custom made chromed gold lego
WhiteFang replied to Stanley's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nice and if you are ever going to put it out, I am looking forward to it. I know how complicated can the whole vacuum metalisation process is. Looking forward to see what you are going to do with these. More importantly, I hope the chrome quality will last through medium handling. -
Really nicely designed and certainly putting the World Cup hype higher than ever! Excellent work.

REVIEW: Combat Brick Weapons Presentation
WhiteFang posted a topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hello everyone, Shall we engage in war games? Allow me to share a brand new review from a customiser which some of you are familiar with. This time, I will be looking at some of the selected weapons which is designed and created by Minifigures Customisation Manufacturer, Combat Brick. First of all, I must apologies for this belated review which I have supposed to deliver it last year, but it is never too late to finish up this work-in-progress project, as I have promised Alex, Combat Brick. Thank you Alex for sending me this selection of weapons to let me take a peek. In this review, I will need to highlight that by no means that it will use to serve and compare with other fellow customisers or customisation manufactures. This review intended purpose is meant to serve for illustration, viewing, simplistic informative content for the Eurobricks community. Without further ado, let me give you a brief introduction of Combat Brick which all begin in the United States. Alex, founder of Combat Brick, living equipped with passion and interest of military history, he decided to go an extra mile and begun his customisation journey. By utilising his CAD software and knowledge, he put his design into industrial manufacturing process through ABS injection moulding in order to match similar LEGO quality. Combat Brick Weapon Review In this review, I will be highlighting and sharing the Batch 1: USA Weapons / USSR Weapons. A total of eight weapons will be highlighted through this presentation. Weapons colour are mostly available in either black or dark gray, unless otherwise stated. United States Classic Weapons USSR (Russian) Classic Weapons M4A1 Carbine with M203 grenade launcher The classic M4 Carbine, is a variation from the original with equipped scope to take down enemies from afar and M203 grenade launcher add-on, to pack a punch at the front-line or creating a diversion from its smoke. It has all the basic and advanced features of enforcing the section movement, even though the weigh might be a little too heavy as compared with the basic M16 Assault Rifle. M16 Assault Rifle The basic M16 Assault Rifle, has the shooting calibre of 5.56mm rounds. It has the detailed features such as the forward assist, chamber, aiming scope, etc. It looks real neat and every solider ought to get this basic weapon to fight or defend against the incoming enemies. M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle The M110 is a semi-automatic sniper rifle that enable sniper to be situated behind or to ambush enemies. It may look abit long, but the long barrel allow the round to travel at a much longer distance. M16A2 with M203 grenade launcher The basic M16 Assault Rifle is now equipped with only the M203 grenade launcher variation. It is a common piece of weapon for section movement, where most of the time is held by the Section Leader. It is nicely designed with the details by the side. AKS-74U - Russian Assault Carbine "Krinkov" Now, we visit the USSR counterpart. The AKS-74U is the equivalent of an United States Carbine, and in this case, this is known as Krinkov. This is very useful for operations and engaging enemies in close and tight corners. It certainly looks pretty lightweight and I probably guess it also have high recoil as well. AK-74 with Grenade Launcher - Russian Assault Rifle The AK-74 is a variant that come with the grenade launcher. It is also essential since the opposing enemy also have something similar equipped onto their assault rifles. In this way, during combat, both sides will stand a winning chance. It is definitely a nice touch and not often, we see such good USSR designs as well. SVD - Russian Dragunov Sniper Rifle This Russian Dragunov is the sniper rifle equivalent. I personally find the grip pretty awkward to hold. However, it is lightweight and allow quicker engagement with the enemies. RPG-7 - Russian Rocket Propelled Grenade The classic power packed RPG-7. This is indeed the biggest weapon arsenal in this batch. Definitely useful in all sort of combat especially against a slightly bigger force, a armoured tank or even an aerial helicopter hovering above. Either way, this is definitely most welcomed to have. To conclude, this is a great source to acquire other types of classic United States and USSR (Russian) weapons of your choice to select from in the open market. In my opinion, the pricing is not too steep as I thought it will be. The quality is pretty decent and good. More importantly, it is compatible with existing LEGO minifigures. The grip is tight as well. If you like military stuff or MOCs or even customisation to equip with these type of weapons, you could definitely consider Combat Brick as well. Lastly, I hope you had enjoy this simple reviewing coverage. Pictures can be found in My Flickr. -

Hello legozebra, I am from Singapore. There is no LEGO brand stores in Singapore, instead you will find a good selection of monobrand stores, which specialised in selling LEGO products. There are many of such stores, located all over Singapore in this tiny city island. You may google and refer to some of these major monobrand stores, such as Bricksworld, Brick Empire, Toyhunt, Secret Chamber, The Brick Shop, My Little Brick Shop and Toy Station. Most of these stores which I have listed, have an online presence and will suggest you to check out the Singapore SRP. LEGO is also widely available, in departmental stores in the city including the giant TRUs where there are LEGO exclusive TRU sets. In general, Singapore LEGO set prices are 2 times more expensive as compared to US SRP. You are able to gain access to the latest LEGO product. Typically, you need to have store membership to qualify for their 10% discount on regular priced items. Typically, if you are able to happen to be at the right place at the right time, such as Metro Departmental stores, you will be able to enjoy 20% discount during the Great Singapore Sales in the month of June. Just that, I not sure when will that be. I suggest you not to find discontinued LEGO sets in Singapore and you will probably be best finding it through secondary sources. Unless you have something specific in mind, I can advise you further. As for LEGOLAND Malaysia, LEGO products are 2.5 times more expensive as compared to US SRP. And if you are intending to buy regular sets, it will be best for you to buy them at Singapore. Don't bother to lug it back from Johor to Singapore. Go for exclusive in-store stuff such as polybags, keychains, etc. Things that are light to carry. Bring plenty of shade as shelter and water in LEGOLAND Malaysia is extremely hot and humid. Of course, you can buy them in the park as it is not too expensive as compared to other theme parks which I have been to. If you are unsure of how or plan to go, I encourage you to check out WTS Travel agency, located at the Singapore Flyer, where it provide coach transfer and day pass ticket. Check the website to book or enquire further. Of course, if you are adventurous enough, you can attempt to cross the causeway and navigate yourself from there. Lastly, take care and have fun! Well, the DeLorean is equally nice and it holds well as a class of its own. Placing both vehicles side by side, is really to bring across the unbelievable designs that can be made possible as an official LEGO products for these 1980s Blockbuster movies. Like myself, I enjoy both of these sets equally.

Shouldn't our castle be looking the same? Even though I did make some mistakes in my built as pointed by Calanon.

Review: 60036 Arctic Base Camp (A review in 5 parts)
WhiteFang replied to woofmcmoose's topic in LEGO Town
Wow, that is a very intensive review! Thank you woofmcmoose for sharing this detailed review with us. I am particularly fond of the new huskies and more importantly, I felt the new Arctic sets are so much better in design than its predecessors. I am looking forward to see this new City sub-theme appearing in store. -
Hello everyone, I will like to continue my simplistic informative review after the earlier MOC INTRO REVIEW on the Eurobricks Xtra-Large Yellow Castle. It is more like a simple walkthrough to bring you around to appreciate such wonderful event kits ever created which is only meant for the Eurobricks Eventees. Event Kit - Eurobricks LEGO PAB Store Interior Yippee! The Eurobricks LEGO PAB (Pick a Brick) Store Interior is totally superb! It is sleek and nicely design. All thanks to the Eurobricks witty creative duo, I Scream Clone and CopMike for designing this store vignette scene. With a total of 133 piece count, this set boost the power minifigure galore especially with the new Star Wars Jango Fett! I never had the chance to own Jango and this is certainly the best treat for me. This Eurobricks LEGO PAB Store Interior MOC is also created for the celebration of the Eurobricks Tenth Anniversary for Eurobricks Eventees who are official Eurobricks Registered Members, received one such event kit on the 7 May 2014 in Billund, Denmark. There are a total of 60 copies ever created! Printed AFOL 18+ instructions As highlighted below of the instruction manual, this instructions is provided by Swebrick and Eurobricks Member, Anders67. Thanks guys. A closer look at the store interior The store interior is packed with 9 different exotic round stud colours to represent the actual LEGO colour bricks for buyers to choose their loot. Buyers can choose to use the transparent bags or cups at the side of the PAB wall. Not only that, you get a nice Jango Fett statue for buyers to pose and take picture before paying. Say cheese! That's all and I hope you also equally enjoyed reading this comprehensive coverage!

Yippee! I am very happy and this set is also on my writing table for now, until I can figure a safe haven for it! The whole sorting process is just amazing. Err! What did I mess this time? I actually just finish building it last night! I have missing parts too and I have to take from Belun to compensate from the first set. In addition, I also have to build the second set as well, so I can finalise the list of missing parts before I BL it.

A simple one is definitely possible! Link

Hello everyone, This is not really a review that I always do but instead this is more like an informative introductory review to share this very special MOC which is made available in the Eurobricks Event 2014. Earlier ago, I have actually done up these pictures and posted in the Eurobricks Event Forum, until Peppermint_M prompted me to do more than just pictures. Event Kit - Eurobricks Yellow Xtra-Large Yellow Castle Woo hoo, this is the very exclusive MOC set which is designed by our very own Eurobricks LEGO Ambassador, CopMike. With a whooping total of 1154 pieces count, made up of yellow bricks! Alright, not all of us will be able to have a full set with the right parts but that is part of the whole fun and tiring process of sorting the bricks and parts. I am sure you will find the entire built to be similar with the mother of all castles, which is none other than the 375 Yellow Castle Our own Eurobricks Special Themes Moderator, Rufus have also done a restoration project on the 375 Yellow Castle and all of the intriguing and interesting restoration process, can be found here. This Eurobricks Yellow Xtra-Large Yellow Castle is twice the amount of bricks as compared with the 1978 LEGO version. This exclusive MOC is created for the celebration of the Eurobricks Tenth Anniversary for Eurobricks Eventees who are official Eurobricks Registered Members, received one such event kit on the 10 May 2014 in Billund, Denmark. I strongly believe there are only 50 to 60 copies ever assembled for this Eurobricks Event 2014. I am truly elated to be able to own this one-of-a-kind Castle MOC ever! Eurobricks Yellow Xtra-Large Castle Minifigures This event kit come with a total of six minifigures with a knight inclusive. There are a female archer, two axemen and two swordsmen defending the castle premises. It is an interesting mix, with a simple and classic neo-facade. Printed AFOL 18+ instructions As highlighted below of the instruction manual, this instructions is provided by Swebrick and Eurobricks Member, Anders67. Thanks guys. The drawbridge can worked! A closer look at the interior section 3 key built sections with high playability I hope you have enjoyed viewing this simple walkthrough!

The LEGO Customer Service is unable to replace specific parts from the missing packets in your LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series as the parts assortment on their end, is not possible to gain access to parts under blind packaging. If you have encountered missing parts, I will urge you to write an email to describe your problem. Let the customer service representative get back to you with a solution or alternative. Also, best to prepare yourself to provide details of the source/origin of the packaging or lot where you obtain. It will help in your case if you have access or remembered such details. I had a few encounters of missing parts such as S1 Spaceman's leg, a few S3 Elves's missing bows and S3 Samurai's katana. These are the few which I can remember off-hand. It's rare and it is pretty remote.

Very cute and simple! Every town ought to have one. Thanks Jared for sharing.
