dont mind it too much but that nose is annoying, and did have a red PF set but hated the look, Well done Sir,
  14. Built mine last week, great build had loads of fun, wanst gunna use the stickers but eithout them there's a huge grey tile on each side that looks awful!! So i used most of them, the only one's I didnt use are the front and rear one's as they span multiple bricks and it looks fine without them, real impressed and she has a 9v motor underneath, I've not yet run her but intend to, thanks lego.
  15. thirded, there so quirky and fun, just give them nnormal accesories like lightsabers and stormtrooper helmets they look ace, lol
  16. I love this looks soo good, like the pnumatic pistons too very effective use of the light saber hilt, thanks for sharing
  17. I had that car, it was a suzuki swift!! i liked playmobil and always dreamed about the train set's but now i know lego also make train set's which of course are better!!
  18. bought an old minifig (town) a technic fig with helmet and a few odd bits for 0.60 GBP and 2 minatours 3 roman soldiers, sleepy head and skater girl from series 6 CMF's :D
  19. I only have about 320, small compared to some others!
  20. amazing, but as for CUUSOO, its a fantasy, i'm sure lego would not look at this even with 10,000 votes, just think of the price, WOW and its not a real/licenced thing, its just your imagination, its just too grand for lego, there's loads of BIG stuff they could make, more ucs starwars ships, larger modular buildings, architect / sculpture stuff, etc etc. However. it's amazing and you have a real talent and way too much time and patience. I aupplaude you, well done.
  21. I dont know but there was a sprue of flower petals missing from a friends set I purchased recently ((olivia's tree house)mind you it did have an extra stalk) and I bought 3 of the series 6 minifig minatours and one only had one horn instead of 2) :(
  22. Ok due to not being able to use the B/S/T section I have listed this on a well known online auction site, i dont wanna break any rules of self-promotion so have not included a link, thanks for all your help and happy bricking!
  23. Sorry notied and changed them!
  24. ok here's what i found so far and some close ups looks like I cant yet start a new B/S/T topic so I'm open to offers once I can or I may put it on ebay, if that's gunna be a while.
