Lets thank ImperialShadows for his wonderful contributions
WhiteFang replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Shadows, with that potrait of yours, I find you looking rather antique. Seriously, outstanding contribution to have a place in the Pirates realms and EB. You are practically featuring in Hall of Fame. I really like that picture very much/ -
Thanks Erdbeereis1 for your kind words. Glad you liked this set. Just wondering whom has rated poor and below average. I will like to know why you voted this way. Perhaps, you could share with me and the rest on your thoughts and views.

First detailed pics of the Taj Mahal
WhiteFang replied to Holodoc's topic in General LEGO Discussion
These pictures are amazing! I will love to try to build this set. It's really very impressive by looking at its different sections. The dome itself, is the most incredible. It seemed with these pictures, this user is ready to write an awesome review! Thanks for sharing! -
The Baritones Discussion Thread
WhiteFang replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Guess, it's too late for signing up. Hinckley, if there is a space somehow or somewhere, I will like to join in the fun as well. -
Stefan! Great innovative design. I must agreed that the SNOT approach is done in a very nice manner. I noticed that the cockpit could be lifted up. The navigation controls looks unique too.

Hello all Eurobricks members and Town Lovers, Today, I will be doing up a review on Glade Runner set. This is a very small set which is slightly bigger than the current impulse set. It's part of the Race theme which involved in land and sea racers back in the early 1990s. I just love these orignal race themes which is produced back then. Name: Glade Runner Theme: LEGO System / Town / Race Year: 1993 Pieces: 29 Minifigs: 1 Price: USD$3.25 An image of a 6513, Glade Runner Swamp race shall begins This glade runner is pretty nice looking with its sleek sports look. Well, for a glade runner in the water, it certainly looks much impressive. Somehow, I felt that the 6513 is aligned with the 6514 Trail Ranger. I always had that perception that both vehicles are brothers and was released under the same year. In fact, Glade Runner was released in 1993 based on Peeron information. I always felt that this set is used for Investigators or Police to used for tracking or search purposes in the swamp areas instead of using it for a race. I will place this set in the jungle, somewhere like Brickster's jungle settings. Although it looks too bright for such serious agenda, but I think it's pretty useful to use it this way. They can rent it from the nearby shop and used it to search. It kind of reminded me of the movie, US Marshals which acted by Tommy Lee Jones and Wesley Snipes. Meet the ace Please pardon his trousers. I did not bleach it earlier. (It was caused overtime without adequate caring to the minfig. Look at this great article on how to protect your LEGO!) The driver wears a green vest with patch pockets on both sides. This is my favourite design during that period. It comes with a yellow lifevest too. As for the 1x4 printed tile with 3 stars shining in front of the runner, it's a very nice printed tile that can be used for other racing purposes in other sets as well. Overall design The built is very simple and yet so realistic. Making use of the aeroplane tailhead to add as the holder for the rotor is smart. The white bricks acting as a platform for both sides to hold the driver to sit onto the centre with the steering wheel at the front. I am very happy with this design. Place the glade runner in front of the fan with a reasonable fan speed. You will see the rotor runs like a charm. Different angles of the vehicle Close encounter with the "Swamp Sharks" coined by Brickster! See you later To conclude, this is a very nice little set that can provide much fun. I don't really used it to race in the waters. Instead, I leave it to my imagination and used it for police investigation purposes such as air crash excerise, search and rescue operations and etc. I think it can provides quite a fun loving experience. Although, the set might not be very appealing to some people, but I find it very fun to play around and is one of my favourite sets in the 1990s where I placed it with my 6514 Trail Ranger together. Summary review Playability: 8.5/10 (I leave it to your imagnination.) Design: 9/10 (Very simple yet realistic design.) Price: 10/10 (A very inexpensive set. Great way to buy such small sets at a low price.) Overall: 8.5/10 (Glade Runner is not common in Town and City theme. It's not a must to have it, but if you ever come across it. Do get it) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? Hope everyone of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Critics are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Brickshelf (When moderated)

Do share with us with a review plus a few pictures or two, once it's arrived. It's alright. Now, I am waiting for the retail stores to load in this item. For past years, advent are hard to get on my side. However, I am sure this year will be a surprise for my country.

I voted for the new look. Since the new index for the castle is awesome, I am sure it will be as great for Star Wars as well.

Lord Thrawn, Happy Birthday. Have fun!

I am looking forward to our Santa KimT to do an early Christmas review. Earlier on, I think there was a debate on the amount of figs in previous pages with the discussion on amazon website and the german catalog which feature the 4 dwarves which is exact replica of dwarves mine. I am not sure on how that discussion goes. So, I just wanted to point that out. I can't order stuff from LEGO website. My country is not listed.

The Castle Advent Calender, is 100% for sure, includes 9 minifigs only. Every minifig of what you see in the picture is what you will get. The 4 dwarves minifigs are not included. I believe it's for promotional illustration only. Not sure if anyone else had actually confirmed it. I am very sure of it.

Outstanding! I love the new index! I have just discovered an advantage! One glance from its overview, I will be able to detect which set needs a review. In fact, many of the sets down there needs a review and I own some of them as well. Perhaps, I will need to restore some of the old sets such as KK, King Leo and etc. Thanks KimT, for doing up this index! It's no easy feat to accomplish such work.

I find this is an interesting topic though. It's nice to learn from each other. Will look forward to the uploaded images.

Have a great birthday, my fellow teacher.

Is the King's Castle Siege, your only favourite castle set? I did not know you are also into Castle theme as well. Maybe, you should drop by the History and Adventure Forum often. Me too, I am an Indiana Jones's fan. By the way, keep up the good work in your comic reading. As usual, they are entertaining.

Tenorikuma, you are right by spotting my thoughts earlier on 地勢部隊. Maybe, I has a different view of understanding it. I thought it will be much suited as "Land Force Unit", by translating by using chinese approach. Both languages has similar roots, just different way of understanding it. I really appericate that you broke down the words, and explained your approach. It makes me aware of such differences as well, since certain words may have more than one representative.
-
Somehow, I just noticed this topic. Tenorikuma, the translation for 部隊 is correct. However, the first character actually represent "land" or "floor". While the second character, I have no idea yet. I will take alook at my dictionary later in the night to see if I can find this word. As far as I know, I don't think it is referring to Exo Force Unit. I think it is related to something like "land kind of unit". I may not be right on this. Edit: I am guessing on its second character, and it may actually refer to the meaning of power. I will confirm on this Perhaps anyone else whom know this, can correct for me as well. Just giving my one cent worth.

I had never seen these sets before in my retail stores before. However, I do remember the existence of its video games. Look like an interesting set for great outdoor enterainment and fun for LEGO citizens whom is out for real thrill and excitement. This theme never really got me excited back then. After reading your review, it's quite useful for some new addition to your town features, such as including a skater boy, holding the pizza instead of using the pizza van. The high fuel cost must have caught up to them, to resort using skate board for delivery. As for the street surfer vehicle, it's a cool looking vehicle with unique construction. Pardon me, I have not seen such design before. I will actually tear off the wheels, cover up the sides and used it for wind surfing! That's the whole idea. After giving some thoughts and weighs its factors, I will have to give it a "3" for this set. I will probably get it if its on sales. Once again, Brickster this is a lovely review which has showed us a new perspective of Island Xtreme Stunts.

Another cat lover in Eurobricks! As what I had commented earlier in the thread, that was a very amazing creation which even make its way to here. Welcome to Eurobricks!

JopieK, I enjoyed this review very much! Your first picture, certainly capture the essence of this lovely set. In reality, I am in the Aviation line, especially aviation safety. Therefore, you re-entact the scene very well. To be honest, I have never seen this set before. This AES (Airport Emergency Service) Fire Truck is certainly unbelievable. I love it very much. It's a pity I never owned this. This is a set which give me a "5". Great job JopieK. I enjoyed viewing your classic town reviews very much. Keep up the good work!

NIce piece of work. It's a very nice eating contest! I thought you will be telling us something related to the Pirate and Ninja theme which will be included for future LEGO themes. Guess, I thought wrongly.
-
I know the answer too.. Must we pm you the answer? It's sad to know that some of us got it right. Yes, Brickster is right. Only psycho criminals are able to get it correct. I was shocked when the true answer was revealed to me. It's a logical answer from their point of view. That is how the investigators get their facts and clues right to determine the killer' intention.

Hey Bonaparte! Happy Birthday! Have a great night, and enjoy yourself with the rest of your loved ones. I am sure you will have a great time together with them. Of course, the EB Community will be holding a party for you too. I am going to bring in the beer.
-
I agreed with you. Who is the person whom rated it above average? It will be best to justify why that person felt this way. Are the both of you doing grading out of the academy, when he is not a student there? I can't help it, but to notice that both of you placed thumbs up, and immediately it struck me with that thought.

Mystery Castle - Behind the Scenes
WhiteFang replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Great pictures! I had been following this game since months ago? It's lovely to see these pictures surface again. From the courtyard to the store room, everything has been done with incredible effort, dedicated to bring this game a fun playing experience. Dragonator, once again, congrats and thanks for hosting such a fine Mystery Castle for my first attempt.
