  1. Welcome Commander Rob! Enjoy your stay with us in Eurobricks!
  2. That amazing x factor is supposed to be the magical touch of EB News Team! Glad to see it falling in place! Oh, I want to take a look on how you have make use of a jet turbine engine turning it into an air conditioner unit. That is some fine history from the EB News. I wonder how Staudie can keep up with his sanity, asking questions around. I am so happy to be part of the team. Happy EB News 1 year Anniversary! Minus away the earlier mishaps, I am sure you are able to survive another year. Be sure to watch out for the next one. Well, I have not planned for the next one though. Give Staudie a break! He deserved to have some good treatment at times! You had spelt Staudie's name wrongly. Geez, I am sure he will be driving the quad bike ramming towards you.
  3. This is a very good review, no doubt about it. About this set, this is a cheap way to buy this set with a witch and some nifty accessories such as the black cat. In fact, I think this is the first time I had ever seen a black cat. It's simple, but not very useful in my collection. Because other Fright Knight sets also offer the witches too. I don't need many witches. Overall, I feel that this is an average set.
  4. Very good review! I enjoyed reading this. I want to buy these battlepacks. Until now, my country has not re-stocked these battlepacks. I wonder will they ever arrived again. I want to build massive armies with this outstanding battlepack set. Hope it will arrived soon.
  5. I have mixed feelings about this. It's like double edge sword. However, your effort to build up this index, must have taken lots of time just to complie this. I am sure it's not an easy task after all. I will reserve my vote until the end of next week. I want to see how the rest of them generally feels.
  6. Thanks for the advent updates. I am looking forward to this set. I am not sure about getting the 4 dwarves. I feel it is used for promotional purpose.
  7. KimT, can I ask you something? Are you going to re-organised only the 2007 to 2008 Castle index to feature thumbnails in it, by using TLG pictures? As for the rest of the pictures, it will remain the old format. Is that what we are voting for the "new" index?
  8. On this, the first anniversary of the news organization that has become so near and dear to your hearts, EB News is pleased to present a very special feature that we've only added recently: The EB News Review! This is really our third such extravaganza, but the first one to actually be done right, so it's my great honour to welcome all of you to this event. I'm your hostess with the mostest, er, host, ImperialShadows, getting in the way and generally causing mayhem will be Staudie, of course, and actually presenting the review will be cub reporter and senior reviewer, WhiteFang! Yes, the ever popular WhiteFang of the Reviewer's Academy. You know him, you love him, let's hear some applause! *audience cheers wildly* Oh, that's too kind, now how about some for WhiteFang? Name: Airplane Mechanic Theme: LEGO System / Town / City Year: 2006 Pieces: 26 Minifigs: 1 Price: USD$3.50 The featured set will be a 7901 Airplane Mechanic. This is the smallest set ever released in the CITY sub theme, Airport. We will be bringing you to on site experience in the hanger. Today our special guest is a mechanic who is specially trained to handle with jet engine turbines. *Camera Rolls* Aren't our pose look so cool? Staudie, your clothes are still white. Let's just all try to smile until this picture is done. Look at our special guest. He can still smile in that weird position of his. Quiet you! *Interviewing process* I am the airplane mechanic, holding a grade 2 license. My specialisation is to maintain and repair jet turbines of 7893 and 7894 Passenger Planes. We have many mechanics, 24/7, across international airports, making sure that the planes are in safe condition. We are able to maintain from Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney and General Electric engines as well. This is the trolley to push the turbine engine around. This model is used for Passenger Planes 7893 and 7894 series. Look at the size of the turbine. It required actually 4 engine turbines like this, to power a 7893 Passenger Plane aircraft. I have all these nice essential tools, to work on that engine behind me. There is a wrench, hammer, oilcan, open end wrench, power drill and screwdriver. *Whistles Innocently* Geez, he thought no one would notice him pushing the engine away? *Testing process* As you can see, the crane is firm and sturdy. It is able to lift the engine at a certain height. Hey get off there! For goodness sake, this is not a rodeo. Yee-Ha! WhiteFang must fixed his loose wires. I knew we shouldn't let him read those Superman comics on break. Give a man a cape, and he thinks he can fly. *the audience laughs* What's so funny? It's dangerous to stand at that position. Staudie, are you done with your measuring yet? Almost there. *Clang Bang Clank* Oof! Get this thing off me! I'll push, you pull! Let's get moving! *CLANG* I think I sprained my pride. No, wait, it's my back. I gave up my pride when I took over this news organization. *Shadows flips the engine, crushing WhiteFang* Get that hook off my head... Guess, we are heading for a commerical break at the moment. Wait up, let me pull the white curtain. That's all, everyone. With me, Staudie bringing the end of the show. ImperialShadows and WhiteFang are currently in the LEGOLAND Hospital where WhiteFang is getting patched up and Shadows is flirting with the nurses, mostly. I really hope you loved this interactive review brought to you by EB News Reviews. Overall, we felt that this was a very good impulse set with a wide range of mechanical tools and an extra turbine to play with. Therefore, we recommend you to get it since it's very affordable. Anyway, every airport need mechanics/engineers to maintain the aircrafts to make sure it's certified to fly. This is too formal. I hate reading it from WhiteFang's script. It's best to do it in Staudie's style. Yo yo yo, whazzup? Er. No, that isn't it either. Um... Thanks for viewing! I hope to bring you another exciting and information review soon, here on EB News Reviews! *Camera Fades*
  9. Happy Birthday Jinzo! Have a great day filled with fun!
  10. Woo hoo! Nice model pose! This contest was done, when I was not a EB Member yet. Geez, I had been missing all of the nice contest around in EB. Sinner, I noticed your unique insignia as well.
  11. Location: L13 (Aldresgate, Odessa Region, Black Knights Kingdom) Lord Hector assembled a section of the Imperial Guards. The guards, standing still by their side of the steeds with their dragon scale armor and sword, the guards are ready to ride with Lord Hector. The guards were briefed earlier by Lord Hector to set off for Neb Monastery. However, they are not aware of the true objective, except for Lord Hector and Fernando. All of them were prepared and were ready to ride out. Meanwhile at Majestic Tower, Lord Calvin and Lady Kristine went to look for Master Pent and asked why Lord Hector left his commanding post. He explained to them that Lord Hector had an important task to attend and appointed both of you to be Castle Commander while he is away. Lord Calvin added “Master Pent, our defenses are spread out across the lands. With Lord Kenneth away, White Fang is held under Lady Kristine as Vice Commander. My Red Valiant is still recovering from the recent assault. Now, Lord Hector is away for an important task. How are we able to strengthen our position in the Capital? Can we request Prince Sam or Lord Jason’s armies to assist our forces in the capital? Master Pent replied “I had been thinking awhile. If we requested their immediate assistance now, our borders might be at risk of invasion. This request will be put on hold until much consideration will be taken.” Both of them understand and took their leave.
  12. To be honest, I am going to give this set a "1"... That is my lowest rating I will ever give to a set in Eurobricks. In fact, this is the only impulse set which I do not have it at all. After looking at your wonderful review, I am going to give it a "2" and actually consider it to buy at least one to complete the entire impulse set series. I don't really like the design and the alien at all. In fact, I prefer the Mars Mission astronaunt more than the aliens. I don't really like the set but I like your review.
  13. Leave? Never! I seriously don't think anyone will leave. After all, EB News production is an orignal concept which is created by Staudie. I think Staudie will need to put on his thinking cape to spike some inspirations. After all, the "live" chat was a new concept to present EB News Interview with a total new perspective. Any idea from the outlaw, is greatly appericated.
  14. Vincent, awesome moc! I love it very much. The entire samurai mecha is very impressive. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Fantastic review! This is one of the classic minifigs pack which is so great for gathering massive number of minifigs. I miss those days where they sell 5 minifigs together in a set. Thanks for this lovely review.
  16. Nice one! They looks cute, suitable for Mini Creators. Let's hope the Vestas's deal is real.
  17. This is an awesome moc. The entire creation is so detailed from the top to the bottom. I am very impressed by the way of life in Nepal which is virtualise by you. It's indeed very impressive from looking just the scale only. The bridge and landscaping looks realistic from far. While the interoir of the house is neat and tidy with nice wooden facade. The most incredible feature is the yeti cave beneath its house. This is a stunning piece of art. I just enjoyed viewing your mocs.
  18. Great job! KimT. I love this index very much. It's a pity that I don't have any more Ninja sets, apart from Shanghai Surprise, which is not complete at the moment. By the way, I am supposed you are the one whom had added the polls into my reviews. Thanks.
  19. Staudie, you scared me with that sad topic title of yours! Indeed, it's the one year anniversary for the EB News present. Although I have been a little slow lately due to other things, but be ready for some surprises in the near future. I will try and get myself back, into the picture again.
  20. I wanted to comment this long ago. This is an amazing classic town set, which is very beautiful. I must admit that you keep this set in a very good condition, including the box as well. I enjoyed this review very much. The illustration of the typical London scene is lovely. I must admt that this is a well designed set. No doubt for me, an instant 5 for the Classic London Bus. On a side note, this was featured in Classic Town and is part of the reviews index as well.
  21. To be honest, I like this creation very much. I can see you had put in some efforts, trying to picture Antarctica for us, the penguin habitants. I think this is a good try. Did you ever think of using SNOT to represent the snow in your moc? I am not sure if it will turn out well. Good effort. On a side note, why did you change your sig fig? This picture looks a little blurred.
  22. This is a very hard decision for most of us here? It seemed the 6374 is leading by a little bit. I choose the 6349, mainly because this was one of my childhood set. That is not a very valid reason. In fact, both sets are really outstanding in their own way and similar as well. Sometimes, I wonder if both sets are supposed to be sister sets? I am sure it will look very nice when both sets are placed side by side. This is a very hard decision. Let's hear from the rest of them.
  23. Staudie, this is a very good interview. I enjoyed reading it, and you had indeed put in lots of effort for the EB News interviews. Certainly enough, it's never easy and required high amount of time and energy to do up these kind of stuff that you have been doing for almost a year. Keep these interviews coming. Great job as usual.
  24. Thanks for all of your kind words and great support for this once famous LEGEND set, which got a second chance to be re-released again for people whom had missed it before. Indeed, this is the kind of LEGO sets which is great addition for any LEGO Town or City. Hope you managed to find a good deal in the Internet. That last comment of yours certainly makes my day bright. Thanks Brickster. You are one of them as well. What Pirate set did you actually buy instead of the Pizza to Go? Hope you are able to find a good buy on the Internet. Geez, you twisted my words "free" Indeed, you are "dear". Lastly, thanks for that lovely surprise. I really enjoyed viewing that sweet decals of yours. Looks tasty too. Actually, this is one of my surviving stars among my sets. Well, I will need to find better sets for the new ones. I agreed with you. In fact, recently there was a hot topic created by K.D on what is your favourite takeaway. Look at here for more discussions and views.
  25. I can answer on behalf for KimT, if memories served me right. Yes, there is a hole for placing the knight's plume. Do correct me wrong, if I had answered wrongly. It's been awhile since I last touched my castle sets. Thanks KimT for this fine review. This is one of the castle sets which I had bought high volume, mainly for its horses, barding and the weapons. A great army builder and accessories for your castle armies. This is an instant "5".
