  1. Oh, very nice find! Never saw this site before but I got to read up on a few sets I owned such as the Barracuda. The stories are good.
  2. Very nice, aye the wings are very well done. I like how the colors fit nicely together as well. And congrats for being blogged lol :D
  3. As a someone who loves everything Tusken, that will be a must get in my book. It is very well made, it's awesome.
  4. Wow, those ones are good! I had tried building the Rihkxyrk at one point not using the LDD but I had failed horribly in it. The Kimogila there is pretty good... just can't see the pictures well with them so small. But yea, that thing is huge... so it makes sence to have alot of living space in it. I took alot of screenshots of the dual winged style before I logged off SWG for the last time so I can make it sometime in the future. Well... its been a good game. Been 4 hours since they shot the server hamsters. I'll never forget the good times in it :)
  5. Thanks, yes I had thought of the possibility of the wing hinges being loose though have tried it on a real model. If they are new pieces though, I am betting that they would be good... as it takes a bit of breaking into to get them loose. If not, then there is always the idea of just warping the circle abit with heat so it would fit tighter. The engines are more of a oval shape, but I decided to just use what I had. Plus, the funny thing was that ship shared those engines with another fighter I had built at the time lol. So whenever I wanted to fly one of them, I just pulled the engines off the one ship and smacked them onto the other LOL. Thank you very much!
  6. Thank you! To quote my brother Multicolored creations are a badge of honor! It says "I am home built, with pieces of my fallen comrades!" I think that is a very good way to put it. As for your question, I am not sure what exactly what you are asking. The real Lego version that I owned is what you see in the pictures. As for which set, I am not really sure what you mean. We just have a big bin of Legos from many many past sets of different themes. None of the pieces were bought in bulk from online stores or Ebay. Hopefully that should answer your question.
  7. Hehe, at one point I had the old Sebulba pod racer in there. It was taken apart in large sections, but it was able to hold it all.
  8. Oh, wow. Yes I like the black and white photo of it better. It's a big change in how it looks, instead of seeing the colors you are focusing more on how it's built. Yes, we did not have a good selection of pieces. But once I get it out of the storage unit, I plane to convert it to a set color. Thanks! The Scyk and the Dunelizard were mostly used by mercenary or pirate gangs in the outer rim. But yes, honestly I wouldn't be suprised that they were not that well known since not alot of people I knew played SWG, aside from the people I already knew in game. And the only place that they have ever been was in the game, no other content. Because of that, I had also had included links to their sources on their MOC pages. Hehe, I did might have gone overboard with plates on the Dunelizard... but I think it might look better in real life if I ever built it. Maybe include some open panels with tubing and systems inside on the wings as a future idea.
  9. With the MMO Star Wars Galaxies coming to an end on the 15th, I thought it would be good to build a few fighters from it. It was something I have been wanting to do for awhile. Most of them can easily be concidered expanded universe ships. I have more info and stories on my page page here as well... as I have more then 1, I won't post all the pictures here. Over in the US Navy here, so my lego collection currently only is the new Lego V-wing... not much room for the real stuff heh. Anyways, enjoy the pictures. M3-A Scyk fighter. I origionally owned a real lego version of it, but has been lost through time and other creations. G1-M4-C Dunelizard Starfighter style 2, my newest creation. Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing with forward folding wings. Last but not least is my real MOC, my Sorosuub 3000 -Freighter Class-. I got more of a story on this one on my MOC page.
  10. I remember that Rig set! Very nice. I forget which one it was, but there was another one almost like that which was made some years later that was black and red if I remember correctly. I always thought that one was pretty neat. I had once collected cars for the Santa Fe engine here. Mostly into starship building nowadays. Welcome to the forums!
  11. Hehe, yea. I was always a Scorch fan myself :p
  12. Greetings clone trooper! New as well here! I'm surprised that out of 22927 or so people who joined, none have used the name "Sev" yet. That's pretty funny.
  13. From one new guy to another, welcome to the forums and hope you will have just as good as time here as I hope to have. And yea, your english is good. Makes me wish I knew a second language nearly as well as my english! :D
  14. Wow... never knew the prices when up that high. Pretty much all I was going to say has been said... but yea, happy that I had got mine at the origional price. Now if I only had it here and not stored away in some darn storage unit, I'd make building an interior my top prioraty.
  15. Before I forget (and before it closes) here is my Lego universe page on some of the creations I'll be moving to my MOC page. You'll also find links to Snomando (my brother, who is an awesome ship builder btw) and his creations.
  16. Wow... lol, after finding this for the first time I am hooked. I miss all those older sets you see off and on in there.
  17. Wow, that is awesome. Defiantly resembles the the usual enterane to a Vault. I like the table in the cafateria, pretty nice.
  18. As lego spaceship frieghter builder, I think it is absolutly stunning. That's awesome how you have the lights in the engine there.
  19. Thank you! And oh how true that is. Though other things you could do with them once they are built (and I did this alot when I was younger) is run around the house flying a space ship against my younger brother who had his own. My Mom hated when we had mid air collisions hahaha. There is just something nice about the sound of Legos crashing apart (especially in large amounts). But yes, those dogfights were even worse when we had tried them with anything bigger. Still fun as ever... wish I had owned a camera back then so I could have captured most of it.
  20. Bought the new Lego V-wing and a Lego Stormtrooper watch from the Lego Store :)
  21. Greetings there! Well, it seems my love for Legos resparked after visiting the Lego Store for the first time back on Black Friday. Wasn't able to leave without getting a Lego set and in the end I decided that a Lego watch and a V-wing would complete my day there. Decided then to load back up my LLD and check out some of my older creations and get back into the zone. I eventually landed here after a search for a good place to maybe inspire myself in more of my creations. My love is building big ships out of the Star Wars universe. Not huge ones, but the good sized tramp frigates and freighters inspired by some of our favorite smugglers and mercenaries out there... and star fighters, gotta love building those as well. I also try starting projects to build other ships such as the ones in the MMORPG game Star Wars Galaxies (which they are unfortuently killing the server hamsters in 8 days...). Also have slowly been trying to build ships from the game EVE Online. Living over in San Diego Cal here (hence the Lego Store visit)... along with that, being active duty and living on base. So unfortuently they is nearly no space at all for any of my collection of Legos I once had... which is all still in a storage unit far, far, away. So the V-wing might be the only set I might ever have while staying here... and my watch heh. Despite that I still have my LLD... so I can still get creative, even if it is somewhat limited. Looking forard to spending more time here and knowing you guys more. Tuskano Edit: Going to have to get my MOC back up and running... deleted my account long time ago so I have to make a new one.
