The Baritones Discussion Thread
WhiteFang replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You are really acting like Dragonator, pestering the players to be reminded to send in their night actions. Do Hinckley a favour, otherwise he will be whacking your head in the game, or some mystery accidents might happened along the way for being slow. -
This is getting so much interesting. I will want him to take his chance. Grab some food and canteen from the roof. He has been starving for a long period of time to bid for his escape. Of course, take Sheckles with him. I am sure he will be useful in the future.

Sandy, thanks for explaining why you voted average. It's interesting to know how you actually felt. You have provided an interesting perspective. You are correct, on why a Black Bulls actually required a Black Dragon? In fact, Black Bulls in that theme orientation revolved around catapults and siege engines. They plunder resources from King Leo and are renegades themselves. In the offiical catalog which feature this theme, never reflected these sets or unique parts before. In fact, it was a concidence that it appear out of nowhere. I rated outstanding mainly for its dragon army building capability, exclusive chrome silver headgear and its affordable price.

Hi Alex! Welcome to Eurobricks. I will be looking forward to your contributions in our forums. Where are you from? Any other particular theme you are interested apart from Star Wars? Do tell us more about you.

Hello all Eurobricks members and Castle collectors, The Black Dragon is on the loose! Yes, Cedric from the Black Bulls Kingdom has decided to adopt a Dragon Squadron to form its attack formation, fighting against the Dragon Masters and Lion Kingdom which led by King Leo. What havoc could this black dragon rider caused? Discover the evil below! Name: Dragon Rider Theme: LEGO System / Castle / Knights' Kingdom Year: 2000 Pieces: 14 Minifigs: 1 Price: USD$5.00, SGD$6.90 Resources: Brickset, Peeron An image of a 4818, Dragon Rider Look at the beautiful display, which prompts you to complete the entire set. Here comes the Dragon Rider Cedric is determined to rule and dominate neighboring kingdom. With its intimating Black Dragon Squadron, the above dragon is one of its Black Dragon Riders. The 4818 Dragon Rider is one of the small sets that was released in 2000 under Knights' Kingdom which is a power struggle between King Leo and Cedric. These is the Castle theme back then. This set has an interestig concept, which required a complete set of 4 in order to have a special bonus weapons and accessories. This is one of my favourite small sets, and is useful to build an army of dragons at a relatively low price. In addition, you are able to obtain very good accessories. More importantly, dragons are my all time favourite mythical creatures. Although this dragon breed is under the bloodline unlike its green counterparts, but these dragons are fierce in battle, with one objective in their mind, eliminating its enemines with its ferocity flame. Different angles of the Black Dragon I love how TLG creates such dragons. In fact, such design is simple to play with, uncomplicated, and having an elegant design. Indeed, all dragons are elegant, proud looking creature which only respect its rider and nowhere else. The difference between the green dragon, is its black allure body and its flaming red wings. Taking the dragon apart Meet the Rider The rider is equipped with its halberd and shield. It wears its intimating fiery bull attire and a bright unique chrome silver headpiece. Exclusive part in 4818 This chrome silver helmet headpiece is an representation of the Black Dragon Riders. This helmet is available in this set and is part of this unique collection. This is a must get, for Castle Collector rare accessories. Meet the Black Dragon Squadron Leader! Bonus image This is the special bonus image which required all 4 sets to display this maginificent minifig rare accessories, which is only included from Set No 4816 to 4819. The leader of mine Black Bulls Kingdom, King Cedric in this awesome outfit. Oh, the black robe/cape is my add on to complete its fearing aura. Black Dragon Riders in action To conclude, I love this set very much. I love it so much until I felt so regret, not buying multiple sets of this. In fact, I only have one MISB set left. At that time, this set was not offically released in my country. It was a rare shipment which was displayed in one of the LEGO shops and selling at a very affordable price. This is a lovely dragon. I am sure Dragonator, will agree with me that this is an awesome Dragon Builder set. Tell me, how often are you able to see dragons at such affordable price. Furthermore, there is a rare headpiece included in this lovely set. What more can I complain? The only thing I could think of complaining is, why don't they include Green Dragon as well. Summary review Playability: 10/10 (Awesome playing possibilty. Leave it to your imagination in your medieval kingdom.) Design: 10/10 (Simple and effective dragon rider design) Price: 10/10 (A very inexpensive set. Great way to build an army of black dragons.) Overall: 10/10 (An outstanding army builder dragon set with an exclusive rare head piece.) I gave it a "5" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? Hope everyone of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Critics are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Brickshelf (When moderated)

Batbrick's Jungle Display!
WhiteFang replied to Batbrick's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wow! Nice piece of display, with various scenarios combinations. I really enjoyed it, and it certainly had reminded me a couple of Brickster's touch. Of course, with that amazing Mayan temple and tree house is Batbrick's orignal creations. You have done very well, and I was looking forward to this combined landscaping which is very nicely done. With offical Indiana Jones sets and some Adventurers, it make this entire display very exciting, especially with yours dangerous river bank, filled with many water snakes. I enjoyed viewing this. Any thoughts on any expansion? Great job, Batbrick. -
Really very nice, especially the usage of the transparent base plates from the mosaic. It certainly illustrates the depth of the blue ocean, lurking deep within the sea. Really very nicely done I wonder how did you manage to support the weight from above, by using limited amount of brick pieces, especially using the 1x1 brick to support the entire baseplate.
-
Hey Batbrick, is that a latest space pod from the Russian Aerospace Technology Corps? At the moment, I thought this was an Indiana Jones Futuristic creations of yours. Both designs are really nice, sleek and yet compatible. I am very sure you will want to replace the pliot instead of using that solider, but I must admit that the color scheme suits the pilot very well. On another hand, it reminded me of a pod racer instead. Really very nicely created, Batbrick.

A very peaceful quiet scenery, which illustrate the peace loving orcs? I am not sure on how peaceful can these orcs be. Certainly true enough, this creation of yours has displayed the fisherman orc as a civillan instead of a warrior which wreck havoc onto the humans. It's very nice to see this river side, by making use of SNOT technique. Nice moc.

There are many themes which I love to collect as well, for parts, armies, themes, completion and etc. For Star Wars, I am getting only selected sets to build on my limited scenarios. MTT, is a great start up for a collector like me whom owned only one battledroid.
-
CopMike, thanks for conducting this free raffle. Indeed, it's great to be part of Eurobricks. Sign me up, I wlll love to own a first mini too!
-
After looking through your review, I am wondering if I should get this set or not. There is a high chance for me to get this set, due to its 20 droids which is very impressive. Certainly more impressive will be the MTT itself. It looks very sturdy and firm, plus it offer high playability. Perhaps, I should plan to get it soon, while it is still available. JimButcher, thanks for the review!

Brickster, thanks for the new updated links. It's nice to look at these Jungle Adventures again.

Review: 7979 Castle Advent Calendar (First Look)
WhiteFang replied to brickbitz's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Brickblitz, thanks for sharing. This is a very comprehensive review, which gives us a good insight on its advent content. The jester, maiden, dwarf and the witch are the key figures which I am searching for, especially the maiden. She looks awfully sweet. The accessories offered are great as well, such as the weapons, snake, frog, spider, gold ore, rat, carrot, drum stick, gold plate and etc. Excellent pieces to add to your kingdom. I will love to get multiple sets of these. -
Valentin, nice review! I was thinking of doing this review, and realised there were 3 reviews being done for this lovely set. I must admit this is an amazing set, after buying it in TRU for SGD$49.90 (15% discount). I like the comparison of both spider droid even though one is not LEGO. Thanks for doing this lovely review. It's enjoyable to read.

The Baritones Discussion Thread
WhiteFang replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This is the Day One thread. The topic title is "The Baritones-Day One". It's clearly can be found in the top 3 topics in this forum. -
The first set, is "Flying Squad" or "Flight Squad". The second set is "Land Army Platoon/Squad" I am very sure it meant Air Divison and Land Divison or Corps.

Hinckey, that message is certainly large enough to highlight your intention. The game is starting off fine, in Day 1. Very interesting posts as well. -
Welcome to Eurobricks! Do check out some of the reviews, mocs, news, articles, discussion and etc in all respective forums.

Everyone's entries are very creative indeed. The one I loved the most, is no 3, due to its unique banana design. It looks real nice.

Cpt P.B, this is very interesting. I am looking forward to see how this game can work out. By the way, the design of these playing cards are nicely designed.

Review: 7015: Viking Warrior challenges the Fenris Wolf
WhiteFang replied to The Cobra's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is one of my personal favourite Viking small set. In fact, I had bought multiple sets of this for various reasons. The 2 x red gems, the black armor, the weapons accessories and that fanastic wolf. It's offer great playability. Imagine a force of wolf attacking the vikings, or a dark wizard summoning these dark minons to attack the humans. Endless possibility. This is a very good review as well! Thanks for sharing Cobra. Good job! -
Glad you managed to grab this set. Can't wait for you to build finish, and see this completed set.

Sir Dillion got the right link. I missed Brickster's jungle layout. It had provided me lots of inspiration, and most importantly, to create a table top project like himself. Perhaps, will Brickster has the time to re-link all of the images and display these great layout?
