  1. Very nice video! I find it cute too! Thanks for sharing, as this is not the right place to discuss this. I will move this topic to "Culture and Multimedia".
  2. *zzzzzzzzzzzzzz* Better get some sleep first.. That Greaseman is leaning too near to my arms. (I love that song very much!)
  3. It's so nice to read and update this topic! Now, I know where those funny titles came from. Keep it coming. 42 Eurobricks members and counting! Opps, now I know where it came from.
  4. A Swiss Crocodile locomotive, I wonder if we could ever start it up. I think its a great idea, if we are able to use the spare parts as subsitutes, but Steve and I need to examine it first. You guys, are getting tired. Actually, I am feeling the strain too, especially on my earlier injury.
  5. It doesn't help much to add such agreeable comments whenever someone adds iin their own views by simply jumping onto their views. I strongly believed that this discussion may started off negatively, but at least we are having a common understanding between fellow players to prevent much further misunderstanding as well. Most of the members here are relatively adults and are able to hold an educated matured discussion added to this intended context, and such discussions may deemed necessary to get each others' views to be understood at certain times, by coming to a general understanding agreement with least negative impact for fellow players to endure.
  6. Regardless of positive and negative feedbacks, it will always be good feedback as long it's constructive and meant to provide good advice. I always appericate good feedback of value that is able to made my experience to share with others, a positive experience in the future as I learned from it. However, the point which I will like to made above and reinforce it again, it's not as if TheBrickster is ignoring the progress and experience of the players' experience in this discussion or the actual main or sub chapters when he is here almost everyday to provide updates for us, or leaving to us to wander around aimlessly without any guided directions. We should be having fun in this game especially when I heard about such similar games are conducted once in a blue moon.
  7. I think all of us are kind of scared about stepping onto some spooky stuff. I believe so. Mine got damaged during the fall, and this is the most powerful torch we had. Where do you want to shine at?
  8. First of all, I don't think its polite and fair by blatantly lashing out views and comments about the host not giving his best. TheBrickster, deserves credit for able to organise and dedicate his combined time and effort to deliver an incredible interactive gaming experience so far, for these very special group of players whom have submitted a written invitation, stating your interest and willingness to participate. It's not and never easy, to coordinate such high commintment involvement for us, fellow players. Imagine "You" as TheBrickster's position, host of this very game, ask yourself these questions, your plans and time, of able to coordinate both Primary and Secondary characters at different stages of this game, by allowing it to progress in ideal plotting sequence, developing the entire plot, doing up those beautiful graphics to place ourselves in that very scenario, understanding various stages of communication via pm or main topic, delivering clues to various players at different stages depending whether the players want to share their clue or not, checking whether inactive players are active or not, making sure that all various main plot and sub plot is in sync and etc.... These are just some basic questions of what TheBrickster is facing... He is kind and hardworking enough to check on the progress of this game, on a daily basis at 2 different timing which is morning and night over the past weeks. We have players residing in different time zones, and one of the essential progress of this game is definitely needs time for one player to progress another level, as we need each others' action and conversation, to allow the game to procced further, in an enjoyable fashion. He been reading and reading the entire main and sub chapters to ensure that the recorded actions are not dupe or wrongly written. He has to understand various characters' way of writing and jargon being used, in order to excerise necessary actions in his plot. All of these events doesn't happen in one night.. He has a masterplan in mind, and I trust him completely, by able to participate in his story, waiting patiently for his update, following most of the chapters and progress of this game, as I know these entire sub things will eventually make sense in the end. What is a mystery if you know everything at the start. Come on everyone, what fun and joy could we have if we know everything by the start. Does it even make a big difference in our experience just because TheBrickster modified some part of the rules. It doesn't change anything, but to ensure we can move in an organised fashion, to get things done in the quickest way. I am extremely disappointed with players whom has taken their views far too much and in my honest opnion, it's not fair to TheBrickster at all. Why don't we just sit back and relax, and trust TheBrickster way of doing. It's not meant to target at anyone, but I feel there is a need to bring this fair point across to every single players in this game...
  9. Someone has changed that misleading title for you earlier. Luckily, I did pay attention to that poll otherwise I will place my vote wrongly.
  10. *Taking the torchlight and shine even further* We ain't going to stop until we explored this entire place, and find the parts we needed. The rest of the groups are waiting for us to get this thing done, and get our locomotive moving again. Well, we just note carefully on the old rail tracks walking on those. These rails are out of service for a very long time. I wonder what is the end of this road. Another train hiding down there?
  11. I almost voted "Below Average" instead of "Above Average".
  12. About time. I thought you wanted to lurk behind the dark while leaving the rest of us in front. It's a good thing that you used to work here before. Time to show us around this place and find the remaining parts. By the way, did you see that message before?
  13. Since when Space Police III has a new set begining with "4399"? I think this could be the only set which I may buy to try out whether I like this theme or not. The minifig for this set looks great, with all of those printing, and made much suitable as a member of SWAT Police. The Robo dog ain't too bad. The design is simple and yet so effective. With regards to the flashlight, back in those earlier Space themes, these flashlight were used to represent their weapons or some kind of scanning device. Are you expecting some SW blasters instead?
  14. For the next 72 hours or so, "Re-discover the bustling streets of Classic Town Contest" voting shall come to an end. Have you vote for your favourite Classic Town Scene for 2009? Click here to view the EBCTC Voting discussion.
  15. Simply because you are greasy enough, I believe. Slick and smooth. Don't tell me you are worried, of some hidden butcher knife hitting onto your chest when you opened the door, aren't you?
  16. Staudie! Out of the sudden, you just pop out of nowhere! Geez, I am glad you have returned again. Hope things are much stable and better, which will allow you to devote your time again, to rebuild the wonderful interesting EB News Interviews. Seriously, welcome back Staudie!
  17. I am the one whom gotten injured earlier, yet I am the one leading you guys? Come on, don't be a coward, and be more daring. I will rather one of you to take a lead now, please, especially those whom think their speciality might come in use. If I understand correctly, I am sure one of us has different understanding of searching stuff.
  18. I got a feeling that there is something strange about this abandoned train shed. This taunting message is trying to tell us something. Can any of the town citizens tell me if this train shed or anywhere nearby, that may have a temple, church or a place of worship. Could it be some holy grounds or retreat? I will like to take a closer look at the nearby walls where this message was found, perhaps they might be more similar messages that we could have missed earlier.
  19. *Walking closer to Smith* Let me take a closer look and examined the N1 Vertical Drive Gear for greater details, such as viewing the manfacturing and compatibility details that engraved onto its side, exploring possibility of whether N1 can be a temporary replacement for T1.
  20. I did a quick search and realise that there are 3 similar topics of the same nature, and I had merged all 3 topics together, in one discussion area, to allow members to contribute ideas for the next Vintage Minifigs volume.
  21. This is one amazing entry, and I love how you designed the skull, by making sure that it look similar to AT-ST.
  22. Finally, you have begun your PSM project! Great, and this first Step/Chapter started off very well, and interesting. I love how you lined up those Exo Force characters and dialogs. With regards to the choices, I believe there is nothing we could do about the walls, and there could be another advance technology out there which could penetrate those defenses again. Why not, letting the Exo Force team, to train up the civillians to provide support and backup such as medic, re-supply, logistics and etc. Who knows, we could discover one rare gem among those civilians. A young hero, perhaps. Keep it up!
  23. ISC, this is a very very good attempt on this new reviewing style. I am enjoying the read, and at the same, there are lots of useful and beautiful pictures to complement with. More importantly, thanks for taking your time to build up this incredible mega modular set review. Indeed, this is one of the best looking modular City sets if you are out to collect to complete one side of your street. I am proud to own this set in my collection. This set, no doubt, a pure "5".

    AVP

Plain awesome! It looks exactly like the movie scene! Your building skills simply amazed me. This is a very good illustration of the AVP.
