Sexy as always... I think we were recently talking about SWG on facebook too haha. Nice to see it on here now.
-
@Lock Thank you! Thinking of trying out another variant YT setup for my next UCS build. Of course, will also have to either build a hangar to display them all or get shelving down the road.
-
Thank you! Yep, still able to close with everyone inside.
-
I had a speeder buying spree for two weeks haha. Made use of the Imperial battle packs/speeder to make my own barricade and speeder stop.

Cockpit mod for what I have. Thought you guys might enjoy the design as it allows the seats to stay and Chewie can still fit. Fits Chewie, but easier to replace his seat with a 2x2 brown flat square. Kyle Katarn standing while Jan Ors flys.

Don't mind Happy Jim. He's too nice to be a Pirate.
-
Thank you! Yea, always liked building them too. Was going to build a Kimogila or a Rihkxyrk but the builds never went farther than the engines. Built a Ixiyen fighter once but it was smaller then it should be. As you can see, the majority of my builds are based on my Star Wars Galaxies experience hehe.

I was disappointed as well... so I won't be surprised. So that's why I have "fake Lego" in the search tags and mentioned it beforehand. Not really hiding it or saying "haha! Fake is better!" How I think is the fake one I can do whatever to and not worry about Lego certificates of approval. Which is why I want to keep the older UCS Falcon together how it is meant to be. I have however bought fake Lego pirate ships more so to increase the different type of sailing ships I have. Some are actually pretty nice (sails, slight different design from Lego) and maybe down the road when I have them all out, I'll do a post in the Pirate section of the forums for all my ships. That you do! You can see both type 1 and type 2 variants parked there. If you look in my Mocpage linked in my sig, I have those and two Dunelizards with better pictures. I first started them on Lego Digital Designer. True all of that... it was sad to see Lego go out of stock so quickly for it on their website for it, was actually wanting to get one. So I am not really complaining about this one being half the price. Already got replacement stickers off ebay and the figures I hate will get sent to Lego prison lol.

Hey there! Have not really been online much, but thought to go ahead and post stuff that I have been building so far. At one point, I was planning on building a Pirate/oriental port with wooden walls and docks for my ships... then got lazy and added a laser turret atop one of the buildings and turn it to a place for most of my ships to park. Then I obtained what I thought was a 75192 Millennium Falcon to go with my 10179 Falcon. Sadly I was dupped and it is from a group called Star Plan (Or might as well be Lepin). But.... I decided to still go with it, and maybe turn it to another YT-1300 variant down the road when I finish the stockish set. Possibly add more of a interior. There are some points in the build where the instructions tell you to put the bricks one way... but the moldings won't physically allow it to work. So I am forced to go my own way on some points. Along with my YT-1300 collection I got my A-wings and V-wings and other ships. Down the road I might go to try building an actual star port for all of them... and maybe mix in the oriental buildings into the setting as much as I can lol. But yea... hope you enjoy the following pictures. The A-wings V-wings and other ships. The "real" Lego MFs. My first YT variant next to the origional MF set. A simple mirror swap and re situating the dish. Then a change of the interior. Unfortunately no pictures of the inside... No for that clone... unfortunately it all came in one box. Was a big thing just to organize it all... then there was the dang stickers. I have since went to ebay to buy better ones. Sigh... Didn't get it from ebay... but still ended up with this... yes I could complain and return... but got bricks that work with my own and a means to build a YT variant. Will have to say that Old Man Han looks good. Leia's costume is good... and Chewie is nicely painted. Droids are ok... main characters look very funky... And apparently I don't have a freighter but a frerghter... one of the many reasons why I replaced the stickers. The build. Was testing if the bags were labeled right... so one of the first things I built was the cockpit. Where I left it at. Sad part is I don't have a close-up... but when I get home I'll do that. Went the custom route on the mandible details as I plan to change it up later anyways. Hope you enjoyed them. I am away from home so can't finish it right now... last picture is where it sits and I got tired of Legos mixing up in other bags. So I poured all them together and put them in the white box the fake MF is sitting on.

An update. Strengthened the bottom, added a cargo hold under the middle room, and put landing gear on it. Those might be too high... but I have a stable ship to work on now. Also reorganized my room to get more floor space. http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/84377/14011596742_DISPLAY.jpg http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/84377/14011596765_DISPLAY.jpg I also sacrificed the yacht. http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/84377/14011596754_DISPLAY.jpg You can also find more pictures on my mocpage of this. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/387789

Thanks! It is still going on.. I've been beefing up the bottom to hold everything together. Trying to figure out how to construct the sides with the escape pods and rear landing gear. Yep, I saw that. It is also found pointing down in one of the dark horse comics. Hasbro didn't get it wrong. They most likely were following the model that SWG put out back in 2008, which I am following for this. I'm not sure why Sony and Lucas Arts decided on that design for a MMO, but I always liked their game design over what was in Ep 3. Yes, it should be a closed helmet because Mon Calamari don't fly V-wings. That is a rebel pilot someone wanted to include with the picture I am guessing. But no, I know what your talking about. They just included a ARC pilot with it so they would not have to design a new figure.

I don't think I posted this here. But if I did, this is mod 2 of it. Wanted to make the wings fold forward as they should in some references I know of. First version was flimsy that I designed from LDD. Had a green bubble top too that I wanted to change down the line too. Later got a new canopy for the cockpit and made the wings better to look at. They look more like armored plates which is cool. The inside. Wings open. Missing the new V-wing... I bet the next one will have the wings fold backwards! Then the rotation will be complete! You can also see where I got the new canopy from.

I really like the RGIs... I miss seeing those back when I played SWG. What are the light grey pieces on their winglets? For support? I'll have to read Crimson Empire too...

More to the bottom deck. Just building this is bringing back all sorts of good memories. http://images.mocpag...501_DISPLAY.jpg http://images.mocpag...512_DISPLAY.jpg http://images.mocpag...523_DISPLAY.jpg

Lol, they are actually the top panels of the ISD with a corner taken off. I was very lazy, but it will be fixed :D It will be big, but the better part is this will be more achievable than my last big ship designs. Going to get hot on it over the weekend!

Thank you! I wanted to try my hand at building something that was close to one or two colors. Aside from the YT, the only "large" ship I have is a multi-colored hippy Lady Luck that I had made many years ago in a big need of a overhaul. Everything else are fighters. The front window I was not planning to use. I just pulled that off TIE to have an idea where the canopy would be. Aside from the one room, everything else is a 15 minute layout to have a idea of the angles. I was thinking of trying a brickbuilt version. If that did not work, one from an older model TIE might work. But now that you mentioned the UCS, that might be better. Yea, I want to go all out with this.
-
Thanks, I tend to lean towards the lesser known ships of the SW universe. From what I have seen online, there has only been one other Decimator built before this.

Started on a new large scale build a few days ago based on a Imperial scout ship off the MMO SWG. My YT-1300 needs an Imperial rival to harass it in the shipping lanes. The sacrifice of a boxed up UCS ISD will be worth it. Estimating the scale. http://images.mocpag...421_DISPLAY.jpg http://images.mocpag...443_DISPLAY.jpg Starting the interior structure. The main room. http://images.mocpag...591_DISPLAY.jpg http://images.mocpag...602_DISPLAY.jpg http://images.mocpag...603_DISPLAY.jpg http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/387789

I am a bit late in the reply, but thank you! That thing is like 8-9 years old and in dire need of an overhaul and paint update. Made back when I did not care at all for color. Since then, my squadron gained one more little interceptor :D. And a Pizzaria to feed them all lol. -
Thank you! And yes... when I pulled out my collection from storage I felt very nostalgic. So much good memories. If you ever wish to feel like time has really flown by, I think these guys are my oldest technics in my collection.

I built this monster years back and only have recently taken him out of the storage box. When I first had him, I was bored of his current arms. I wanted to try to make the arms that were originally from the Toa Exo suit, so I made two of those and made some other changes. Like armor to his legs. Enjoy. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/993347_604395462925135_2088486602_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/16897_604394772925204_380340652_n.jpg https://sphotos-a-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/972063_604395126258502_270348137_n.jpg https://sphotos-a-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/999684_604395146258500_1523581980_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc1/995451_604395002925181_918176123_n.jpg https://sphotos-a-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/1009802_604395256258489_51054879_n.jpg https://sphotos-b-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/942461_604395302925151_863546752_n.jpg

My little starport of ragtag fighters and EU ships I made. -
The Empire's cousin to the YT-1300... very well done. I had loved flying and decorating this ship in SWG. Only thing that might need improved on is the cockpit up on top. You used the grey vent pieces but meh... it still looks pretty good. Your the first I have seen who had built the Deci :D
-
Wow... why have I just seen this now. Your Sorosuub beats mine hands down and I can't keep from staring at the pictures. I think it is cool how it separates into different modules to make it more accessible. It is a very great entry and gives a good idea of what a pampered droid's surroundings are like. Though I think for this contest, you could have had R2D2 in the hot tube (oil bath? hehe) with everyone around and serving him >.<

Well, the Reaper is now just about finished. The only thing it lacks is a kitchen. I also want to make a second cockpit design to house a capsule like within the game, but I want to finish tweaking the ship here and there first until I am completly satisfied. Here is a final shot of it. I have more pictures on my flickr account as well. Enjoy!
