  1. Thanks to The Brothers Brick LEGO blog for highlighting this year upcoming LEGO Architecture sets. Both Guggenheim Museum and the Fallingwater iconic buildings that are part of Frank Lloyd Wright's collection. These LEGO designs were done by Adam Reed Tucker. Join in the discussion in our Eurobricks LEGO Trains & Town forum. Click here to join this discussion.
  2. First post is updated with new set information. Thanks to TBB for sharing this info with the LEGO Community.
  3. I am not sure if I had answered correctly, based on the mechanics of this game. No, we do not require to have a general group agreement in order to procced into another new area. Some of them could choose to remain as where they are, while the rest will explore other areas. When those players initial "Dynamic Movements", Brickster will host a separate level of either open discussion or closed discussion via the use of pm where information are shared or certain actions are used in that scenario. The rest out of the loop will not know what's going on. Since this is the first dynamic movement that some of us had gone, I suppose Brickster is the ultimate approval from the skies above. He is a mysterious source of unknown power.
  4. Since you guys are heading over there, might as well follow you all. I am sure we are able to conclude something from it. Dynamic movement: Brakes is heading with Steve and the rest to the Passenger Car 2.
  5. A little bit of that doesn't harm anyone! Cheers!
  6. Woo hoo, finally, I am able to see Hinckley's entry in the Staff Category. I did specify the rules though, but I guess you are too busy to notice that. However, I will like to commend you for your efforts and time for participating in this contest. Your entry is indeed very nice and I expect nothing less from you. The building structure is very nicely done and awesome with those classic colors combinations and windows. The interior is simple and yet so classic. I didn't know the Chef is the one whom deals the pub. Love this entry of yours, and this has been featured in Classic-Town.net.
  7. You sounds awesome fun to hang out with. If you don't mind, we could grab a drink at the counter where I can get the steward to serve us some best drinks. By the way, don't tell my management about that. I couldn't afford a pay dock. YummY!! Thanks chef.
  8. I am a little too old for jokes, but I get the meaning. Can we eat and play cards at the same time? D & D? I don't remember playing those, perhaps I can get my son's Magic The Gathering desk and burn you guys with lighting bolt. That's what my nerdy son used to said when he was still in high school.
  9. Both Eurobricks members, Oky Wan Kenobi and Master-Evil, have done some latest Space Police reviews which are the 5970 Freeze Ray Frenzy, 8399 K-9Bot and 8400 Space Speeder. It seemed those 2009 sets that are scheduled for summer is going to be out for an early release. Meanwhile, check out these fast flying reviews in Eurobricks LEGO Space & Mecha forum. 10. Howdy, Austin. I am the Emerald Express's Brakesman, Grant Buell. You can call me Brakes for short. I am the one taking care of the train brakes. Where are you from? Are you from Texas? I will wash my hand later. I am feeling lazy. Don't ask me to get a haircut or a shave. You can't expect a brakesman to look neat and tidy like a businessman. How can I work when I look so clean, working under the trains. Imagine all the grease and oil, on my overall. Grab me some of the waffles of your specality, and I will be eating along with Steve hiding in the engines. By the way, Captain Maxwell, do you need any assistance.
  11. I agreed. Let's give them time to do their maintaince or updates on their site. I am sure it will be alright.
  12. Unfortunately, it's something which is not available as a general usage for members. Therefore, it's strongly adviced before you create a topic, it's a good habit to look through your topic title and description before posting them live. Drop us a pm to any of the staff online with your request, and we will help to process them. However, do give us time to react accordingly. I will lock this topic, since this question has been answered. If you have any further questions, drop me a message for further enquires. Thanks.
  13. Steve, the engine brakes are all checked and ready. It seemed there are more and more passengers, and glad to see our fellow colleagues are ushering them well to the seats. I heard there was a game later on, count me in. I am not very good with poker though. I love to play dices. Love those numbers. By the way, Schmelt can I have that waffle with super duper delicious tasty ice cream on top as well? I am famished..
  14. That's sucks.. Go and apply your leave again, or get your buds to cover you for your next duty. Anyway, not all of them had arrived. I heard these passengers are specially invited. I wonder how special truly they are.. Some of them just look like kids. Just look at that kido with that wide brim specs.
  15. posades, glad to know that most of them are basic bricks. It's unfortunate that the white shutters are in it. Apart from that, your exclusive part has gotten yellowed too. May I suggest that you take a look at this Pizza to Go Restoration set project, done by ImperialShadows, which has been highlighted in the first few posts. He has covered the decals and stickers to allow us to re-produce it again. Hope it helps.
  16. Hey Steve, glad to see you here. I thought you are away for a holiday. We need to check those mechanical stuff later, before we get the train on the moveeee. By the way, where is our train conductor, he need to check those tickets... Can't afford to let laggards to hop on to this luxury Emerald Express.
  17. Thanks Svelty! Be sure to drop by once in awhile, and let me know if you have any interest for anything. Well, I want to get rid a little some of my spares, especially those themes which I am intending to give up, to allow me to focus on the themes I want.
  18. Great start!!! The opening scene had certainly gotten the tempo going. By the way, could I request all players to place their character's name under your sig for easy reference. Thanks in advance.
  19. Welcome onboard, everyone. My name is Grant Buell. Just call me "Brakes" for short. Me is the one and onlyyyyy Brakesman in the Emerald Night Express payroll. I might look a little crude, just don't let appearance deceive my heart of gold. Well, I always conduct regular maintaince checks on our trains' brakes. These brakes are very vital. We can't afford to have any faulty brakes at those sharp corners. Can I help with those suitcases? Watch your steps.
  20. It's defintely nice to see this past Classic Town review re-surface again. I I agreed that this set is perfect for someone with a small collection. In fact, I feel that this set is one of the "must have" set that can allow you build your pizza franchise in your town. Is it possible to restore it by getting those bricks or parts again? Yellowed bricks is really very saddening. It reminds me of my Breezeway Cafe. Those were the days where we are too young to know how to take good care of our toys. You are right! The girl could have been a customer. I thought of her as a staff. Misrepresentation could be so easy, but then again, the box nevr stated its role too.
  21. Dear all, Recently, I had tried to explore the usage of BrickLink and Paypal which I had managed to understand and able to apply the features to a certain degree. Although I am not a very well known buyer or seller in marketplace, but I have received positive feedbacks from both I Scream Clone and Chris_Austin whom I have done trade with them before. In this case, I had placed most of my merchandise into BrickLink and hoping I am able to utilise its function to its best within my knowledge. I will like to extend my invite to my fellow Eurobricks Community to take a look at my newly opened BrickLink store, Castle Odessa. On top of that, I will be giving 10% off for all items listed in the shop till the end of this year. This offer is exclusive for Eurobricks members. Kindly state your member's id, and I will do the necessary adjustment which I believed I could. Lastly, thanks for your time to read this small notice. WhiteFang
  22. Can't wait to get the mystery starting. Just by knowing the rules of this game had certainly made me feel much excited on this highly anticpated game. I must admit that whatever we do in there, is going to make a difference in our actions.
  23. First of all, Asya & Bobby, I am very glad that both of you managed to enter this contest with this surprising entry of yours. Seriously, you surprised me with this title of yours, "A Day at the Races". I was expecting something similar or related to Grand Prix Classic Town racing scene which is very common back in those 1980s and I enjoyed played those small go karts race vehicles back then zooming around my tabletop town when I was a child. However, when I viewed at your entry, I am really happy to see something very orignal that I have not seen before in a Classic Town settings, which is Horse Racing in turf clubs. This entry grasp the essential classic town feel, added with some new touch. The stadium is very nicely designed especially its VIP Lounge combining with the Commentor's booth. At the stand, the audience are able to crowd around cheering for their bets, I mean, their favourite jockey. By the way, I love that horse trailer of yours and somehow the color combination did remind me of the Vestas van though. This is a very nice entry. This Classic Town scene has been featured in Classic-Town.net.
  24. The fact is, it is Singapore time at 12pm as I am defintely around to wrap up this contest. Yes, it's defintely nice to see a few more entries making it in time and I must admit that all entries defintely had achieved the Classic Town feel. How nice will it be, if we are able to integrate all entries together to form a tabletop town. They can still try. Oh.
