Extra Minifigure in NinjaGO Set
WhiteFang replied to timura's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I am not aware of this but I got mine not too long ago. I am planning to open it soon. I am wondering if this good bonus will happen to me. -
Hello everyone, I am back to share with you on another new LEGO Ninjago 2015 review. Previously after sharing my three completed LEGO Ninjago reviews on the 70752 Jungle Trap, 70753 Lava Falls and 70754 ElectroMech earlier, I am going to wrap up the whole Tournament of Elements stuff with this final feature. Of course, this will not be my last LEGO Ninjago review on Eurobricks. Just that I am probably taking a hiatus and focusing on some other reviewing projects which I would like to share with all of you. Without further ado, let me share the fun of this simple vehicular set. Name: 70755 Jungle Raider Theme: LEGO System / Ninjago Year: 2015 Pieces: 188 Minifigs: 2 minifigures Price: USD $19.99, GBP 17.99, EURO 17.99, SGD $34.90 Resources: Brickset, BrickLink An original box image of the 70755 Jungle Raider Back view of the original box image of the 70755 Jungle Raider Welcome to the last match of Tournament of Elements This is the fourth LEGO Ninjago set for the release in Spring 2015. This set features the fourth dual of Tournament of Elements. As you have probably noticed in the earlier back view image of the original box set, you may have notice that a special weapon type is included. It is referred to as the Jade Blade and it is being featured as weapon number 4. This is a vehicular design and it is one of my favourite set in this wave. It is as if love at first sight just by glancing at the box art on the store shelves. It is because I did not actually plan to buy this so soon and I also got this set for my friend as a birthday gift too. In general, this set is very appealing and even though LEGO is good at releasing action related vehicles but this gave me a rather very special vibe. I enjoyed the design of Lloyd's latest vehicular addition which is suited for his deployment especially since the whole colour schema is closely inked onto Lloyd's primary colour schema. The content of the sealed box The sealed box comes with three mint packs, sticker sheet which I choose not to apply onto this set, two medium rubber sized tyres and an instruction manual. After the built is completed, these are the remaining spare parts which include an extra blue mini mask and a spare green missile in case you played with it and shot it randomly which might end up going missing. It almost happened to me. Next, I will start by placing and mixing all of the LEGO elements together. It should not take you more than 30 minutes to finish building this set. The main characters - Lloyd and Kapau Let me briefly introduce Lloyd and Kapau who are the two main minifigures characters in this set. You are probably no stranger to Lloyd and pleased to see him getting used to being the Green Ninja who is destined to save the world. It is nice to see his robe stay true to his primary colour scheme and I am very fond to see him grow up to be a fine ninja at this point. The new evil henchman villain, is Kapau. He is an Anacrondrai soldier, very similar to his other fellow comrades. He looks much distinct than the other three henchmen, largely attributed to his left arm which seem to be covered in dark red with some sort of leather armour. I would certainly consider using his attire as a form of leading the rest since his attire does look much different than the rest. You can take a closer look at their outfits without their weapons attached and if you are interested to see what is beneath Lloyd's appearance, you can look at here. There are also back-printing behind their bodies as well which add good fine details onto the character designs. Unchain the Jade Blade from the stone pillar This stone pillar is a very simple built but it has quite a good colour combination especially the usage of the tan scimitars on both ends. The pillar is not too high but just nice enough for the minifigure to approach and reach it with some agile ninja skills. The completed built of the Jungle Raider This is the completed built of the Jungle Raider. The built is enjoyable as you build from the base to form the suspension, right from the vehicular frame and to the finishing touch. The entire process was engaging and for such a medium set, it definitely offers plentiful of playability. You may open up the vehicle cockpit to place Lloyd in there and his katana can also be placed at the rear of the vehicle safely. The front of the vehicle enable the dual missile to launch at an instant and that was an awesome fun factor. You got to be careful when you are handling with this because a slightest touch at the activation mechanism could just blow off the missiles away without you ready for it. You can flip to the bottom view to see the suspension technique being used which could emulate the buggy kind of experience. Lloyd standing beside his Jungle Raider The duel has just begun Up close and personal The heroic Ninjas of Ninjago City Not sure if anyone would enjoy them, but I thought it will be nice to share these bonus feature by collating them together. The evil henchmen The four Tournament of Elements set being shown altogether To conclude, this is a fun playing vehicular set. It is firm and stable and also able to handle rough playing without seeing bricks falling apart. The shooting mechanism add plenty of fun and the suspension is a nice little touch to roam around on uneven terrain. All in all, I would definitely recommend you to get this action filled vehicle. Summary review Playability: 8/10 (The Jungle Raider is very fun to play with lots of playability features.) Design: 8/10 (The design of the buggy is solid and stable which is an important factor for rough playing for children.) Price: 8/10 (Price is reasonable with the decent amount of bricks and parts.) Overall: 8/10 (Nice vehicular set and you should not miss it especially if you are a Ninjago fan.) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? I hope every one of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Criticisms are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Flickr.

Thank you for sharing. Useful plot information too. Thanks. -

LEGO Minifigures - The LEGO Simpsons Series 2 Poll
WhiteFang replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thank you Oky and Robert8 for pointing it out. I was too sleepy last night and made that silly mistake. Oky, upon designing this poll is strictly for compiling of Eurobricks data and information to compare the trends and liking within EB community. This is not a request by TLG, but more of my own looking and research into the liking of the CMFs throughout the years and the shift. If TLG is interested in these data, we will be glad to provide them through our LEGO Ambassador (CopMike) for this research. Who knows, they might be lurking to view these polls? I don't refer theme based series as Series 14, such as Halloween. I don't really think it will be branded as Series 14 but I could be wrong in this assumption. -

Hello everyone, After sharing my recent two completed reviews on the 70752 Jungle Trap and 70753 Lava Falls earlier, I am going to continue this third review of my Ninjago 2015 which coincidentally part of the Tournament of Elements feature. I really hope I could be able to continue working on the rest of the other sets which I have bought recently and without a doubt, I am certainly enjoying this theme very much. Name: 70754 ElectroMech Theme: LEGO System / Ninjago Year: 2015 Pieces: 153 Minifigs: 2 minifigures Price: USD N.A, GBP 12.99, EURO 14.99, SGD $24.90 Resources: Brickset, BrickLink An original box image of the 70754 ElectroMech Back view of the original box image of the 70754 ElectroMech Welcome to another match of Tournament of Elements This is the third Ninjago set which is part of the release in Spring 2015. This set features the third dual of Tournament of Elements. As you observe in the earlier back view image of the original box set, you may have notice that a special weapon type is included. It is known as the Jade Blade and it is being featured as weapon number 3. Unlike the other earlier two tournament sets which is based on location settings, this set is focus on Jay's ElectroMech with that as the main design and playability. This set is very focused on the construction of the ElectroMech and this is not the first LEGO mechanical robot design being by TLG. In fact, the LEGO designers have done many mech robots designs throughout the years and they are very good to bring out the playability and posable appeal to the LEGO fans. The content of the sealed box The sealed box comes with three mint packs, sticker sheet which I choose not to apply onto this set and an instruction manual to guide the builder on to build up the set. After the built is completed, these are the remaining spare parts which include an extra blue mini mask that I consider as an useful minifigure accessory. I have begun by placing and mixing all of the LEGO elements together. I have noticed several useful weapons and parts for the minifigures aspect like those golden katanas, crossbows and the newly printed round plate shield for the Anacrondrai. There is also a new printed piece which depict the control panel and it seem to only be made available in the new LEGO Ninjago theme at this point in time. So far, you can find this part in these four Ninjago new sets. The main characters - Jay and Chope Let me introduce Jay and Chope who are the two main minifigures characters in this set. The good side featured the suave lightning-looking blue ninja. The colour scheme of his tournament outfit remains true to his fundamental colour. From what I have observed so far, the design of this Jay is also avaialble in the 30292 Jay's Nano Mech polybag which is a smaller version of the ElectroMech. The new evil henchman villain, is Chope. He is an Anacrondrai soldier, very similar to his other fellow comrades. There is only very slight variation from one another and you need to pay more attention in order to separate them from one another. He is one of Master Chen's henchmen who has been transformed into a human-Anacrondrai hybrid. So far, I only noticed this minifigure is only made available in this set but I could be wrong on this. Well, there is really nothing of a big difference between these Anacrondrai soldiers, other than attempting to infuse characters personalities into them. You can take a closer look at their outfits without their weapons attached and if you are interested to see what is beneath Jay's appearance, you can look at here. There are also back-printing behind their bodies as well which add good fine details onto the character designs. Chope standing beside the dangerous crossbow ballista Well, there is not really anything dangerous about this simple built of the crossbow ballista. It is just putting a few parts together to pass it off as a quick launch point for these crossbows. Not exactly the real ballista that I have in mind and I honestly don't think it can stand up to the ElectoMech. The completed built of the ElectroMech This is the completed built of the ElectroMech. It is coated with the blue sleek colour and at one glance, you are able to associate it with Jay instead of any other ninjas. For a small mech measuring over 15cm high, 14cm long and 9cm wide, it is quite a decent size for such built of less than 150 bricks count. It is very posable with the ball joints located at the shoulders and knees. The left arm contain a dual stud shooter which is the new blaster guns designs that allow the 1x1 round yellow piece to be able to shoot at their targets. While the right arm is a very firm robotic hand grip. It can simply grab hold of his enemies with ease. All of this can be controlled from the mech control panel. This mech feature a playing mechanism which allows activation of the fold-out golden blade wings which is very fun to play with by pushing up and down through a simple technic mechanism by transforming the wings in rest mode right into stand-by flight mode. You can take a moment to view the different details from the side view and back view. Opening up the cockpit Jay is preparing to fight in this posable ElectroMech Preparing for upcoming combat Different pose view of the ElectroMech Could you win against the ElectroMech? There! I finally got you. To conclude, this is a fun mech set to play with. The mech built is very nice and sturdy. It have several playable functions which enhance the playing experience. It include two decent nice minifigures but the main attraction for me was the ElectroMech which entice me to acquire it. I could definitely recommend fans who are into mech to highly consider this purchase even though it is not as big and detailed as some other mech designs out there. Summary review Playability: 8/10 (The ElectroMech contain nice playability like the activiation of the wings and the left arm shooters.) Design: 8/10 (ElectroMech design wise is pretty solid and decent with such limited amount of bricks, while the enemy defense is simply unable to match up.) Price: 8/10 (Price is reasonable which include decent amount of bricks and parts.) Overall: 8/10 (Very nice mech to play with and it can probably be a good entry budget Ninjago set to begin with, if you are unsure of this theme.) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? I hope every one of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Criticisms are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Flickr.

Friends minidolls into minifigs?
WhiteFang replied to Civic Bossman's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hi Dorayaki, Many thanks for everything. I will like to share that Dorayaki as a budding customiser, he is doing his best to apply basic customisation techniques on this printing Friends mini-dolls designs into customised LEGO Friends customised minifigures scale. Earlier ago, I have kindly extend a wish that I could like to have these designs. My intention was to have such unique customised minifigures to present as a gift to a very close friend of mine, whom is very fond of LEGO Friends. I felt this could be the perfect special gift. Dorayaki has kindly agreed to this commissioned project and after a few months, the long wait is over! I have finally received these LEGO Friends customised minifigures design in minifigure scale. I am delighted even though he could be working hard on applying paint job. Nonetheless, I am pleased with it. Despite being a request for this commissioned project which I have asked, I sincerely thank you for your efforts to make this a reality for me. WhiteFang -
