I am still struggling.. I want some of those minfigures badly... and I do not actually own a console... which really deters me from owning one. I am tempted just to buy some of the Starter or Expansion packs for those minifigures which I do not have. It is a pity that the playing concept can't be supported using PC to integrate the playability. I am not keen to acquire or play console games since PlayStation 1 era. In short, I am quite a dinosaur... and only play with compter games of a much older generation such as Civ 2 and Heroes III. Oh well...

The first thing that came into my mind for 10725 Lost Temple was actually Indiana Jones. This looks very interesting even though I had never owned a LEGO Juniors set. I heard it contain very good printed parts as well and very suited for children to bridge from Duplo to LEGO System sets.

Thank you guys for your interest in this review. I enjoyed reading all of your comments. I have certainly planned to take a group photo in the future, but based on my current set up I am not able to re-arrange all of these again until I am able to find a much permanent solution. Because I always keep them in storage and take them out when needed. Thus, the last time that I have taken a group photo was for LEGO CMFs Series 11. It was a difficult decision and I have indeed max out on the 48x48 baseplate. Unfortunately I do not have any of the Studio Monsters and all of the other Monster Fighter monsters. I am still working to acquire them. It is definitely interesting to see them altogether. Speaking of which, I would definitely need to look for the fifth witch which is only available in LEGO Dimensions. Thanks for the link. Singapore pricing on CMFs remain competitive and have not been subjected to the outrage pricing similar to our US counterparts. Their retail price is at USD$3.99. I am praying and hoping that the CMFs pricing will not increase for the new Series 14. Otherwise, my scoring for pricing will drop. In addition, this is one of the few LEGO items which is (thankfully) are much friendly in price unlike most of the other set releases.

Oh, I didn't mention there is any problem is because there is no problem at all with regards to clutch power for the minifigure head with the headpiece. The grip is firm and strong. I don't see any minifigures dropping off unlike the Princess in Series 12. Thus, I believe the technical issue for this box has been resolved. Thank you guys for your thoughtful comments! It was nice reading them. Well, I do expect people not liking this series and it is no surprise. I was rather neutral when I first saw these images floating in the Internet earlier. But I was so proven wrong after seeing the actual minifigures and I realised there is more to it with plentiful of fun to integrate around. I believe this will be very receptive among our younger audience, namely the children. Dark humour. Nope, I didn't see any. Indeed, when everyone is expecting "oh the usual monsters are back" and now after seeing the actual designs, I am sure many of us are blown by it. I am one of them. This also showed that the designers have put in lots of efforts to make it right and enticing for all of us. No surprise, LT. I don't have this minifigure with me, otherwise I would have done the actual comparison. Why not? I believe we can apply to those other minifigures with yellow heads. I shared your concerns too. Well, the tails are considered rubber though but I still think is hard to differentiate. Forgotten to mention in my earlier comment. The Fly Monster head is not made up of rubber. The antenna is, but the rest of the head is solid ABS plastic.

Hello everyone, Finally, the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 has arrived but is this the usual Collectable Mininfigures Series we are expecting? I am afraid not. This is the first time ever that LEGO Collectable Minifigures is released as a singular theme and in this case, this new Series will be featuring LEGO Monsters. There are official and unofficial pictures of the Series 14 found on the Internet and they do give fans of LEGO a different mix of feelings which I hope I can address in this review. Before I begin this detailed pictorial review, I would like to give my sincere thanks and deepest appreciation to The LEGO Group (TLG) which include the LEGO CEE and LEGO Collectable Minifigures Design Team for continuing to facilitate and provide me this precious rare opportunity to gain access to this incredible new release which allows me to preview before many others could. It also allows me to have moderate spare time to work, evaluate and review this absolutely amazing LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14. As a Reviewer, this opportunity is indeed a great honour and I am exceptionally thankful for all the support that you guys have rendered. Till this date, I have actually completed 17 exhaustive LEGO Pictorial reviews including this current review, solely for the coverage of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series / LEGO Minifigures Theme throughout the past five years. It resembles the eighth 8833 LEGO Collectable Series 8 colour schema. Overall, this colour scheme is suitable for this frightening Halloween Monster Series. [Reference 1] [Reference 2] [Reference 3] [Reference 4] What could possibly lurk within these mysterious sealed packets? The new ghostly characters of the superb LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 The LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 is slated for worldwide release on 1st September 2015. This new Series 14 is the first of its kind where it is based on singular theme to release all 16 minifigures under the same series. All of the designs are done by the LEGO CMFs Design Team. Although the term "LEGO Monsters" is not a new concept to us especially with the not so distant release of the LEGO Monster Fighters, the design team managed to re-design and introduce new Monster characters for us to enjoy. This new Series 14 might be underrated at first glance as one might wonder how many monsters or Halloween costumes would be recycled. Well, the LEGO CMFs Design Team have done an incredible job to assemble existing and new LEGO Monsters for this original special Series 14. This Series 14 is not only able to stand on its own merit, more importantly, it is able to integrate with the past releases of LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series. It is nice to see the return of something different from the traditional series. I am not very sure whats in store for the future of the LEGO Minifigures Theme. Well, I strongly believe the LEGO CMFs Design Team will certainly continue to surprise us with great designs in the future releases. Please note that the naming that I have use for this review are official TLG minifigures naming for the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14. Front view comparison with Series 14 and together with all available LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 1 to 13, LEGO Movie, Simpsons 1 and 2 packets I have placed all 17 different minifigures packets excluding the LEGO Team GB packet. I decided not to include the LEGO Team GB packet as I do not consider it as part of the mainstream even though there are others who may feel differently. From the above display image, you can see an impressive transformation of LEGO CMFs Series 1 to the recent LEGO Simpsons Series 2, and now to the current Series 14. It is so wonderful to be able to see all of them from a top view. The LEGO Minifigures Theme is still a force not to be reckoned with and remains a very strong contender in the TLG product range since 2010. The new LEGO CMFs Series is labelled according to the traditional numbering. Do note that the number 14, is now placed at the bottom left corner of the packet, instead of the usual top right hand corner (for Series 12 it was at the bottom right corner). At the same time, you may notice the removal of the '16 to collect' description from the packaging with just the mere indication "Monsters". Take a closer look at the following images. This is the front view of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 packet, while this shows the back view of it. This is an image that shows the back view comparison for all of these packets. To the regular readers of my LEGO CMFs review, you probably notice that the following paragraph has been mentioned numerous times, because I personally feel this is the most effective method to acquire the highly sought after minifigures without taking any drastic measures. This is the 'same' golden rule, which has been mentioned in my previous reviews. If you are intending to collect the precious and hard-to-find minifigures, please hone your skills for the touch and feel method. It is an important skill to acquire to locate the minifigures that you want without spending too much money to randomly acquire them, especially so when you are intending to buy large quantities. Your sole mission is to memorise and remember the minifigures assortments for each of the specialised designs. Isolate and identify the most unique accessory or accessories for the particular minifigure. From there, eliminate the torso, head and legs and feel for the other parts. The sole disadvantage of this method is that much time would be wasted if the minifigures that you are looking for have been taken from the box. You might also end up with sore numb thumbs after feeling them. However, I personally feel that this approach is the most practical that works the best for me than any other uncommon approaches. Front view of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 promotional poster Back view of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 promotional poster As you flip to the back of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 promotional poster, you can view a string of random code printed at the back. This code will unlock a 'certain' mysterious character on the LEGO MMORPG (massively multi-player online role-playing game) at LEGO Minifigures Online by going online together with the game code to access it. However, if you look at the top right hand corner of the promotional poster. You will notice a number 13 which I suspect will unlock 'Zombie Businessman' which is the exact minifigure that I have gotten from the sealed packet. I have not played this game before and I think this will appeal to a much younger generation. I am fond of the additional instruction pamphlet to guide LEGO fans who are not familiar with fabric parts. In this case, the Wacky Witch have the purple skirt to put on, the Spider Lady have the dual cape to put at the back and the Spectre that is wearing a ghostly cloak. It is a simple illustration to make sure you do it correctly. 1) The dangerous Wolf Guy The introduction of the first Series 14 minifigure is the dangerous Wolf Guy. It can be regarded as either werewolf or lycanthrope and is a popular character in myths and legends. In LEGO context, this is actually the fourth re-release of Werewolf character and the recent one appeared in the Monster Fighters. Although there are some slight similarities TLG has made this Wolf Guy much fiercer and realistic by shortening the overall mould appearance and producing it in grey colour. It is certainly a ferocious looking creature that is waiting to pounce on his target. Parts assortment The parts assortment for the Wolf Guy is slightly above average. The Wolf Guy holds a white bone which may be his weapon to clobber others or just leftovers from his meal. The focus for this minifigure is the new wolf mould and the new furry tail like Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy at the back. This is a pleasant surprise to me. Previous designs of the Wolf Guy did not feature a tail and this is a good improvement. As you can see from the design, the torn clothes suggests that he is clearly a civilian before and he does resemble the Series 5 Woodcutter. The Wolf Guy comes with excellent printing which can be seen from his back view and side view which is very impressive especially when you compare it with the version before transformation. Beginning of transformation Meet my evil twin Who is much stronger and fiercer? You are welcome to be part of our family 2) The experienced Zombie Pirate The experienced Zombie Pirate is the first ever to become a zombie. He probably survived more than half a century ago feeding on flesh or brains. Well there are zombie pirates appearing on LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean but they are not exactly zombie looking. Thus, this version is definitely more accurate. The name for this minifigure could have been to Zombie Captain instead of Zombie Pirate since he is wearing a pirate hat. I suspect a generic pirate zombie crew will be even more popular than just associating it with captain looking. You can see a closer look of the menacing Zombie Pirate. Parts assortment The parts assortment is below average. I am quite disappointed that the sword is just a generic scimitar. I would prefer a different weapon but perhaps not a cutlass as well. The choice of leg is a wooden peg and it is traditionally associated with the Pirate Captain which could limit the conversion to a typical pirate buccaneer. Although the pirate hat has a different print on the skull design, but it still looks like a captain and you do not really need too many of these. Nevertheless, it is a good chance for us to finally have zombie pirates and anything related to zombie is always a good pick. In this case, I feel that there is no need for many Zombie Pirates in Captain fashion. You can see a slight print at the leg design from the side view but there is no back print as observed from the back view. Death and Beyond Give me back my loot Get out of here Pleased to have you with us 3) The mad Monster Scientist Meet the other evil counterpart of Series 4 Crazy Scientist and this fellow is a much crazier and madder looking Monster Scientist in the house. His appearance is brainy nerdy villainous looking and judging from his chemical experiment attempts, he does seems to be developing a potion relating to fly. I wonder what and who could it be possibly for. Hmm... Parts assortment The parts assortment for the Monster Scientist is average. The accessory he is holding is a chemical flask with a different pink liquid for the first time with a fly printed onto it. The surprising thing about this minifigure is the removal of the unique hairpiece and it kind of reminds me of a scientist like Albert Einstein. Other than that, there is nothing special from the side view and back view. Although the new hairpiece is quite cute to some extent due to the crazy looking eyeballs, I suspect it may not appeal to the masses to acquire duplicates of these characters. Who looks more wacky? Test Subject Different science experiments Wacky Tribe I invented the fly monster potion 4) The crazy Wacky Witch Meet the new crazy Wacky Witch who is in a different outfit than the Series 2 Witch. The new witch in different green shade is equally terrifying with her flying broomstick. This version reminds me of the Wicked Witch of the West but she is wearing a purple outfit instead. There are also other LEGO witches in the realm such as the Evil Witch and Fright Knight Witch for example, both of them do not seem as dark or evil as this Wacky Witch. Parts assortment The parts assortment is above average. The accessories are good which include the necessary flying broomstick and a cat in ominous black. The headpiece is a brand new head mould which reveals the hair from the back view with torn tattered patches print. The side view with purple skirt surrounding her waist reveal torn tattered patches at the shoulder. You can see some printing of the skirt opening. All in all, she is quite an impressive minifigure despite the re-hash. Witch Alliance This black cat looks strange Who could like to join me on my broomstick? 5) The mighty Plant Monster The mighty Plant Monster is supposed to be a strong looking monster but I wonder why there is a screaming guy coming from its mouth. So to some extent I thought he was wearing a Plant Monster costume until I read the official bio. It used to be the Monster Scientist’s houseplant until he accidentally gave it too much of his experimental super-growth fertilizer, causing the horticultural horror to sprout arms, legs, spiky vines, and one huge appetite. This probably explained that the Plant Monster has swallowed an innocent minifigure for dinner but I think this plant is not actually a carnivore which I am hoping it is not. Parts assortment The parts assortment is above average and the superb thing is the entire outfit. The plant headpiece is a brand new mould which allow us to see the face of the wearer. Be it a costume or an actual Plant Monster, it is an original design idea. He makes a nice comical character or a vicious Plant Monster. It is a fine piece of design with the tangling vines at his arms. You can view the beautiful printing details from the back view and side view. I suspect many people will be fond of this character since it is pretty unique and surely adored by many. What did you do to me? I am just a plant Costume Party Suits I am just a relic staying in the attic 6) The stunning Fly Monster This is a surprising minifigure design and a very nice one indeed. To be able to create a Fly Monster in such a highly detailed manner is no easy feat. You can use it in a science fiction setting or in a bunch of monster setting like in this case. At first glance, you might mistaken it as part of the Galaxy Squad but this Fly Monster is a class of its own. This might just be a laboratory failure of creating an actual miniature fly to a real minifigure size to terrorise people. Well, this is no costume character as you see it up close and personal and I must admit the detailing of the eyes is just amazing. Parts assortment The parts assortment is very good for this Fly Monster. Even though there are no accessories, the overall design is just incredible. This is the third time we are seeing the winglet being used. The sheer detail of the Fly Monster is excellent which can be seen from the back view and side view which includes a dark red pincer to snap the threat. In a heartbeat, I probably would amass a few more to build up a Fly Monster Army. I wonder who else is thinking the same way as me. You are our best fighter Space Quest We have captured Fighter Fly Avengers, let's get him Fly in the Kitchen 7) The mischievous Spectre This is certainly one of my favourite characters in this series. The mischievous Spectre is a ghostly floating character which carries chains to spook people out and by going through walls to give them a good scare. His spooky appearance is pretty cute despite the supposed ghastly looks. I would think LEGO Harry Potter fans might take this opportunity to make a Dementor instead. Either way, this is a superb minifigure to have and with some slight modification, you may even get a grim reaper. This is definitely not your typical ghost. Parts assortment The parts assortment is above average. The best part of the design is the inclusion of the new leg design from the LEGO Ninjago Ghost Army which is a brilliant piece of work. The design team used the same mould to create a new two tone colour with transparent white and grey. The new ghostly fabric is done nicely and enhances the design further. The hood and the chains complement it further which you can see it from the back view and side view. Please note that the minifigure's head can glow-in-the-dark. The glow-in-the-dark feature only show at the front of the face and not the whole of the minifigure head. My wife and I realised it was glowing so well at night before we sleep since the display is now on my working table. These are the rest of the four spectres. This is just brilliant and I loved this character even more. Want to join us? Ghost Party Don't catch me What prank should I do now? 8) The passionate Zombie Cheerleader It appears that the Zombies have taken up a Cheerleader among their ranks and it requires lots of practice in order to be nimble like the rest of the Cheerleaders counterparts. I think it is a nice idea to include a female zombie and with the 'Z' squad in place, this Zombie Cheerleader will do her best to lead them on. It is always good to see more new zombie designs even though she is just a Cheerleader. I think this minifigure might be popular as well. Parts assortment The parts assortment is what you expect for a Cheerleader which include the two poms poms. The nicest part though, is her new hairpiece. I believe this is the first time that I have seen this design but I might be wrong. It is certainly nice to have this new ponytail hairstyle which can easily used for other LEGO female minifigures. The zombie tone details can be seen in her back view and side view. Cheer Squads Come on, let's cheer Hello Great great uncle You look awfully sick This is just like Thriller 9) The wild Tiger Woman City fans are in for a treat. We are pleased to have the Wild Tiger Woman in town. She is part of the ongoing act of the Circus Troupe and is now touring with the rest of the acts. I have heard that she is not only able to tame tigers but some other exotic species as well. Initially, I thought she could be just another costume character. I wonder if she would be the next popular costume character like the Series 10 Bumblebee Girl and Series 13 Unicorn Girl. To some extent, it does remind me of the Josie and the Pussycats. Parts assortment The parts assortment for the Tiger Woman is above average. She is given the tiger outfit with a black whip. Her costume suit includes a tail and is given printed tiger strips at the back. The printed tiger stripes also continues at the side of the arms as well. She can actually tame a raptor Welcome Tiger Woman The Circus Troupe 10) The still Gargoyle This is a very nice addition for LEGO Castle fans. We are finally going to get a gargoyle to reprise the role of a summoned monster from the Netherworld. In the building architecture context, the gargoyle is a grotesque statue with a spout designed to redirect water from the roof to the side of a building, thereby preventing rainwater from running down masonry walls and eroding the mortar between. However, this is not the case here and I feel it is somewhat closer to the mythical creature for use in medieval castle roleplay. Parts assortment The parts assortment is above average and the best thing about this minifigure is the overall design and appeal. I would prefer it to be dark grey instead of light grey colour though. The Gargoyle is not holding any weapon and I was a little disappointed, but the new wings made up for it which can be seen from the back view. I must admit it is pretty accurate for this small built. There are also some prints from the side view. Now who is aiming for an army of gargoyles? Alternatively, you can just place him as a building ornament. Hanging out together Mythical Creatures Enlist your service to Fright Knights Stop that flying terror Return my wings to me 11) The talking Skeleton Guy This is the perfect Trick and Treat costume for children to put on during Halloween. It is actually a Halloween costume and he certainly put on a good camouflage which led me to think that he is a real skeleton. This skeleton in disguise is the perfect cover to infiltrate other LEGO Monsters' residence. I wonder what you think of this interesting design? Parts assortment The parts assortment is pretty good. You are able to get a new print for the Trick and Treat pumpkin basket to stash candies in there. The detailed printing which revealed the strings for the mask is top notch. Knock Knock No more Trick and Treat 12) The smashing Monster Rocker It is no surprise that they re-hash a Frankenstein for this LEGO Monster Series and they brought him on as a Monster Rocker specialising in rock and roll. Well, for this Monster Rock, it is going to be shock n roll. To be honest, this is a minifigure that I didnt quite look forward to even though it could be featured as part of a musical band or concert. It could be quite entertaining but it might not be as appealing as compared to the rest of the counterparts. This is probably one of the least popular design in this series as you would probably not want to own more than one or two. Parts assortment The parts assortment is slightly below average. There is a new red guitar design and when you reverse to the back. There is a notch behind which imply it to be suitable for LEGO Friends minidolls since their hands can't turn like regular minifigures. I am not quite familiar with LEGO Friends and I really hope this is a new guitar print. There is printing from his side view on his arm which increases the design details. Different types of Frankenstein Monsters Shock and Roll Monster Performance 13) The hungry Zombie Businessman Three cheers for more zombies! I am so elated to see this zombie design as it is generic looking enough to create a zombie apocalypse scene with this design. With this minifigure, you can create an army of zombies in their suits marching out of the office building. This is one of the most exciting minifigures for many to search high and low for. I am very confident that an army will most likely come out of this character unlike the other two zombie designs in this series. Parts assortment The parts assortment are excellent. There is a black briefcase and a printed 2x2 tile which featured Zombie Times. Nothing too suggestive as it just implied that the zombies who are reading this are looking for brains for their survival. Do note that the print for this side view is only at one side of it. I wished there is printing at the back of the minifigure. Zombie Family We are hungry and let's find food Zombies Attack Let's welcome these new zombies 14) The screaming Banshee The bearer of bad news as tasked by the screaming Banshee. I would think she is more of a wandering ghost in a haunted house. She is pretty much suited for this. Another way of looking at it, she could be a simple ghost and she might not want to scare people out of their wits. The idea of having a Banshee minifigure is excellent. However, the Banshee is something very dark and sinister. She is a female spirit in Irish mythology, usually seen as an omen of death and a messenger from another world. In the LEGO context, she is just putting up a sad face and I suspect she does not want to pass the bad news onto others. Parts assortment The parts assortment is excellent despite zero accessories. The overall design is very appealing and I like the fact that we are getting two different ghostly characters in this series and we are getting a female character for this design. I am very fond of this. Once more, the design team used the same mould to create a new two tone colour with transparent white and swampy green. The hairpiece is actually translucent and it enhances the ghostly spooky effect. There are so much fine details from the back view and side view. Upon removal of the hairpiece, you can see the full back printing. We are ghost friends This is the Ghost Army Stop chasing me Let me tell you a sad story I feel so lonely 15) The sneaky Square Foot Meet the elusive, shy and very sneaky Square Foot. I believe the original idea was to get Big Foot. Because when you turn the minifigure the other way round, you will notice the leg is actually square and this is a good inference of LEGO context. Well done LEGO team, that gave me a good laugh. He is also a distant relative of the Series 11 Yeti. It is a pretty fun idea to come up with this design. Parts assortment The parts assortment for the Square Foot is average. The camera is a common accessory and other than that, the head mould is also a re-hash and painted with a different colour. I would think Square Foot is the new addition of the regular big brown creature and not like the commonly known Star Wars Chewbacca. I am quite sure the torso and legs are closely related to this design. At least the hands are of different colours. I suspect this minifigure may not be popular based on the previous Series 11 Yeti experience, I still managed to see lots of it in the wild. You can get a closer look at the details from the back view and side view. Warm and Cold Let me take a picture of you Where is that Square Foot? 16) The amazing Spider Lady This is the last minifigure in Series 14 and it is the gorgeous amazing Spider Lady. Nope, it is not related to Spiderman. I don't quite understand why she is known as Spider Lady instead of Lady Vampire or Vampire Mistress. Because clearly from her face, I can see two fangs sticking out of her mouth. Then I realised that she could be fond of spiders while other vampires are fond of bats or rats. She is certainly a fitting partner for the Series 2 Vampire. Parts assortment The parts assortment is great, especially with the new impressive dual spider robes. This is the first time that a ruggedised plastic robe is being placed in the series. You can see the full stretch of spider web details from her back view and side view. The red spider is a nice add on. I am pretty fond of the overall design especially her classic hairdo for a classy female vampire. I am sure she does not belong to this current generation. Vampire Families What am I doing here? The new lady mistress of Haunted House May I be your service? The first original LEGO Collectable Minifigures Monster Series Five years have passed, this is the first original LEGO Collectable Minifigures Monster Series which I have attempted to associate in all of my pictorial reviews. There are 10 minifigures which are identified for LEGO Halloween theme and I really did not expect to see a full series being dedicated to 14. With the new 16 minifigures in Series 14 and 10 minifigures of the earlier series, you will get an incredible of 26 minifigures related to LEGO Monster Theme under the LEGO Minifigures Theme. I suspect people who have missed these minifigures will definitely attempt to source for it to complete the extended version. What do you think? Did I leave out any earlier characters by chance? It means I will have 12 spares left. Read below to find out what are the remaining spares I have. By buying one full complete MISB box, it will allow you to achieve three complete sets. Ever since the significant shift of the distribution ratio in LEGO Minifigures - The Simpsons, TLG has return to the LEGO consumers the traditional three complete sets. The ongoing LEGO CMFs Series 14 has continued with this desirable ratio of having three full sets in a sealed box of 60. I am extremely pleased with this outcome. I feel the appeals of these minifigures have achieved a brand new level despite the restrictions and limitations which the LEGO CMFs Design Team has to work with. The LEGO CMFs Design Team's best judgement is based on the support of market research data and probably parts per piece count manufacturing process in order to determine the distribution ratio. As you have noticed from the given distribution ratio, the less appealing minifigures such as the Zombie Pirate, Mad Scientist and Monster Rocker do not need to have a larger number of identical minifigures in a box but it was unfortunately given the distribution ratio of five. Thankfully, some of the other characters which might be potential army building such as Spectre, Fly Monster, Plant Monsters and Gargoyle were given the distribution ratio of four. I wish the rest of the other minifigures under the distribution ratio of four could exchange with the ones with the distribution ratio of three. I was hoping other popular minifigures like both Zombies Cheerleader and Businessman were given the higher distribution ratio count and I strongly suspect both of these characters would be very popular. Likewise, for Tiger Woman which might be popular among the masses as well. I do not quite understand the logic for the characters distribution for this round but i guess it could be due to the production of specialised parts in limited quantities since this is one of the series which have quite a lot of new head moulds. Ultimately, I am quite satisfied with this distribution arrangement with the disappointment of not including a more popular character under the distribution ratio of five. Well, I did not expect to see that many popular minifigures in this series to be the case of potential army building. What do you guys think about this round of distribution? Do you share the same sentiments as I do? To be honest, I was quite skeptical at first due to the fact that it is a singular based theme which attempts to deviate from the different minifigures design assortment which the designers came out with. However, they have definitely impressed us further by amassing an excellent range of LEGO Monsters for the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series which is no easy task to attract new and regular LEGO fans., without any doubt, has put together an terrific and remarkable effort to introduce even more new highly desired and relevant minifigures designs into this ongoing LEGO Minifigures Series. It is no easy challenge to be able to create, design and introduce many new creative and original designs to attract to the masses. The LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series or known as LEGO Minifigures Theme is an unique commanding class of their own, which distinguish themselves from regular LEGO Theme or special releases. Instead, everything that you have seen in a single released series is all based on the 16 minifigures to reach out to fans, children, adults and collectors of LEGO. It has been a very long tradition and yet they are able to retain the charm and excitement, until today. Now with a total of 272 minifigures released for the entire Series 1 to 13, the recent LEGO Movie Series, LEGO Simpsons Series 1 to 2 and the current LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14, not including Mr. Gold which unfortunately I do not have the blessings or lucky stars to own it till this date, and the special exclusive Toy Soldier minifigure that can only be obtained through The Minifigures Character Encyclopedia. At this rate that it continue to release, I wonder how many of us need to upgrade the display shelving area to accommodate for future expansion. With this upcoming LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14, what more exciting new series will TLG have for us. Only time will tell and let's be patient about it. To clarify, this is a positive review and the scoring for the 6, 6 and 5 are average scoring. Those are not considered low scoring. Anything less than 5 is define low. I had scored sets that are below 5 before and there a few which fit in that category. Giving it an average scoring is where there is a balance of views in this review. Like the poll and average scoring in my review, I used this rough representation below. 9 to 10 - Outstanding 8 to 7 - Above Average 5 to 6 - Average 3 to 4 - Below Average 1 to 2 - Poor To be fair to this set, there is two ways to look at it and you do so from a Minecraft fan perspective or an AFOL perspective. Either perspective will allow you to gain access to a fair insight. Thus, with the different variations and considerations that I took, I strongly felt an average scoring could sum up my liking towards this set. I wasn't so pleased with the high SRP pricing due to price per parts ratio and for a mere 327 parts with an US price tag of USD$35 excluding tax. I felt it is very pricy for a regular AFOL to get it at a whim, unless you are a dedicated Minecraft fan. I hope the above clarifies. Thank you.
