Thank you! Minifig scale achieved. Thanks! You can rest assured that I will certainly post in this theme again when that happens.

Thank you, that was the primary objective. Thanks! Cramming in all the curves whilst aiming to make it true to the original was the main challenge.

A car I made about 4 years ago and was patiently waiting for all the necessary parts to be produced in Dark green. That time has not yet arrived unfortunately so here it is in red. Much appreciated Thorsten. The best compliment one can get when making a replica is that it's instantly recognizable, so thanks again! It is tough to do at this scale, although the whole moc building went quite smoothly, almost too smoothly, but I won't complain.

The colour combination was obviously decided by the black fender piece 6255875 which will probably never exist in any other colour. Thankfully I had the necessary dark red parts to recreate the iconic colour scheme of the car. Much appreciated! The shape I wanted to achieve demanded such techniques in order to make it all "legal".

My attempt at making a minifig scaled Volkswagen Beetle, couldn't do it all in red like I Initially wanted, but I think this colour combo makes it looks sporty. One minifigure can be seated inside although I did not provide proof of that. Not gonna lie, took me quite a bit of time until I was satisfied with the angles, proportions and everything else. Glad you like the end product!

Thank you! It certainly was a trial and error process. Thanks!

Nicely done, I can almost smell it. I especially like the instrument board connected to the chair.

Thanks! That was the the only part of the plane which actually sorted itself out pretty quickly, every other thing (wings, front, back, cockpit, landing gear...) required a lot of planing and experimenting in order to make it work. Glad you like it :)

The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the world's first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft. A historical documentary I saw on TV inspired me to build this aircraft in particular. It features retractable landing gear and just enough space to fit a minifig head inside the cockpit. The main colour of the fighter is Dark bluish gray while the underside of the plane is mostly done in Light bluish gray. by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr In order to retract the landing gear a small hatch has to be removed first and afterwards the landing gear has been retracted the hatch can be returned to it's position. by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr by legomanijak, on Flickr

[MOC] Who's Singin' Over There? (Ko to tamo peva)
legomanijak replied to legomanijak's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you for the kind words! I've displayed this moc at my Lugs (Skockani) exhibition in Novi Sad two weeks ago, and many, many people have recognized it, which was definitely what I wanted to see :D, they were mostly asking: "When did Lego release a set based on the movie "Ko to tamo peva"?", which was what inspired me to put it on Lego Ideas. B&W photo, hmm, perhaps, but then again the movie is in color.- 4 replies

A scene from one of the greatest comedy movies of all time Who's Singin' Over There? (Ko to tamo peva). The film tells a story about a group of passengers traveling by bus to Belgrade but on their way there they come across many problems, such as this shaky bridge the bus should drive over. I've also made the Moc into a project over at Lego Ideas, so if anyone would like to support it you can do that here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/83f13efc-9885-48cf-9ebd-3abc197234fe Thanks in advance! 1 by legomanijak, on Flickr 2 by legomanijak, on Flickr 3 by legomanijak, on Flickr 4 by legomanijak, on Flickr 5 by legomanijak, on Flickr 6 by legomanijak, on Flickr 7 by legomanijak, on Flickr 8 by legomanijak, on Flickr 9 by legomanijak, on Flickr 11 by legomanijak, on Flickr

MOC: The emblem of the Dutch Football Association
legomanijak replied to legomanijak's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I know that KNVB was the appropriate thing to write but it is much easier to make the letters for the word 'Holland' than for 'KNVB'. I read on Wikipedia that Holland is one of the nicknames for the national team so that's why i chose that word :) Thanks for the nice words guys ! :) -
This is something I made after the match between The Netherlands and Spain at the World Cup. From the beginning I was rooting for The Netherlands (since my country isn't participating in the competition) and was very happy with the resault. Because of that I decided to make something in relation to the match so i made the emblem of the Dutch football association ( the famous lion head with a crown on top). Hope you guys like it :) http://www.dodaj.rs/f/1L/5s/1H6iDf7A/p1060257.jpg
